I stayed in site 60 with a private patio and the patio is very nice but the site for the RV is too small, I was as far to the drivers side as possible and when exit the RV the fence to the patio is only 4’ away so with the steps out you have to step off the bottom step to the front or back of the RV. Other then that issue the park is well maintained and the staff are friendly and helpful.

I don’t like the fact that there is no place to take dogs to walk or potty except for a dirty, muddy area around the edge of the property. There’s grass for tent campers that doesn’t allow dogs, even though for the two nights we were there, there were NO tent campers. This is the first KOA I’ve been to that didn’t have grass for dogs.

I have never slept in a more comfortable bed! I’m serious! I loved our stay… plus the cabin was so nice & warm! I give our stay 6 stars!!

Great location for lots of sites to see. Route 66, meteor crater, Winslow, two guns ghost town, trading posts. Mesa restaurant had a great atmosphere. We at in the bar area so we could watch Saturday night football. Great staff!

Great experience with this KOA. The only suggestion I have is to add ventilation to the women's bathroom. The place was steamy the next morning. Otherwise, clean and well maintained!

Only negative was the men’s bathroom. It was clean but paper dispenser nor hand air dryer worked. Bathroom stalls may work for a small child but way too small.

Host was lovely. The store had items at reasonable prices so I was able to purchase items for gifts. Restrooms were clean. Dog park was a plus for my dogs . Campground was great. This is my 2nd visit

Very plain camping area and what was real disturbing was the lack of WIFI availability. some campers like ourselves rely on WIFI being provided. When it's raining like it was when we were there it would be nice to be able to be on the internet or watch TV. Without WIFI this was not possible.

Nice place close to several attractions and close to downtown Holbrook. We were next the office and the WIFI didn’t work. The bathrooms could use some updating. Light didn’t work over bathroom door. Bathroom doors did not shut all the way so not very secure. Camp itself could use a little more granite chips to cover the clay. It rained when we were there and had clay sticking to our shoes

I’m torn between liking and not liking the location. I like it because it’s very accessible from I40 without being too noisy. I don’t like it because I felt like I’m in an abandoned location/wasteland. Well maintained bathroom. Friendly lady at the reception.

It was clean and well maintained, but extremely noisy. The interstate is close by and locals use the road to the campground, to access dirtbike trails? Granted, I was in a tent. It may have been a quieter night in a big RV.

It was just an overnight on our way home. There really isn't a lot of choices in that area so for us it was fine. They have a camp store and the staff was very friendly. It's very close to the highway so you will get a lot of truck noise. If you are a lite sleeper it might be a problem. We would stay again if passing through.

Good location of I-40, sites are nice with privacy we stay site #54, one think I do like they allowed wash RVs the time you stay, one thing I didn't like is they won't pick up the phone. Fancy thing we did call to ask we had question we left a massage no one call us back the time we got to the office do to the check in was there 2 persons doing nothing just playing on the phone.

We were disappointed in our stay this time. We had reserved an enclosed patio RV site, i double-checked that we were receiving this same type of site as we had previously, she confirmed, yes it is the same site. However, when we arrived, and went to our site, it was not the site reserved and confirmed. I went back to the office, and was informed that no site of that type was available.

We had a premium site that included a completely walled area with pavilion, fire pit, table/chairs, etc. The site itself was very large; fit our 40' 5th wheel, the dually and a separate full-sized truck. The walled area (we called the stockage) was nice, but we never used it. It felt like a jail. Zero view. But the park is nice, and the staff is wonderful. Great place; would stay again.

Advance booking worked well and reception staff very helpful upon arrival. Have been staying at KOA Holbrook during transit for many years. Site as offered and advertised fell quite short of expectations. While utilities (water and electric) were adequate, overhanging tree branch interfered with unit parking (too low). Cable TV service was poor and internet/wi fi was non existant.

Wifi was not working for the three day stay Cable was nothing but fuzzy for entire stay bathroom showers were dirty at 5:00 pm pm Thursday Nov 30th Very low water pressure that we could not use our own shower. Guests behind us had 3 big dogs in the special kennel barked all the time during the night and early mornings, not supervised We paid a premium price for less than KOA standards.

I stayed here in April 2025 and wasn't impressed. But I stayed again in November 2025 and saw many great improvements. Lots of nice new cabins, RV spaces separated by hedges and fences, and some great, super wide sites. Store is very well stocked and organized - the best I've ever seen.

This campground gives you everything you need. Good location to Petrified Forest NP, clean, hot showers and bathrooms, and a great camping kitchen that you can do your dishes in! The office staff was very accommodating to us because we needed to leave our camper, go to the NP and then come back to pick it up. We were able to secure a late check out for a small fee. The entrance is super cute and welcoming by the way! I would recommend and come back to this campground

Safe and clean. We were coming through late and needed a place to stay, and didn't have a reservation. They had an easy late, self check in. Found our spot and it was easy to hook up. Quiet campground. We saw a few families having dinner or going to the showers and that was it. Will definitely stay here again.
