We were only there one night, but the staff was friendly, very spacious sights and easy on and off the interstate. If we are ever in the area would definitely stay again!

Clean and spacious cabin with covered patio and outdoor grilling area. This was well worth the price and a great find during our road trip.

The park is very clean. Given the dusty desert, the person who cleans the restrooms and showers at the far end of the park deserves an award! The Cowboy Cookout breakfast is quick, tasty and reasonably priced. We stayed in a 45 ft motorhome. Will stay again!

We stayed for 2 nights on our way back from the Balloon Fiesta. Planned to see the forest and other attractions but the weather was not cooperating. The park was clean, well maintained and staff made us feel welcome. They offer breakfast and dinner which was nice on leaving day. Who can complain about biscuits and gravy!

After spending the day at the Petrified Forest, the KOA cabin was a wonderful place to rest. Everything was great, from the check in to departure.

Short stay. Nice KOA Journey. We enjoyed the gift shop and the morning breakfast and coffee. Friendly staff.

Staff were great and they are very friendly. They have nice breakfast and dinner options for guests. Park was clean and spacious. Bathrooms were nice but showers a bit small for moving around and shower heads were low so had to bend over to get my head under shower head. There is some road noise but not really bad. Wifi was ok.

Too expensive for what you get….I’ve stayed at hundreds of campgrounds throughout the nation and this one should be under $50 a night…it worked out as we passed through but I would not return

I paid extra for a premium site. There were no trees. The bushes were dead. The privacy fence was on the wrong side of the motorhome so I was staring at another RV instead of the privacy fence. It’s my understanding that you picked the type of site you want when you book your site so when I asked to move to the nicer site, which four of them were open at the time I was told no !

Nice clean campground. The front office was friendly and we especially liked the Cowboy Cookout feature. It gave us a great option for dinner and the food was outstanding!

Only stayed one night, as we were "traveling through." This campground has spacious sites and is neat and clean, nicely kept up! They even offer breakfast and dinners to go! A very nice amenity. Definitely would return.

Perfect campground for visiting Petrified Forest National Park. Clean bathrooms, laundry facility, good food available. Would definitely stay there again.

Great hosts, nice clean park and good breakfast! Spacious rv spots and the one we rented came with a private fenced in dog potty area! We will stay here again when in the area!

One night but a good one! So many ways to stay - if you are not satisfied it's your own fault! Loved the outdoor kitchen for supper and breakfast. We took advantage of breakfast in the morning. Yummy! I didn't realize the pool was heated or I'd have been stretching some tired driving muscles after we set up. Thanks for being our oasis!

Very smooth stay arriving after hours and all information was waiting as I was told it would be for our site and spot was very easy to get into. Also allowed us to leave our TRL on a lot outback for the day at no cost to go and visit the petrified Forest in our truck with out worries about pulling our camper. Excellent customer service at this campground

Cable didn't work. Repairman was prompt to fix, but was still very grainy picture. Food from the cowboy wagon could have been better.

The dog park is nice but that is the only grassy spot for dogs. The large gravel in the roads is hard to walk on. The cable was not working and hardly any WiFi. The lady at the front desk is very cold and not friendly at all. At first we thought she was just having a bad day but nope, rude the next day too and acted like it bothered her to have a conversation. Our site was ok but low power.

We would definitely give this park 5 stars for hospitality! The welcoming is wonderful and the Chuck Wagon is da Bomb. What we would rate low is our site. We were on an end, which was nice but, we were a 36’ Motorhome towing a car. We did not fit! We hung out the back and the front!

The cost of this Journey KOA is the highest we have ever paid for an overnite spot. Paid less for a Holiday KOA that was MUCH nicer!! The grass was super tall in the dog park as well in certain spots around the campground & lot is much need of gravel (smaller) as it has large gravel but very sparatic. The laundry was the worst - no area to fold clothes or cart to get your clothes in and out..

Bathrooms were in poor condition- black mold, dirty shower curtains, lights that were flickering. Disappointing for a KOA - r first stay at one l.

Absolutely fantastic campground. Lots of services, very well kept grounds, nice general store and friendly staff! I would definitely stay here again.

Bed was disgustingly stained, very uneven and broken down. You need to buy new beds and put mattress protectors on them. I felt like I was sleeping downhill because of how badly sunken the bed was. If I had stayed in my RV, my rating would be a 6/10. Dog park was nice.

I've needed to stay in a cabin during a storm and return later to stay in a tent site. I'm sure, as a guest, I've extended my stay beyond the 3 days, lol. Yet this place is pretty awesome. A really nice tent grassy area pets are not allowed to be on wirh water and 20 amp if needed. The cabins are very nice with a microwave and fridge, the sound of the rain on a tin roof would be better than the leaky shingles, lol. Management came in and checked it out, offered to move me to another cabin and replaced the shingle, however I did not move to another cabin. The restrooms are clean and the laundry facilities are clean as well. My favorite parts are the kind staff and the Chuckwagon breakfast and dinner. PETRIFIED TOAST for dinner? Yep, it is so good, and the sausage burrito for breakfast are my 2 favorites, great cooks and all the food cooking smells so good, it's hard to say, no, lol. Any problem is addressed immediately and for being by the interstate at the tent sites it's quieter than I thought it would be. Overall a great place to stay the night or a few days. Yet, I'm a guest, just like fish, after 3 days we all begin to stink, unfortunately some of those guests with smaller dogs feel their need to clean up after them is as small as the landmines they left behind in the dog park. So, not all the guests whom stay here are respectful. I'm grateful for the place to be while my dog healed from a procedure at the nearby vet. I'd go back again iffin they let me, lolol Thank you for a safe place for me and my fur baby during the storms of life. Petrified toast just try it, yummmm

This is a nice KOA. The staff was friendly and helpful. The laundry was clean and well maintained. The site was nice. This is a good location for seeing the Petrified Forrest National Park and Art Rock Ranch.
