Peter the campground keeper is phenomenal. He is what gives this park a 5 � the cabins are quaint and the park has communal kitchens, and firepit. More like field camping then woods. The showers and bathroom are clean.

Always a pleasant stay at Hinton, KOA. Very clean and tidy campground. Staffs are very helpful and very responsive and very organized. I would like to say special thanks to Mr. Peter who was the staff on duty during our stay. He is very helpful and always make sure that the customers are taken care of at his campground. Great guy. Thanks KOA. This is our favorite place to stay when visiting Jasper

Our first time staying at any KOA. We had a great time at a good price. Felt like some maintenance needed to be done (broken bench swing, starter in bbq didn't work, some broken slats in the blinds) but we would definitely stay again.

The location is very convenient. We stayed in a cabin for four nights. I almost packed up and went home after the first night because the mattress was incredibly uncomfortable. Since we were unlikely to get a refund we remained but it wasn't a very relaxing time due to lack of sleep. I noticed there was unsafe wiring in a fixture in the ladies washroom.

An affordable option for a stay. Cabin was not level. It was very warm inside and the front window was difficult to keep open. A mother one or two receptacles would be nice considering all the devices these days requiring charging.

Its clean and quiet. We stayed in a basic cabin, it has a double bed and a bank bed with fridge, heating system is also installed.There’s communal kitchen equiped with cooker (you dont need to bring cooker with you), and sink. Bathroom and shower is clean. Highly recommended.

Stayed in a pet friendly cabin and it was mostly great. The cabin could use a good cleaning tho. Empty water bottle behind fridge, mattress had stuff stuck to it, definitely could have used a dusting in there and maybe a wipe down of the mattresses. Cabin served it’s purpose during this rain filled week

Awesome cozy cabin stay with beautiful landscapes. Nice and clean washrooms and community kitchen is add-on. It was amazing three days stay. Big thanks to the staff for keeping property clean and well organized.

We were staying in a deluxe cabin. Everything was great with the stay. The only thing thats slightly confusing is how the parking for each cabin is layed out. Us and our neighbors both parked in the wrong spot because of how confusing it is. Once you figure out the parking everything else is great.

Desk clerk gentleman was the reason for 5 stars. An absolute gem of a human. The little cabins are perfect. So close to the Rockies and Jasper and so affordable. Booked a second night this past weekend and booked another night in July. Can't wait ��

We stayed in a deluxe cabin in our trip from Anchorage to Minneapolis. The facilities at this campground were as nice as any I have stayed at and far better then any other on this trip. Peter was very nice and helpful

We really had a hard time w the manager. He wouldn’t let us park out UHaul and trailer in a pull-through spot even though there were many vacant lots available on the property. He argued with my partner about where to park and wouldn’t budge. He ended up telling us to park in a grassy field. It rained, and our tires were stuck deeply in the field. He did, however, call to tow us.

Everything was perfect.....except for 1 issue. The outdoor communal firepit was out of order under renovation. It was cold...and a long weekend, should have been operational.

When we arrived to our cabin , it was clear our bbq was knocked over and left there . There was grease all over the brick walk way, the bbq itself inside was all over the place . The plug to the bathtub didn't work . We specifically got that cabin because we have two little kids who bathe nightly before bed and it didn't even work. Not impressed.

3 nights in a cabin at the Hinton KOA after 3 nights in a tent in the mountains was fantastic ! Hot shower, log cabin, amenities… it was a great pick me up mid-holiday. I’ll be back again as I have been at the Hinton for 10 years now

We look forward to staying at this location every year. It’s perfectly located near Hinton and only 45 minutes from Jasper. There are amazing clear lakes nearby. For my family, the cabins give us the opportunity to enjoy the wilderness with still having some of the comforts of home.

We paid $200 a night for a cabin next to a failed septic field. I have pictures of septic water puddles that sit adjacent to the site. The wind blows the smell directly into our cabin as we have to have windows open in very hot weather with no A/C. I’ve posted on Facebook and will be reaching out to Yellowhead County to get them to order a repair/replacement. Grass is cut nicely though.

Our deluxe cabin was great. The grounds are kept very well. This KOA needs something like other KOA’s which could be mini golf, go carts etc to give guests something to do. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

We had a wonderful stay, the campground is clean and quiet. The only thing that I could fault is the smell that sometimes was outside, it was very unpleasant.

Great little place to stay the night or two. We stayed in a comfort cabin. Clean and dry. Bathrooms and showers were very clean. Quiet at night. Not many trees if that’s what you’re looking for but great mountain views.

Perfect!!! I cant say enough. Soooooo affordable. So close to the entrance of Jasper you can look at mountains from your own site. We rented a cabin. No water no kitchen no linen. - so plan to use the communal kitchen and public washroom but both are clean and well stocked. Showers are great

We came in to Jasper quite late last evening and found there were no available spots in town. We called ahead to the Hinton KOA and they had one spot left. Peter in the office was very kind and accommodating and stayed open late to help us get checked in. The grounds are clean and well kept and it is very quiet. The price for a full service site was reasonable.
