I stayed here about eight years ago and it was great. Unfortunately, this last visit wasn't as good. The price for a deluxe cabin has increased dramatically and the quality has declined. The shower faucet in the cabin was loose and unstable. The shower had very little water pressure. The Internet was unreliable and constantly buffering. For the price, a hotel would have been better.

We've stayed at the Holbrook KOA 3 different occasions. We prefer site 107 because it's a long pull thru and very close to the dog park. The park is always clean and well maintained. The host is always friendly and professional. The prices are very reasonable. It's very close to I-40. Actually, you can see I-40 from the park, but it's far enough away to avoid hearing the traffic.

Awesome deluxe cabin. Very clean and comfy. Well stocked. Best sleep in days. The fire pit and the courtyard fire pit was a nice touch too.

The bathrooms smell bad, and the shower water temperature swings wildly from icy cold to scalding hot because they are too cheap to use pressure compensating shower valves

Stayed there for an overnight (there and back) on a Christmas trip from Colorado to So. California. We make the trip regularly and always stay at KOA Holbrook. It is our convenient mid-way stopping point, has a friendly staff, and is very dog friendly. Love the seasonal chuckwagon to get a bite to eat and the summertime pool. In winter, the overnight temps are warmer than Flagstaff's.

There were non-guests walking thru the park, and hopping the fence to get to an adjacent property. Didn't feel safe, property not secure. Place felt run down and overpriced. The interstate noise was significantly louder than expected. The surrounding town is very sketchy, lots of intoxicated and transients roaming around. Will not be back.

It was okay. Disappointed to find that the “Super” tent sites weren’t very well maintained…almost felt neglected. No running water (website states “hot and cold water”); electric hookup was too far from tent area(I had to purchase an additional extension cord). Positives: clean restrooms; easy access to interstate hwy and area attractions; friendly staff

Excellent property. Stayed for one night on our way home from Ohio. Easy in easy out and lots of room. We have a 45 foo super C and the pull thrus are very roomy. We will definitely return. Great local restaurant down the street.

Travel from Vegas to Houston twice a year. Holbrook KOA is our always stop. Clean, handy and the store ALWAYS has something g my wife must have!!

Sort of a let down for a K O A. We went to the National park in the morning and asked for a late check out. We were told 12:00. The place was 5% full. We rushed our time at the park to get back by 12. We needed propane and were told we had to wait till 1and would be charged a $10 late check out fee Hospitality was very poor by the woman in charge. We left, never coming back. Bad service.

Can't say enough about this place! We were in cabin F (Cottage studio with dining area & Kitchenette. Full bath. Bunk room). It was gorgeous and nicely appointed. We stayed 1 night at the beginning of our trip and liked it so much we spent 2 nights on the way back. The shower takes a few minutes to get up to pressure but then it's fine. Office staff was friendly & helpful.

Other than the batteries in the remote control being dead, the property and the staff were great. Very well maintained, and the staff were beyond great!

We were on a 9 day RV trip & this KOA was probably our worst experience. I got the least advanced info from them than any of the parks. Left a packet for us. Our site that we were assigned wasn't what we paid for. Tried calling 3x & no answer or call back so picked another 1. It was so dark & hard to navigate. Called in the a.m.- no answer. We left but came back so I could talk to them. No apology

We stay here a bunch in cabins C and D. This time there was no soap or shampoo to get cleaned up. We had to use the hand soap.

We only stayed one night in a cabin. This was our first time staying in KOA and it was a great experience. We will be back.

Friendly staff, clean cabins, it would be really nice if there was a pet area with grass. I can't return to this particular campground because my old dog doesn't do well on gravel.

Our site was clean as were the bathrooms. It is one of the few that have papertowels in the bathrooms. I never realized what a luxury that was until none were provided at the last three campgrounds we stayed at. Showers were hot and very clean. More hooks would be nice, but what was there was workable. I would stay there again to go to the Petrified Forest/Painted Desert NP.

This campground gives you everything you need. Good location to Petrified Forest NP, clean, hot showers and bathrooms, and a great camping kitchen that you can do your dishes in! The office staff was very accommodating to us because we needed to leave our camper, go to the NP and then come back to pick it up. We were able to secure a late check out for a small fee. The entrance is super cute and welcoming by the way! I would recommend and come back to this campground

Safe and clean. We were coming through late and needed a place to stay, and didn't have a reservation. They had an easy late, self check in. Found our spot and it was easy to hook up. Quiet campground. We saw a few families having dinner or going to the showers and that was it. Will definitely stay here again.
