Once you have visited our little town of Grayville with our small town feel, we are a hop, skip, and a jump away from other major attractions. We are less than an hour from Evansville, IN - there are many places to visit in the city and return to the old west to relax. Even closer is New Harmony, IN, a quaint historic town. We are also 2 1/2 hours from St. Louis, MO and 3 hours from Louisville, KY.
New Harmony, Indiana is located on the banks of the Wabash River with a rich history. It was started as a utopian community and has something for everyone. There are many festivals and activities throughout the year involving music, drawing, painting, paranormal, art, Kunstfest, Christmas, etc.
LST-325 was commissioned on February 1, 1943. She served in the European Theater and was part of the invasion forces at Sicily; Salerno, Italy; as well as Normandy, France for D-Day and beyond. There were 171 US LSTs during that operation. The LST-325 is the ONLY WWII-configured landing ship, tank still in operation. This historical ship relies on private donations and hundreds of thousands of volunteer hours to function. ** pulled from https://lstmemorial.org/

Home to the Evansville Otters of the Independent Frontier League, Bosse Field opened in 1915 and was the first municipally owned sports facility in the United States. Only Boston's Fenway Park (1912) and Chicago's Wrigley Field (1914) are older than Evansville's Bosse Field. It is the site for the filming of "A League of Their Own" in 1992. Whether you're a sports fan or a history buff, this 100-year-old structure for America's favorite pastime is a must see! *pulled from https://www.visitevansville.com/attractions/bosse-field
