This is our second time stating there. The first time we stayed in the lots closets to 340. We enjoyed our stay and only wished there was more room to pull in and out. A little tight. This stay we were in the new section and loved everything. We will be booking that section again.

Although we loved the campground and people the cabin we stayed in really needed some updating. There were sections of the vinyl floor ripped up so we kept stubbing our toe, only one of the four ceiling lights worked, the toilet ran continually, the air conditioner kept shutting off and blew lukewarm air, and the ceiling fan made a horrible noise and wobbled so much we were afraid to use it.

Great place. Many extras for those spending time there and can just hang out and take advantage of their miniature golf, indoor basketball etc.

YOUR BEDS WERE WAY TOO SOFT NOT FIRM. VERY SMALL ROOM AT $160.00 AND WE WERE STEPPING OVER EACH OTHER-NOT MUCH FLOOR SPACE WITH 3 DOGS.

Our campsite had cigarette butts and screws all over in it and that was gross the bathroom door had dirt and muck all over at the bathroom smelled dirty and moldy and the toilet was disgusting. I expected more

The staff was friendly and helpful. The grounds are well kept and they are adding more patio sites. The only drawback I have is that the roads and many of the site entries are fairly tight when you have a 44' fifth wheel and tow vehicle. But the staff was very accommodating and made sure I had a site that I could drive right into without any problems. Kudos to them.

It’s in a residential neighborhood and felt more like sleeping in a parking lot than camping.

Before we pulled into our site we had to get out to close a door of some kind of utility box in order to get in. It rained in the night and the next morning and it was very muddy. The gravel site had mud puddles in them, were very close together and, being on a side hill, the water was running down the pavement with no place to walk. We were disappointed.

I always chose this campground, I enjoy it very much with no complaints. However this trip I was a little disappointed...my cabin hadn't been sweet out, had a lot of leaves and debri in it, my fire ring was full of wet logs & cinders and the fenced in dog area that I like to let my dogs run free in had so much dog poop all over it that I couldn't let my dogs use it,they had to just walk on a leash

HF is usually a great getaway for us. Unfortunately, this stay and the stay before was a little disappointing because the site was so muddy. Staff should know the condition of the site and either repair or block out from booking when in poor condition.

Staff is friendly and helpful. Love the area for hiking and cabin is always clean and well maintained. We have been visiting for several years and will be visiting again. Oh the new concrete pads are awesome.

I have stayed here twice in January, as a first stop on our way south. The full hook up spots for a large motorhome towing are good, and the staff is very nice. The site is interesting to walk around, with its old battlements still visible. There's a good restaurant in walking distance, and we saw lots of deer. I hope to come back, stay longer + visit some of the historical parks nearby.

I have to be honest I've stayed a few times and was always impressed . This time was unfortunately little different. Was suprised seeing mold in cabin front door between the panes when opened the blinds. as well as the smoke detector was missing one of the batteries, couple sheets had stains, picnic table was in bad shape. Great facility. Awesome cabin. Very friendly staff and "neighbors". Only con, ants. I understand we're in the wilderness but I chose a deluxe cabin with the hopes of avoiding bugs. The staff was apologetic and offered to come in and spray.

This is by far our favorite winter camping destination. This year we opted to get a KOA patio site and it was well worth the extra money for us on such a beautiful weekend.

Reception was friendly and kind. We stayed for a quick overnight in January, so we needed to make use of the shower facilities which were very clean and private. We didn't make use of the campground but the site was nice and level. I'm sure it would be a nice stay in the spring and summer.

We had a fabulous time! This was our first visit and we will definitely be back! We had an issue with water hook up but were accommodated with a new site. Very friendly staff! Thank you!!

We stayed in mid December. The only negative was some of the facilities were not available due to the water being turned off. We pretty much had the camp place to ourselves stayed in a cabin. It was nice. I do feel we should’ve gotten a discount for off-season

Stay there Friday Saturday morning. Very nice clean and well organized campsite. It was very peaceful and relaxing, We will be back.

Learned that we shouldn't have camped there till the warmer weather when they open the whole campground. All campers were in one location, close to road and local homes. I didn't enjoy my view of the locals homes that were less than 100 ft from our site. I was hoping to be in the wooded area . But service was great. Employees were friendly. I would go back when they open the whole facility.
