We were put in a site that was as far as possible from the bathrooms and showers.

Campground is one of the best Journey campgrounds that we've visited. Pleasant and efficient check-in, site was level, wide and long. Perfect for an overnight stay. Can’t wait to return to the area do we can explore the area sightseeing spots.

Staff was very helpful and friendly. The cabin was clean and comfortable. The only issue I had was that I was not able to connect to Wi-Fi on any of my devices. Tried multiple times over my stay. Having no Wi-Fi however did allow me to watch a lot of the Olympics. Overall, good place to stay. It was quiet and close to the Petrified Forest entrances and close to some historical Route 66 sites

Worst place I've ever stayed at! First they parked us between two 10ft wooden fences which made the scenery terrible. We had on and off internet, mostly off. And upon leaving we needed propane. The gentlemen OVER FILLED our tank. So we paid for 2 extra gallons and my husband had to release our propane to get it where it needed to be. He filled it so much it blew the release value off! VERY DISAPP

The bathrooms had heat, and the showers were hot! (A prerequisite for me) The sites had some shade with mature pine trees. Children there were enjoying the playground.

Our first impression was that the koa was very institutional; not warm and Homey. It was very clean, no complaints.

It was clean and fit our needs for the night. The campground could use a little bit of an update. I had minimal contact with staff but the few interactions I had were very pleasant and helpful.

We spent a week here on our route 66 trip and this area is amazing. We did 3 days at the Petrified Forest doing hikes. Make sure you ask for off the beaten path trail map from the Park Ranger to find where the paths are.

We stayed in the Deluxe Cabins. Between the time made reservations and our stay I broke my ankle. When checking in they told me they were moving me to the ADA cabin. I was so grateful, it made our stay so much easier. Thank you for caring. The cabins are nicely remodeled. The ADA one we stayed in is perfect for someone with like mited mobility. We'll be back with our RV.

Says dog friendly. But signs everywhere say no dogs. No fire pit in the gravel sites, no grass or shade. Picnic table unlevel and difficult to use as is. Unlevel grounds are very unsafe Host was nice Bathrooms were decent. Place was quiet

The campground staff were helpful and friendly, bathrooms and laundry were clean and worked well. Campsights were good sized. Overall good stay.

Very nice spot for the night. Friendly staff. Would definitely come back! My husband left his eye glasses behind with. Cup and they called to let us know and that they will mail them to our home. Definitely above and beyond as we were almost to Amarillo! Thank you !

This KOA is fine for an overnight stay or maybe if you’re working in the area. It does have the updated cabins and a nice gathering area in the middle of the cabins. Well kept, friendly staff and quiet. It’s a somewhat isolated town with not much going on.

We were just there for an overnight stay. But the park was set up nicely and the restrooms and showers were pretty clean. If we come through again I would book again

Stayed 2 nights in January, so campground was pretty quiet. Friendly, helpful desk staff. Nice warm, clean, well lit and conveniently arranged and appointed restrooms. Decent space for campers. Very good.

The cable TV was fuzzy at my campsite. I called for maintenance and they came to check it with a test tv. I moved to another site with better connection. Thanks for your help!

We get to the cabin about 6;05 just minutes after closing bit our map and key were at the podium. Git to the cabin. Had linen already made on bed. Slept good, had a hot shower in the morning and was very clean.

Our only complaint was the lack of internet service. This is important when you have a student traveling with you that needs daily access. Otherwise, this is a very nice park and a good place to stay. The pull-through site was great since we arrived after dark!

We only stayed one night but the accommodations were epic for our family. We had a 29 foot RV with full hook ups and chose the site with the built in patio that was fully fenced in with fire-pi, table and chairs. We had our family dog and two kids with us and this was literally the PERFECT set up for us. Private, safe and in the perfect proximity to the National Park we were visiting the next day.

Bathrooms need updating. We liked that showers were clean and free. However, the hand dryers didnt work and the bathroom was run down and needed remodeling.

This campground gives you everything you need. Good location to Petrified Forest NP, clean, hot showers and bathrooms, and a great camping kitchen that you can do your dishes in! The office staff was very accommodating to us because we needed to leave our camper, go to the NP and then come back to pick it up. We were able to secure a late check out for a small fee. The entrance is super cute and welcoming by the way! I would recommend and come back to this campground

Safe and clean. We were coming through late and needed a place to stay, and didn't have a reservation. They had an easy late, self check in. Found our spot and it was easy to hook up. Quiet campground. We saw a few families having dinner or going to the showers and that was it. Will definitely stay here again.
