Was a great experience, for our first KOA stay. Had a problem with the water. Seemed to be a leak under ground so had a bit of a puddle developed in the area. Advised the management & am sure they will address it. Otherwise everything was great from toilets to showers(Free!!!)

Fabulous!!very clean, the cutest dog area to run your dogs, and the service was fabulous. 10/10 would stay here again

Love the large field available as an off' leash Dog park. My puppy loved playing fetch for hours.

This location was perfect for our stay in Hinton. Traveling through to Alaska we were able to spend a couple days here to recharge. The campground is well maintained and the pull thru spot we had accommodated us as well as putting up a kennel for our dogs. The park was nice to walk around and had a large area for dogs to run around. Definitely recommend.

Roads and bridge need work. This place has gone downhill from our last stay here. Wouldn't take much to address these items, but appears to be no willingness to do so.

The park was well maintained. Sites were flat and level. The views and surrounding areas were beautiful. The staff was super friendly. Highly recommended .

Overall a good place to stay. I was a little concerned about the one lane bridge to enter the property as it is obviously in need of some repair. There are also number of pot hole to dodge on the lanes to your campsite. Other than than the facilities are nice and the staff person was very friendly. I would stay again.

Roads into and around the property are riddled with large potholes including the one lane bridge, making it difficult to navigate in an RV. The sites are small with little to no shade. Guests had dogs off leash; we had to ask the person next to us to secure theirs so we could dump. The laundry room was nice; get loonies and toonies ahead of time; exchange rate is bad in office. Fire pavilion nice.

Peter the manager was great, he was helpful and accomodating, he was able to help out a fellow camper with being able to stay longer, due to mechanical failure with the tow vehicle. The facilities were clean and well maintained.

Well cared for, clean, friendly staff, great K9 area. My only complaint is lack of trees (and the Alberta rain this year). Would definitely stay again.

Sites are side by side in an open field with no trees to separate. Sites do not have their own fire-pits.

I booked a cabin originally for 4 adults 2 kids I thought it had a pullout couch and a bunk bed and double bed that the desk told me about. The booking wasn’t made properly only enough space for 4. so we wanted up with paying for another cabin extra $ oh well they didn’t care more money for them. Be sure booking look right.

We’re not allowed to put up a small tent besides our Motorhome even if it is for medical reason. Other campgrounds allowed us to do so. Nothing to do there , especially for the children

It was very rainy when we arrived so really couldn’t explore the area. Showers and laundry very clean. Friendly staff. Only real issue was the height of the dump area on site as I didn’t have my hose elevated. But I understand the need for grounds keeping. Main reason I wouldn’t highly recommend was the price. Perhaps if weather was better and we could have explored and used any of the facil

Kabin was great , we had our own sheets and sleeping bags. But “mattresses “ were Very worn out and had no spring to them . Loved the kitchen shelter but burners took forever to boil water .

We enjoyed our stay at Hinton/Jasper KOA as a respite from many days of travel. The campground is really well maintained and the staff is very friendly. Would stay here again.

They have location going for them, but the bathroom facilities and infrastructure are definitely showing their age. The water & electric hookups in the older part of the campground are not within reach when you park in a campsite. Not up to KOA standards.

We stayed here in 2024 and came back again in 2025. We love this place because it's clean, the grass is green, and the views are great. It is a little far from Jasper to go back and forth several days in a row, but it's not a big deal. The manager is fantastic and very accommodating.

Perfect!!! I cant say enough. Soooooo affordable. So close to the entrance of Jasper you can look at mountains from your own site. We rented a cabin. No water no kitchen no linen. - so plan to use the communal kitchen and public washroom but both are clean and well stocked. Showers are great

We came in to Jasper quite late last evening and found there were no available spots in town. We called ahead to the Hinton KOA and they had one spot left. Peter in the office was very kind and accommodating and stayed open late to help us get checked in. The grounds are clean and well kept and it is very quiet. The price for a full service site was reasonable.
