We rented a deluxe cabin for a long weekend. The staff was very friendly and helpful our entire stay. The cabins were super clean and so was the entire campground. We will be back and thoroughly enjoyed our time with KOA.

We loved our stay and will definitely come back. Thw cleanest cabin we have ever stayed in. However only have one complaint and am only mentioning to help improve. My boys stayed in the bunk area. It was very small and had no air circulation. It needs a fan or small ac unit.

Cabin was in perfect spot. We got to walk right down to the lake didn’t have to leave or worry with toting a lot of stuff. Perfect for small get always. Our girls liked having the bunk beds in a room to themselves and we liked that we could shut their door but still be close enough to hear them.

The location was great, and the staff at check-in was excellent. I was a little disappointed with the quality of the restrooms. It was a busy holiday weekend, but the restrooms needed attention. The toilet paper was empty in a few stalls, there was excess water from poor drainage on the floors, and they both needed a deep clean. Quiet hours weren't really adhered to, but again, it was a holiday.

Was very nice to stay at the cabin! Beautiful view, everything set up inside: water, shower, toilet, microwave, fridge, Wi-Fi, beds. Love it!

We had a wonderful time exploring this area of Georgia. Lake Hartwell by pontoon boat was an adventure. Everyone we met at the KOA was very friendly and accommodating. A great time was had by all! Thank you! Accommodations

The only thing we’d like to see is power outlets available at the tipis. The staff always goes above and beyond! We had a great weekend.

A+++ highly recommended! Beautiful place to stay. Very well maintained & very clean. Lovely spot on a fantastic lake! Local town has whatever you may need from gear & chow to gas. If your staying in this area this is the spot. Reasonable prices with friendly staff. Definitely worth the stop.

We were lucky to be here on a week when our neighboring cabins were empty. On the last day a large family checked into the cabin next door and it soon felt very crowded because the cabins are so close together. Perhaps some bushes or a fence between cabins would help. Also a propane grill outside would be nice. Otherwise an excellent stay. Please stock the KOA store in the office with more supply

The campground is nice. We stayed in Cabin 3. I would have liked to have had a bit more of the wooded area cut out for better access to the water. Where we were there ealyy wasn't a good swimming spot for the kids. All in all though the cabins were nice and the park was nice.

We always enjoy our stay at Hartwell Lakeside! It's so exciting to see the new features/improvement with each visit. This was our first time to stay in a cabin. It was so cute and accommodating. Just note, if you are planning for all adults, the bunks are kind of tight, but still comfortable! As for the staff, they are the best! Always very friendly and professional. We will be back soon!

Nice sites with great views of lake. Lots of walking trails. Cabins are expensive but staff was friendly and not far from town.

Loved how this KOA is tucked in the woods with trails to hike, and how its surrounded by a beautiful lake. Really enjoyed our stay. Cabins are very clean. Mattress on bed was too soft is my only complaint.

Loved the new deluxe cabins!!! Limited cable, but the new TVs allowed us to hook up to streaming apps like Netflix to watch Holiday Movies at night. We stayed over Thanksgiving for a nice family getaway & it was just perfect. Kids loved the jump pad, beautiful lake, and very friendly staff. The only recommendation would be to have brooms in the cabins. Perfect views. We'll be back for sure!!!

The cabin was very clean and nice, great location and very easy access to a beautiful views of the lake. The grocery stores near by, so if you forget something very easy to go get something.

The campground is beautiful and clean. I loved my teepee and its close proximity to the bathroom. The washer and dryer worked very well. My only complaint is that there are no employees after 5PM. I got locked out of the front gate and it took me a long time to figure out how to get in. The locked gates are very bizarre to me. I have told others how great this place is and will be back for sure.

This is one of the best camping places we have been to. Hartwell lakeside KOA has excellent camping options. Great Lake views. Restrooms are clean. Kids play area. Dog park. Variety of sites to fit your camping preferences. The staff is really friendly and provide great service. We have camped here 3 times and always recommend to our friends and family. I would anytime come back and camp here.
