First Friday: Downtown Greensboro's Monthly Open House
Meet the Artist. Hear the Music. Dance with the people. First Friday is a FREE monthly self-guided walking tour that includes Downtown Greensboro's eclectic shops, art galleries, studios, museums, and alternative art venues. Participating stops stay open from 6-9pm on the First Friday of every month with free arts programming to showcase local artists, musicians and various other artistic endeavors. First Friday is a great way to get to know the local. Every month you will experience something different. Bring friends and family! You'll never know what you'll see next!Downtown Greensboro is home to many of the city's creative venues that include independent galleries, a “living art museum,” the area's leading regional theatres, the Cultural Center, and the area's largest concentration of locally owned shops offering specialty clothing, accessories, antiques and much more.
Greensboro Food truck Festival
Our 2020 Greensboro Food Truck Festivals will take place in downtown Greensboro on Sunday, April 26 and August 23 for our fifth year (ninth year of the event). Our 2019 events had 60 food trucks, NC craft beer, live music, craft vendors, kid's activities and artists.
From our four years at our current location we have been able to raise over $20,000 for our charities.
Annual NASCAR Day Festival
Considered the premier event celebrating the heritage of NASCAR legend Richard Petty and his family, the 28th Annual NASCAR Day Festival will cover a one-mile area of downtown Randleman. The event, held in conjunction with the Richard Petty Fan Club Convention at the Richard Petty Museum and Victory Junction Open House, includes vintage race car displays, food, craft and amusement vendors, games, and live music.
