We stayed on site 32 this weekend. We had a great time. The bathhouse was clean and the workers were very friendly. We will definitely be back.

This campground is beautiful, quiet, and the bath houses are exceptionally clean. Our spot was really nice for our RV.

We stayed in a site right by the lake. The sunsets were just awesome. The site was large and our neighbors were not right up on top of us. The kids and I walked the trails on several days. It's a little over 1.5 miles through the woods. The hills were not bad. The kids loved the waterfall at the creek. The showers were AWESOME! Great water pressure and always hot. The W/D's worked very well.

We enjoyed our stay. The trees need to be trimmed at the campsites - we had to trim ours. Also the sites were very difficult to get into - roads should have shoulders built up.

This is our second stay at KOA Hartwell. It was once again a lovely visit. The host and workers are friendly& accommodating, the park is clean, and the sites are beautiful. Thank you for another weekend of cherished memories.

Some of the sites are a little tighter than we like. However, we stayed on site 17 and loved it. We had plenty of room and a beach front. The trails were easy to walk and well maintained. The staff was very friendly. I have already recommended it to two friends.

Bathrooms were discussing. Always out of firewood. Campsite was dirty when I arrived.

Excellent facility and stay. Need to install some WiFi repeaters around the campground but other than that, perfect. I navigated a 38’ Class A with no problem; 45 footers may have a bit more of a challenge.

My favorite and only place to take a nice vacation with our travel trailer. Park staff are the best. Makes for a nice peaceful getaway.

Overall stay was enjoyable. The park is very quiet and secluded. However, the Wifi was non-existent. Even with a Wifi booster I was never able to connect. The camp sight we were assigned (#41) was very difficult to level our trailer due to its slope and ruts. We never got it completely level. On our next visit I will request a much different site.

Campsites were very clean. Ours was a 2 level right at shoreline. Water was warm & weather was perfect. Wish we were still there.

Very quiet, and we liked how the sites were spaced out. My only negative comment would be that the site was not flat.

it was great. the only problem I had was that there were 3 steps between our parking spot and the picnic table and fire pit. because there was no rail or anything to hold onto I could not get to the table or firepit. that was very disappointing. there were lots of large dogs and people playing in front of our site instead of near there own.

Teepees we’re a super cool place to stay! Waterfront sites were nice. Employees were kind and helpful.

Not like other KOAs. We had to find the dumpster instead of putting the trash out to be picked up. Site was nice. Could have done without the 2 rigs that came on the next to the last day with 5 dogs between them. They appeared to be together as the 5 dogs were at the site behind us some of the time. Often off leash and not very well trained and running all over.

Site was very small and there was no internet. I heard other campers complaining as well because the WiFi doesn’t work. When I called about it, I was told that the signal comes from the bath house and the water interferes somehow with the signal. We needed to be able to get emergency calls so I didn’t rest easy knowing if my daughter needed me, she wasn’t able to get a hold of me.

We enjoy our stay there but there is a lot that could be done to improve the place. We try to stay at the same site (#18) when we go camping and we like the site but it does need some work around the whole park. Our site had a steep hill down to the water. Looks like there could be some type of steps or something that makes it easier to get to the water from this site.

Exceptional lake views. Courteous, friendly, knowledgeable staffing. No overzealous business in this place from the part of any "host". Felt very comfortable and without anyone wielding their basic rules at you.

We only stayed there while our house was being built, but thankfully, they let us! We enjoyed the lake! Scary when it storms when you're surrounded by woods and trees fall over!

Staff were very friendly, lots of shade, large, level campsites. However, there was some trash not picked up from previous guest, and LOTS of dead trees (some standing and some fallen) which are hazardous. I just expected more from a KOA.

Very disappointed in the way manager's ability to send information to the campers. There is no thought to the needs of the camper.

We love KOA Lakeside. Bathrooms could use some updating but the campsites are amazing! Our family loves it!

This is one of the best camping places we have been to. Hartwell lakeside KOA has excellent camping options. Great Lake views. Restrooms are clean. Kids play area. Dog park. Variety of sites to fit your camping preferences. The staff is really friendly and provide great service. We have camped here 3 times and always recommend to our friends and family. I would anytime come back and camp here.
