We use this KOA for overnighting while traveling between Western and Eastern NC. Great staff, easy access from I-40, and it has a nice little dog park.

Pool was closed for maintenance but it should have been listed better on the website. We went here because of the pool for my little ones cause they needed energy release on hot days. When asking about it the staff wasn't very considerate. Other alternatives could have been suggested. Then I was asked to move my campsite set up so they could move. It needed mowing before I got there.

The only downfall we saw in the camp was the host. She was rude and not friendly at all, as if she didn’t want to be bothered with people.

this is not your average KOA. The pool is small and not even open. Which was a real treat in 100° heat. The sites are small and tight. There was no cable hook up, no fire pit. The bathrooms were not updated and the bath house was small and not updated. This is definitely a campground I will not be back to. I cannot believe KOA has their name on this location.

It was 95 outside and the pool wasn’t open, showers were cold, the cabins had bugs in them, staff wasn’t overly pleasant so say the least. You can’t even reserve a certain camp site, i ask for an end site of a larger one so we could make a fire but they said you get what you get. And there were plenty of other site unoccupied. Just not what you would expect for a KOA

This place is a dump. My spouse and I call it Hoboville. Our spot 10 was awful, the ground was so unleveled. What annoyed me the most, the office closed early, no one would answer the phone. Grounds needed cutting, grass was high. If I could cancel my KOA rewards and get my money back I would. To sum it up, the place was a disgrace, I would rather park at Walmart than stay there.

Great location for a Greensboro/Highpoint baseball tournament. 20 minutes from most all fields. We enjoyed our stay!

Good stop-over KOA for visiting the local area and taking a break. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Restroom/bathhouse facility was very clean. The store had a good stock of basic rv supplies. Because it is close and convenient to the interstate you can hear traffic noise, which should be expected. Be sure to visit the Greensboro Science Center if you have a chance.

The lot is extremely un-level and right next to the freeway so it's very loud. Wendy the manager was very unprofessional and rude. We tried having a mattress delivered but the driver was turned away because she said a box truck is too loud yet the loud freeway noise and workers cutting down tree branches and grinding them I suppose isn't loud. The rate is very high as well and no ammenities.

Basically a clean KOA but the sites themselves could use some improvement and the pool was not filled at the beginning of June (being painted) and when I returned 2 weeks later the water did not look clear. Showers could use to be updated also, but they worked well. Good for a quick stop; however, there is a lot to see and do in the area.

Greensboro KOA was a nice campground for a limited stay or overnight. Close to the interstate and downtown. Friendly staff.

The pool was closed. The shelves in the store were sparse. Management is there from. 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. only. The dog that i saw in the store was allowed in the store because "they live there". As an overnite stay i felt very unwelcome. Maybe they treat the long term campers better.

Very disappointed that the pool wasn’t open. We drove from Wisconsin and the kids wanted to swim. The website needs to state if the pool isn’t open. This has happened to us before with KOAs. We are actually trying to avoid booking at KOAs

Site we're to, to close. The site on the right sewer pipe was right at the feet of our picnic table. The left side we could smell what ever they were smoking in the windows. Didn't matter what time of the very early morning and day. We've been in close sites before but this was the closest one ever. No we will not ever come back.

We were staying one night, traveling through, it was a good stop. Site was stone, level, full 50amp hook-up and easy on and off from the hwy.

Clean, spacious, and level sites. The lady that ran the campground went out of her way to make our stay pleasant. Nice campground that's not a great distance from home. We'll be visiting again, for sure.

This was our 2nd time staying at this campground, the staff is very welcoming and the grounds and sites are spacious. Very clean bathrooms also. I can't say enough wonderful things about this KOA Journey campgrounds

Only suggestion I have is maybe a couple more outlets in the cabin. Other than that I was not disappointed at all. Clean facilities and super nice staff!!! Showers where amazing, fabulous pressure with plenty of heat.

Nice hosts but the site was not level, the gravel needed replenishment, the freeway noise was ridiculous. Might as well boondocks at an interstate rest area.

Check in was easy, workers were friendly, site was just ok. There was a major water issue in the morning, mud was coming out of the spigot. Maybe a pipe broke somewhere? We called the office and no one answered. Machine said they wouldn’t be in until 10 am. That’s very late IMO for a campground office. We had mud all throughout our water system in our rig.

We were greeted by I think maybe the owners of the campground. They were very friendly. It's a small campground but very well kept.our sight was plenty big enough.so we had a drain problem. They actually brought us vinegar as we had bs. It worked. Very nice people.

To be completely honest when I looked at the reviews I was a bit hesitant to book to say the least. But let me tell you my fear were completely unjustified. The staff was amazing and super friendly my quiet kids even talked to them which is just a credit to the amazing staff! The girls loved the playground and the train. And the noise level was already quiet I would stay again in a heartbeat beat! My littlest one has an early bedtime and I was worried about noise but once again that was never an issue. And the selection to do stuff around the area was amazing! Please do not hesitate to book here. I never leave reviews but with the tons of bad reviews I felt it was necessary to see the good. Also 99% of the bad comments are before they switch management! And let me once again tell you that they are amazing 10/10 would recommend ❤️
