It’s ok. The campground is very old. The site we were on was mainly weeds and not very well kept. The sewer connection was elevated and hard to empty piping. This campground needs to be refreshed.

Clean facilities, helpful staff! Our only issue was the sites are not really tent friendly. All sites as designated as multi use, which means gravel pull throughs. The grounds were clean (appeared as if some had been recently re-landscaped. ) And the staff we encountered were very kind and helpful. We didn’t use the on site store, but it appeared decently stocked. Pet friendly location.

It's such a well careed for campground. The staff is fantastic, always welcoming and helpful if there's a question about something. Our only issue is the noise from the highway close by is a bit much but they can't do anything about that. We've stayed there 3 times now.

The highway noise is hard to get used to. Had to sleep with cotton in my ears. The staff were nice. The bathrooms were okay, the floor was always wet. It was the only one in the area so they didn't have to offer any amenities. The laundry room was nice. The pool wasn't open but, it was hot and it would have been nice to have been able to have taken a dip in the pool.

The Greensboro KOA is a quaint spot. They do have a small pool and a pavillion with outdoor "yard" games and plenty of board games available. The tv, microwave and refridgerator were a plesant bonus to our rustic cabin we did not expect!! The location is close within 15 mins to lots of food, a botanical garden and a cute downtown area.

Nicely maintained campgrounds and amenities. The crew working the KOA were nice and friendly as well. I especially liked the K9 campground separated into 2 areas for large/small dogs if need be. More KOA’s should do that.

Greensboro KOA is the worst KOA we have ever stayed at. The noise from I40 is unbearable, our site was dirt, swimming pool water was green (not available for use), and the restrooms weren’t very clean. KOA should be ashamed to have their name affiliated with this horrible campground.

It is a very relaxing campground. More for middle age to older people. There is alot of highway noise. Route 40 is right there. Employees were very nice,clean bath houses. Mostly cater to over night stays.

This was an overnight stay for us. The campground was clean and the staff friendly. The K9 area was clean and was great to give the pup some off leash time. The highway noise was no problem…turned on the fan and the road noise disappeared.

The location was good for our overnight stop. Our site was narrower than we prefer and sloped making leveling a bit challenging. There was a trash bag sitting on the picnic table when we arrived. It was quieter than we expected given its proximity to the highway. The office staff was very friendly and helpful.

Sites tight together. Our site was missing the cap for the sewer connection which s/b considered a safety issue.

Check-in was easy and pleasant. However, the dumpster was overflowing and apparently had been that way for some time; the flies made it almost unapproachable. The tiny “dog park” was either locked or secured by a VERY difficult latch. We walked elsewhere, but why was that feature so difficult to use?

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

HI Lisa; We don't make the magnetic latches for the gates. I tell people they must pull very firmly. As for the dumpster we had been slower than normal and had cut back on trash service (keeping rates lower). We have upped our pickup schedule now that spring has definitely arrived.

Nice C G and nice people running it, but was disappointed that they charged me two different rates for two nights

Sorry you are disappointed about our rates we do offer a midweek discount to keep rates lower. We could have the same rate every night but then it would be more expensive. We think the majority of our campers that stay with us Sunday through Wednesday appreciate the lower rates.

The sites are very close and the hook ups were very difficult to reach since they were up front. The person at the front desk was very nice though.

Very clean. Well organized. Easy pull through sites. Utilities worked well and were maintained. Can't say enough about the staff, they were extremely helpful. This was our first RV trip. I don't remember the female staff member's name but she drove us to the site, showed us all the hookups and came by several times to see how we were doing. Thank you for helping us!

We had a great stay. I love the caboose on the property. nice short hiking trail through the trees. The bathroom was really clean. The office staff were very friendly.

The campground is easy to find off the highway. Check-in was quick. The site was a bit narrow for my rig, but it worked. The length was good. The shower/bathrooms were clean. There was sufficient space between the sites, which was extremely level. Overall, very happy with the 2-night stay.

This was a one night in and out stay. Nice people at check-in, led us to our spot and helped us get spotted. Easy access from and to the interstate. Grounds are next to the highway, but even with all of the traffic, it was quiet and we slept well. Would stay here again.

To be quite honest with you, the sites are way too small, the view of a highway and listening to trucks and cars go by throughout the night is terrible, the gift shop and Office doesn’t open until 11 am, this is ridiculous. Most people leave by 10 am and may require the assistance of management. You ask how likely am I to return the probability? is that realistically, I’d rather stay in a Walm

We were greeted by I think maybe the owners of the campground. They were very friendly. It's a small campground but very well kept.our sight was plenty big enough.so we had a drain problem. They actually brought us vinegar as we had bs. It worked. Very nice people.

To be completely honest when I looked at the reviews I was a bit hesitant to book to say the least. But let me tell you my fear were completely unjustified. The staff was amazing and super friendly my quiet kids even talked to them which is just a credit to the amazing staff! The girls loved the playground and the train. And the noise level was already quiet I would stay again in a heartbeat beat! My littlest one has an early bedtime and I was worried about noise but once again that was never an issue. And the selection to do stuff around the area was amazing! Please do not hesitate to book here. I never leave reviews but with the tons of bad reviews I felt it was necessary to see the good. Also 99% of the bad comments are before they switch management! And let me once again tell you that they are amazing 10/10 would recommend ❤️
