Great tent site, but could use rest room or portajohn closer to site, WiFi was very poor in that area. We enjoyed our stay.

The cabin was wonderful! It was in a great location, very clean, and well stocked. I didn’t get a chance to use anything else at the campground, but it looked like it was in good working order. I would definitely stay there again!

Everything was good. It was quiet in the park with not a lot of crowds but we still connected with a neighbor and enjoyed visiting with them. The park setting is fabulous and the new improvements made the park better. We have been in this park numerous times over the years and you can't beat it for a great location.

We loved our stay! The proximity to Needles Highway was our main reason for booking. Staff were helpful and friendly. The cabins were close to the bathhouse. The bathrooms and showers were in great condition.

Great spot for access to everything in the Black Hills. Had more of a "camping" feel than the other KOAs in the area. Great updates to the facilities and the staff was very kind and helpful.

This campground was beautifully located in the trees. It was quiet and just off the road to the Needles and Sylvan Lake. Very centrally located to Mt Rushmore, Crazy Horse and Custer and Hill City. The management was very friendly and helpful. The restrooms and showers were very clean. Our pull through site was nice, level and easy to enter, hookup and leave. We hope to return.

Beautiful and fantastic location. Extremely welcoming and knowledgeable staff throughout the camp. Lots nearby to see and do and lots to do in camp. Everything appeared new and immaculate. The addition of a food truck was a boon.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. However, the campground itself needs work. I understand it was an established campground for years before becoming a KOA but needs work. It has the potential for being a good campground for small to mid sized RVs. Big rig friendly is borderline. The pull-through site #30 that I had was not pull out friendly. I had to back out.

Very nice park. If you have kids, there’s lots for them to do. The bathrooms were clean as well as the showers. All the showers had seats in them, which was nice if you needed it. They also have food available from a food truck. The people working there were really friendly and I enjoyed visiting with them. Wi-Fi does not work well.

When we got to our campsite we were notified that we weren't going to have our campsite we reserved, they were redoing the sites and we were given an inappropriate site, we were so upset we almost left!!But the staff was wonderful and worked with us and got us a site that we enjoyed. The staff were very kind, cooperative and helpful!! The staff at KOA needles gave 110% to make our stay pleasant!!

The queen “mattress” in cabin J was a shame! Ripped, duct taped, and offered no support. We didn’t sleep. Other than the mattress it is a great campground. Very scenic and clean - hot showers - and a food truck!

Loved the campsite, but there was streetlight next to out camp which was bright white light and made it difficult to sleep in the tent. Also the sites lack privacy as all sites are very close to each other. And the washroom stinked at night.

We stayed last week. Tenting in site 104. Had a very good experience. Staff was all great. Met several all friendly, and they enjoyed what they were doing. Camp is very obviously in active setup and renovation. Bathrooms were always clean. Hot water always plenty. This campground is a beautiful scenic location. We love it. New laundry setup was great.

The Hill City/Needles HWY KOA was the perfect "base-camp" for our stay doing our Black Hills experience. The camp is nesteled in a pine forest on side of a look-out surrounded by beutifule peaks. Wake up to fresh pine forest smells! Folks running the camp were friendly and helpful. Super clean bathrooms, hot showers!!!! We'll be back!

Great stay and all staff were super accommodating and friendly. I didn't use tge shower facilities, but our friends did and they said they were the best they'd ever seen. I camped there 28 years ago, thanks for another great experience!
