No issues with stay or location. My issues are with online booking that says “only 1 spot left” then you arrive and every spot is open. I was only offered a “super” tent spot (because it costs more) and $38 is ridiculous for either a regular or super spot. I don’t usually stay at KOAs as the prices are double the others and I don’t use the amenities so seems like a waste of money to me

Clean, quiet and nice clean rests rooms. Stayed in one of the two luxury tent sites. I needed a little longer Maintance quickly solved my orobk with loan of a longer cord. Will be coming back�

Was a last minute decision to head up that way - I had left a message on their vm and they called back promptly. Person who called back was really nice, polite, and informative. Even though I was getting there after hours they left a very helpful map and info for us. Me and my friends felt very welcomed and would certainly stay there again!

We were camping in our tent and unfortunately the noise from the freeway kept us awake. In a RV I'm sure it wouldn't be an issue and possibly if we would have arrived and got a spot further from freeway that would have helped.

Tent sites are the closest the Interstate and very noisy. The bathroom showers were not clean.

Alors que dire …. Nous étions en tente , le camping en lui même est plutôt mignon mais Impossible de dormir la nuit même avec des boules quies ! L’autoroute à 500 m et l’artère principale de la ville a 100 m . Pour les toilettes et les douches , sur 10 campings de fait , c’est le plus sale ! Je doute que les douches et toilettes soient nettoyés régulièrement , c’est bien dommage

Excellent service and friendly people. My campsite did flood but it wasn’t awful and no on can control the rain. This is my 3rd time staying here and is a go-to when I drive west. Overall very pleasant experience and I will be back!

People quiet—truckers sound like the roar of the ocean. Bathrooms not very clean, hinges noisy, toilet doors swing too tight.

Decent place to spend one night on a trip but woman in office charged us 65.86 for our tent site despite filling out the night registration as plainly as possible and as accurately as can be for a tent site that’s should have been 35.84 then we also got charged 8$ for our two boys 6&7 yrs old which I thought was ridiculous and have camped all over the USA and several koa and never had that.

We arrived 5 mins before they closed. Worker didn’t offer firewood, said our key was outside and locked the door and went home. Site was only 90% cleaned. Fire pit was dirty with half burned trash. Bathroom was 75% clean.

We stayed in the basic tent area. Adequate space. Facilities were clean. Reasonable price. The tables need some updating. Impressive they offered food service for only a KOA journey. Luckily we stayed in our vehicle overnight as the sprinklers came on early in the morning and would have soaked our tent. Not a bad place to stay for the night.

Tent sites are on freeway side of the property, with no noise barrier. Bathroom facilities poorly constructed—shower head coming out of busted tile at the furthest top corner of each stall making shower difficult. Bathroom not clean. We arrived late after doing Petrified Forest park, would only stay again for same reason. Pool hours 11A-8P?!? Disappointing for tenters.

Nobody cares about tent campers any longer. The tent area was dirt with no grass and the restrooms were clean but a bit run down. For the price of a night and not using any electricity, it seems over priced. The neighbors dog came and pooped by where we were going to set up our tent so that was nice. The coffee was good in the morning.

Service was great, we just couldn’t stay because we couldn’t pitch our tent with the wind! We’d suggest the campground to friends with RVs, not tents, at least in this weather. Or windbreaks for the tent section.

Perfect location for visiting the Petrified Forest NP and local gift shops. Spacious sights, everything worked. (Didn't use the WiFi, have Starlink.

We tent camped here for one night while on a longer roadtrip, overall pretty decent KOA. We really liked the tent campsite we booked with privacy fences. Only downside for us was we were told the site had running hot and cold water in the little kitchen area within the site but the water wasn't running or set up so we had to go use the other sink by the bathrooms, no big deal overall though. If you plan to set up a tent on the tent pads filled with rocks be prepared to not be able to stake it down due to the rocks only being about 2 inches deep with solid ground under it, we set up in the wind so that wasn't ideal but we just weighed the tent down inside with our duffle bags. Bathrooms were nice and clean. Location is near the highway and right behind a McDonalds so you'll hear some noise at night.

Nice staff and everything was made simple. I'm not sure I've seen a bad KOA come to think of it. The location is very close to Route 66 and Petrified Forest/ Painted Desert. I should probably mention that Romo's restaurant is about 6 minutes away. If you're RVing, great location.
