4 day stay to check out the Petrified Forest etc. Park staff at the outside grill and maintenance were the most outgoing. The sand volleyball, merry go round, monkey bars and metal sliding board are very outdated. The pool had some missing tiles. Other than that good place to stay passing thru.

Advertised breakfast and dinner. Both were not available when we stayed. Grounds were clean but neighborhood surrounding were rough. Staff both at night and next morning were very short and kind of unhelpful.

This is the third overnight stay. It's a great location, great staff, nice campground and very easy in and out. Close to a Maverick for a fuel stop. Would stop again, no question.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. The park was well maintained. We did not use the bathrooms or laundry facilities. Perfect location to stay on I-40 and easy access to Petrified Forest NP and the Painted Desert.

Loved the Cowboy Kitchen! The WiFi was terrible. By contrast, the WiFi at the Santa Fe KOA was excellent.

The premium space was fantastic! Wish we could have stayed longer and really enjoyed our out door space. Suggestion - poop bags along the dog walk area would be helpful.

First time at this KOA and it was very pleasant. Nice office and store. Like the offerings for dinner and breakfast. Staff was really friendly. We will plan to stay here again. Pool looked inviting but due to recent surgery, swimming wasn't allowed yet.

Just needed a place to pull in for the night. My daughter was thrilled to wake up and see the playground and pool so we decided to spend a little extra time preparing to get on the road so she could run off some steam before continuing our travels.

This is a great park, very clean, well stocked store, large spaces, nice dog park, and very quiet. It is close to the Petrified Forest Park and many other activities. A great place to stay and explore.

This koa is very clean and well kept. The only issue is the train runs rt next to it. Our over night stay would have been great, however through the entire night trains would blow their horn while passing through. Im talking every hour or so u would be woken up to the sound of train horns. Really makes for horrible next day travel.

This was a surprisingly pleasant stay. I wasn't expecting much based on the surrounding area, but this KOA was really nice. There were enough shade trees to give it ambiance and comfort. The playground was a lot of fun for my 5yo. I appreciated the grill - not having to cook and clean after a long day on the road was great. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

There were many amenities that we appreciated like veggie burgers, delicious potato salad at the chuck wagon, many outdoor games and swimming, beautiful well maintained flowers everywhere. There was a nice gift shop with ice cream. The attendant Sandy was efficient and very personable. She must enjoy her job because she was very cheerful. She made us feel at home. We are glad we camped there.

We’ve stayed at the Holbrook KOA several times. The location works well as destination for visiting the petrified forest and a rest stop traveling I40. This KOA has several site options including private and fenced patios. We had a private patio with a fire pit, chairs and a covered dining area too nice to call a picnic table. This campground gives you everything you need. Good location to Petrified Forest NP, clean, hot showers and bathrooms, and a great camping kitchen that you can do your dishes in! The office staff was very accommodating to us because we needed to leave our camper, go to the NP and then come back to pick it up. We were able to secure a late check out for a small fee. The entrance is super cute and welcoming by the way! I would recommend and come back to this campground

Safe and clean. We were coming through late and needed a place to stay, and didn't have a reservation. They had an easy late, self check in. Found our spot and it was easy to hook up. Quiet campground. We saw a few families having dinner or going to the showers and that was it. Will definitely stay here again.
