I dont think the rules were enforced. Loud until 2am, very few masks worn. Not enforced for trick or treat. Would recommend but not during holidays

Although we like the campground we were a little disappointed with the enforcement of the quiet hours. There was a large group, at least 4 sites that were very noisy from 10 pm to well past midnight 3 nights in a row. We have 4 grandchildren that were unable to get to sleep until the other campers finally stopped. We will not be returning especially on a busy weekend.

Very clean campground with great amenities. Easy to get to and easy access to visit Harpers Ferry. The only negative I have is that the sites are VERY close together. It was challenging pulling out when leaving due to the closeness of campers and having to cut corners. Other than that, great campground.

Wonderful as usual!!! Thank you!

Kinda bare to most KOA's. but nice people and everything went as planned.

My grandchildren and great grand children love the Halloween weekends. It is a safe way for them to trick or treat. We had a wonderful stay. All employees were helpful and courteous. See you next year, have already reserved our site. Thank you

Our campsite was not cleaned from the previous campers - cigarette butts everywhere, plastic bottle tops from kids bottles, dog poop from people not picking up from their dogs. KOA needs to take the time to clean the sites, level them with gravel & show they care. At 10pm the campers across from us were so loud, others asked them to be quiet but they continued til 12am. No KOA management came.

very relaxing

We have been going to the Harpers Ferry KOA for years during October. Even during a pandemic they did not disappoint. We love this KOA and will continue to return as long as they continue to take care of their customers like they have taken care of us over the years. The campground is in a beautiful area and is well maintained. The staff is friendly and the rates are affordable.

I am really disgusted about all the four wheelers everywhere. I don’t think they should be in a family campground. I think the playground needs to be totally replaced. I love this campground out of all the ones we go to. Please make these changes. Daniel E McGehee

great place! sites are a little small and tight but overall we had a great stay
Oct 14, 2020
Very nice campground overall and staff is very friendly and helpful. I do think the sites are too small and right on top of each other - more so than other campgrounds. Also, the roads are very narrow and some times difficult to maneuver when cars/trucks are parked on either side. We were in site 81 and our electricity was lost for a few hours. I would recommend either a second dumpster.

The only problem was after 10 one site did not have respect for the other guest who were trying to sleep. They were very noisy.

I've stayed at 4 different KOA's this year and while this is a nice campground, the service I've come to love at KOA's was severely lacking here. Generally we've had nothing but service with a smile at all KOA's from check in including site escort to check out with firewood delivery, happy and friendly drive by hello's, trash pickup...etc throughout the stay. NONE of that here. :-(

We loved the Halloween event (people were adhering to the distancing rules when it came to candy). We were disappointed that no one was available to answer the phone after hours when we called to complain about the noise at 11:30pm.

Very nice time except one camper not far from us who did not follow quite time hours and stayed up yelling and was extremely loud way into the early morning. One morning it was 2am before they stopped.

We had a great time.

Its always a treat to visit there. Only thing we have a problem with ,is you allowing 4 wheels in this camp ground. They are very noisy and go to fast, they don't belong in camp grounds. Just saying!!

I stayed and sleep well

I was very good until we tried rebooking for next year as usual, this time we were told we could not book the same site’s as we did prior to leaving in the past 5 or so years
Oct 13, 2020
The staff did not do a good job of managing the guests. Several sites had aggressive, rowdy guests that were throwing trash all over the street and being aggressive to guests that were not with them. Some site finally complained, the staff told them someone complained and they proceeded to go around to campsites yelling at people about complaining. It was uncomfortable! Bathrooms were filthy.

Always a great place to camp. People are very friendly and the facilities are amazing
Oct 13, 2020
sites are alittle close together and the activity fee is ridiculous
Oct 13, 2020
I had site 50 and the camper next to me was sitting right at my slide-out. I noticed quite a few sites that were way too close together. Even though we had the odd-shaped-concrete patio, it was not shaped to accommodate larger trailers. The campground is one of the few that doesn't have golf cart rentals. The WIFI was worthless but this occurs at many KOA campgrounds.

when we made the reservation we were given our rate which we we ok. when we arrived to check in they told us we had to pay and additional $10/person to cover a holloween party they were having. we have no children, we did not participate in this party but we had no choice. I think it is very unfair to charge someone for a party and never let us know proir to our arrival.

Had a great time

Had a great time. Everything was exactly how we expected it to be.

I was charged more then what was online from my original reservation, the campground did not enforce the quiet hours. It was ungodly loud with people partying all threw the night. Overall I do like the campground during our he day but this weekend was rough and not I’m the slightest bit enjoyable at night.

Sites are a little crowded and not super flat, but bathhouse was very clean, very friendly staff, great location, and easy reservation. Very family friendly environment, we will be back!

The tent sites aren’t great. It’s obvious the focus is more on the rv campers. I liked all of the amenities and the location was perfect for visiting the historic area.

I enjoy my stay. I'm a first time camper
Oct 12, 2020
Awesome stay as always!

We had a great time. But parking is horrible. And for trick or treating - it makes it difficult for the kids because the only place to park the trucks are in front of the trailers and you have a hard time seeing if anyone is even there. Then in our cabin - the bathroom sink was clogged when we got there.

Kampong lodge shower overflowed with normal usage. Wood rotting in bathroom. Thought i might fall through floor if i stood in wrong place. Dont do an online costume contest if your wifi cannot handle internet traffic. We couldnt even enter the contest due to poor wifi. Maybe have an employee with camera at safe distance to take contestant photos.

ONly had room for 3 nights, wish it could have been longer. Spot was OK....not that level, took a lot to level it and there were plenty of open spaces.....Lots to do and Harper's Ferry is beautiful as is Shepherd's Town. Very well run place. We stayed in a 37' motorhome towing a car. Would return!
