Horse Cave KOA is excellent! The only thing missing is some grass and trees in part of the campground but this place has everything else you're going to want. My wife remarked that we needed to remember Horse Cave so we could come back and stay longer.

The dog park fence still needs repairs in the same areas as 2 years ago! Staff is wonderful! Great bed in cabin 5. Horrible bed in cabin 7. Asian beetles in cabins. Saw a roach in cabin 5; moved to cabin 7

Enjoyed our stay. Friendly staff. Clean, spacious bathrooms. Beautiful grounds. Only reason it wasn’t a 5 is because our site was quite slanted / unlevel. Would definitely stay again.

We really liked this campground. Picked it initially because not a lot of other campgrounds in the area have websites so it was hard to judge them being from out of town. I figured KOA's are pretty consistently nice and I wasn't wrong. We loved the trick or treating this weekend, and all the sites were really nice. Nice short drive to the National Park!

Everything was good but too much noise from the highway. Too loud in the front of the property sites.

Nice playground for kids. Nice bathrooms/showers Road noise is horrible, lots of trucks on interstate and getting off for gas. No TV at all. Internet not strong enough. Only trash dumpster is very far away from campsites. Laundry room has old machines, some are out of order. Only one working dryer ran 45 minutes and clothes were still wet.

Good, clean, well maintained park. They were ready for our arrival and access to I 65 close. We parked in an area that had recently been refreshed. Although the sites were stone they were wider than normal giving good tow vehicle parking.

Great stay for halloween weekend staff did a great job the only negative i have is we usually book for the following year and went up to book Sunday morning and said our spots were already booked they shouldn't allow someone else book your site until that person checks out we should've got 1st choice until we checked out then if we didn't reserve for next year then we lose our site but overall gre

Great Bathroom and shower arraignment. Nice staff and store. A little noisy from freeway, but it is identified in the right up. Our site was a little unlevel and concrete curb was challenging to negotiate. Would stay again on a different site.

We had to change sites in order to get our trailer level side-to-side; even with all of our leveling gear in place, our original site was so far off level that we couldn't use it. The staff at the campground was most helpful in reassigning us, so everything worked out OK. The all-gravel sites made for a bit of a dusty stay, but still very nice. Good, clean park with excellent customer service!

We had the worst location on a terrible tilt. We could not use our push out on our small travel trailer and we’re happy to leave the next morning. We were not able to pull up the top where it flat because other large trailers had taken the space I would have a refund and give you a Bad review. We have stayed with you before and enjoy the location and amenities at this time was terrible.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

I am sorry for your unpleasant stay. You booked the day of arrival and was told this site is for smaller Rv'S. You were aware of this before arrival. We had a sold-out weekend for our Halloween event.

Camp well organized. Check in prompt. Sites efficient, utilitarian. For travel was all we needed. Very much liked the bath shower individual rooms design This layout really is nicer than the shower room style.

My family have stayed in many KOAs, but this one may be our favorite. The bathrooms were the nicest and cleanest we have had at a KOA, and the fun clamping options were so nice. Everything g was so well taken care of. We will definitely be back.

Great staff and amenity, but my pull-through space (85) was not big-rig friendly. It sloped over 16 inches front to rear no matter how I positioned my 39 ft. Class A. Also, there was a very strong sewer smell in that vicinity of the park. The location is great and convenient for passing through and would be great for smaller campers.

Stayed in deluxe cabin. Had 4 people but linens only supplied for 2 people. This was the only KOA cabin we stayed at on our trip that didn't supply linens for all guests in cabin. Cabin was not the cleanest, a lot of dirt in the corners and rotting wood by the shower. But staff was really nice and friendly and campground had a lot of activities to do.

Great place to pull over for the night. The shower rooms were very nice and clean with individual rooms. They were great. Nice pull through spaces.

You have the best Internet if you can get it work on the TV. I got it on my computer, but not TV's. You have to be an IT guy to figure it out

My 2 grandsons and had an amazing time! The cabin was so nice and the kids loved the playground, bouncy pillow and the slide. The trick or treating was so much fun. We will definitely be back.

I enjoy each time I go to koa and been going for years now and don't plan on stopping now it's only like 28 miles for me but I feel like it's hours each time and each time feels like a vacation and this is what I love and will continue doing and will always go any chance I can it's my home away from home

Very nice park. Only thing I didn’t care for was dump station on a grade w/ hookups on wrong side. Our site had hookups on wrong side but we handled it

Loved the area our site did not accommodate our toy hauler that we use for our handicap son due to site we were not able to use

It was a really cool spot. Really close to mammoth caves. There were turkeys, ponies and a donkey ! There was also a great fishing pond. Over all a very beautiful site.

Visiting my nephew for a birthday party there. Nice camping sites. Pool well took care of and a fishing pond. I definitely recommend.

We didn't have a room because we were in our tent but they have some amazing looking teepees, and the conestoga wagons face a beautiful grassy valley with nice big decks out back. This is a really nice campground. All the showers are actually individual bathrooms so that was a really nice feature and they were super clean. We arrived after dark so I couldn't tell if any of the other empty tent sites were level. Ours wasn't super flat but we made do. Also, when you're picking your site for an RV or camper, there's some pull through right along the campground road where your table and fire pit basically sit next to the road. Maybe that's normal. I don't have a camper. And surprisingly the highway noise kept up all night long. My experience is that most KOAs we've ever stayed at are close to an interstate, but typically we don't notice the noise as much. This KOA campground was very well kept and I would definitely recommend it!
