We stayed in site 66 in our fifth wheel.. The site was level and easy in and out. Lots of trees but not close enough to be an issue with the slides. The laundry room was clean and all the machines were working well. Bathrooms were clean. They picked up your trash every morning. Did not use the pool. Owner and staff were very friendly and would stay there again.

I rated it a 4 because of the unpaved roads. Some parts had crushed rock that hurt my dog's feet a little. Otherwise the park was great. The showers and bathroom were clean and well maintained. The staff was excellent and went out of their way to be helpful.

The campground and location were great. Sorry about all the ice storm damage. I’m glad so many trees survived. Having the trash picked up is really nice. The pool was chilly but nice. My dogs would love more grass. It was quiet and a lot of relaxing. The people we met were really nice. Handicapped shower I notice these things. You couldn’t get a wheelchair and helper in there. We had a very pleasurable time once again. Been staying here for the last eight or nine years every August and have never been disappointed. The new staff has been extremely friendly and helpful and there was absolutely nothing that could be improved upon in my opinion. Our site was spacious and are hookups were excellent including the new water connection facility that was in our site.

The KOA was a great time. The spots were large and level. The staff were wonderful. Couldn’t ask for a better staff. It hadn’t rained in a while so it was very dusty from the dirt on the roads.

Every employee we encountered was friendly and helpful. The pull thru site was plenty long enough for our truck and 32 ft. trailer. The only down side is, it would be nice if they could pave the roadways throughout the park. As dry as it was, there was constant dust being blown around covering everything.

Gaylord KOA was amazing!!! The staff was even better! My family had an amazing time!! Loved the carnival!! So much for all the do! The only thing that we ding you on was the dusty roads. Great place!!!

We had a very nice spot. We did not use any of the amenities. Only complaint I have is there was not a fire pit at my site. I do love my fire at night. They told me I could check up front and get a fire pit to take to my site but I never saw one. No marshmallows for me.

Restrooms and laundry room nice and clean, pool and jump pad cool. The water spigots need to be straightened. Fire pits way too small. Lots are small, luckily nobody was next to us. If it were fully booked it would feel like a parking lot. Seems like a lot of money for a tiny site in my opinion. Ok place for a night maybe two but wouldn’t plan my whole week here.

We chose the Gaylord KOA for our family reunion as it was the 1/2 way point for Upper and Lower Peninsula family.. I have camped at KOAs for over 40 years.you can always trust the KOA to have high standards in cleanliness, fun activities for kids with themed weekends. We were lucky enough for Bigfoot! The staff in Gaylord were exceptional! Very courteous and so helpful. Will definitely come again

We enjoyed the campground. There were lots of activities for the kids. The coordinators were very friendly and seemed to enjoy being there. Only thing I can say is that the pool was very cold perhaps the heater wasn’t working during our stay this limited our use of the pool.

We had reservation at nearby state park which turned out to be unpleasant. I called KOA and was fortunate to get a site for that night. The park was pleasant, quiet, clean and friendly. Definitely I’d go again!

Friendly staff all around. We come here once/year from out of state to ride around Northern Michigan on the motorcycle. There is plenty of space between the sites. They have a nice laundry room next to the pool. We didn't use the pool but a lot of people did while we were there and they seemed to be enjoying it. It's a great place to stay for one night or fourteen nights.

Our week in Gaylord was amazing! Probably the best camping experience we’ve ever had! The staff was super friendly and helpful. The campground was immaculate and bathrooms/shower room sparkling clean. Loved the laundry room as well. Very user friendly. The pool and mini golf were a huge hit for our 12 yr old daughter. She also LOVED the wagon ride the night before we left. Absolutely no complain

Staff was friendly. Campground offers lots of activities for families. The campground is conveniently located between Gaylord and Grayling. Only suggestion would be to treat gravel roads for dust control.

I noticed there is no hi-rise toilets, even in the handicapped stall. I assume that was a choice, but folks are getting taller. Other than that, the staff were great. It’s one reason we stay here.

We were put on a very small site for the size of our camper & the park was mostly empty. There were larger sites that were larger in the same row we were in. The park is being neglected. Fencing broken, cabins & picnic tables in dire need of sealing. We were very dissappointed since these are fairly new owners. Zero improvements that we could see. Even the grass & weeds were long! Very expensive!

It’s a very nice and wooded campground with lots of great pull through sites (my favorite because I’m terrible backing up). The staff is terrific and friendly. It’s great for the kids with the pool and other areas to play in. You get that “up north” feel right a way. It was a very relaxing couples camping for my wife and I. The camp store is awesome and we love the mini golf.

I went up with a buddy we rode our motorcycles from Cincinnati and stayed in a deluxe cabin. I can't say enough this place is awesome

Gorgeous campgrounds that is extremely well maintained. We had a full hook up site that was level and quite large with a fire pit, picnic table and nice shading. Lovely building off of pool with very clean laundry room washroom/showers and lounging area. Staff are very friendly and can be seen throughout the day doing maintenance and available to assist campers. The store has a nice variety of items: food, beverages, clothes, games, toys... even fun items for your furry friend. Nice walking/biking trails, miniature golf, basketball hoops, bike rentals, K-9 run... Top marks for this beautiful KOA.

We have been here about three times and enjoy it every time. We always go in the fall and rent a simple cabin with our kids and dog. Bathrooms are always clean, staff is friendly and the camp store has all kinds of great things in it! They have themed weekends all year i think. We always participate in Fall-o-ween. I recommend!!
