Pros- Camp Store had almost everything you need (or forgot), Pool was refreshing and clean, Coffee shop (delicious blended frappes), location to Harpers Ferry, river tubing, White Horse Tavern etc. Cons- Major ant infestation, dumpsters were consistently full and smelly, lots of flies, zero shade in the pull thru area-other sections are better **Not exactly Big Rig Friendly in the Pull thru are

Small and uneven places, rude staff, dirty restrooms, very noisy: quiet times were not respected at all. Hated it, I was glad when we left.

We arrived at deluxe camping and an employee drove down to us and recommended us switching out site to another open on to avoid the extreme heat and no shade at our site. He was very friendly and accommodating, and even drove the registration to see if the site we wanted was available. Kudos Jason! Everything was clean and accessible. The only downfall was the very close proximity of the sites.

So many ammendities!! ...all in great proximity of each other. Shuttle to the battliefields Park would be great! Pizza took forever, lack of staffing.

Horrible bathrooms. Rutted, messy gravel roads. Poor lighting. Lots of broken down recreational equipment, although of a wide variety. Inexpensive but poor quality breakfast available.

Loved the amenities, and the staff could not have been nicer, but for a newer site the fact that the furniture had Zip ties on it as repairs was interesting. The limited dumpster facilities did take away from our final days. The overflowing single dumpster in the main area was an eyesore as well as forcing us to walk to the other end of the park to dump trash in yet another full dumpster.

It was a very clean & nice campground with plenty of activities & friendly staff. The only downside was the pad site was a very tight squeeze for the size of our camper & vehicle.

Convenient location to Harper's Ferry National Park. The campground is well maintained and staff is very helpful.

Very accommodating. Our cabin was centrally located to all amenities. There were lots of activities offered. I highly recommend this KOA.

Every summer, around July 4th, I bring my thirteen grandchildren and any available parents to the Harpers Ferry KOA for a week of family fun. 2023 proved to be another wonderful summer adventure. There are plenty of activities both at the KOA and surrounding area to tire them out. We unwind in the evening with s'mores at the campfire. Good Job, KOA!!

Check in was seamless. Activity schedule was wonderful. Had issues with carpenter bees at our cabin. Maintenance person came right away to take care of it. Was pleasantly surprised to get a refund, when due to a medical emergency, we had to leave three days early. Such a beautiful property.

Everyone’s super nice everything was clean. The pool with great, pancakes were great butbcampsites were too tight. I felt like we were the only ones there without dogs. We were smack dab in the middle of dozens of dog owners with multiple dogs. They were unfortunately our untimely alarm clock in the morning. Is there a way to request a site that is not surrounded by dogs?

Positive: staff very courteous, polite and helpful. Many activities for children. Strong WiFi when park not full. Nice camp store. Negative: majority of sites not level. Sites too close together. Lots of weeds, uncut grass. Price very high given crowded, unlevel sites. There are not many options in the national capital region. Wish this one was in better shape.

Small site 30amp wasn't usable had get 50/30 adapter Lost water pressure 3 nights used my own tank and pump Was some noise after 10pm Events did go well but few campers showed up Tight navigating some areas vehicles parked on road edges didn't help.

We absolutely LOVED our stay. We were there for 5 days and had alot to do just at the campground. Everything was so clean and the staff were all very welcoming.

The lack of cell signal & internet connection is an issue for those of us that have to work while on the road. Otherwise this is a beautiful campground in a great location.

We enjoyed our stay there and met some nice people in the campground office and in the campground itself. It's very convenient to the National Historic Park and several small towns around that are worth visiting. Very nice amenities. Pancake breakfasts with option for baking sausage and eggs was very good.

The location is great, but the campground needs to replace their roads, take down the trees that are too close to the road and sand down the tree roots in the site that are dangerous for trips/falls. So much potential but no upgrades to infrastructure in years! Pricing considering that!

The sites are very hard to get in and out of, especially the ones that were specifically stated as "Big Rig" sites. There was 3 feet between our camper and the one next to us. Also, the camper next to me pumped sewage several times without monitoring it, which lead to a sewage smell the entire time. No local phone number to report this so I left a message.

Very nice stay over the 4th of July weekend. Our site was nicely shaded and fairly spacious compared to most. I would only ever want to be in the sites that are at the back of the campground by the trench. Otherwise it’s a fairly crowded and tight spaces. Disappointed in the park. Small campsite, very uneven pad, old bathrooms, and terrible roads to reach your site. Was surprised they didn't have a rule for children to wear helmets while riding bikes or scooters.

Stay there Friday Saturday morning. Very nice clean and well organized campsite. It was very peaceful and relaxing, We will be back.

Learned that we shouldn't have camped there till the warmer weather when they open the whole campground. All campers were in one location, close to road and local homes. I didn't enjoy my view of the locals homes that were less than 100 ft from our site. I was hoping to be in the wooded area . But service was great. Employees were friendly. I would go back when they open the whole facility.
