Staff was very helpful and friendly. Campground was well taken care of. The only downside was the sketchy internet service. Kept getting errors that we could not connect to access point.

We have been coming to the Gaylord KOA for years. The people are amazing and so accommodating. They know what being with family is all about...making amazing memories! They have something for everyone, even us big kids!

My stay was good. The only negative thing was the bathrooms are closed for 3 hrs for cleaning (from 11am to 2pm). That is a long time when you don't have another bathroom option on site. Another opportunity for improvement would be to add a partition wall between the 2 urinals in the men's bathroom.

Needs to cleaned, grass trimmed exposed wires that are a tripping hazard possible electrocution. Use marijuana around kids in a campground. This IS private property, you CAN ban the use.

We used the Gaylord KOA for an overnight while traveling back home. We didn’t get the chance to use all of their amenities. Cable was good and had it not rained we would’ve gone swimming in the pool. Staff was very helpful and courteous.

While only over night, I didn’t understand having to change to a more expensive site, because they didn’t allow step down connections from 50 to 30 amp. Why does it bother them, I would have been the one negatively impacted.

We had a tire blow out on our camper. The people who checked us in were very helpful in recommending a place for us to get it fixed the next day. They could not have been nicer.

We had one night stops to and fro other locations. The campground itself is just lovely. Nice size sites. Water at each site was a surprise bonus. Good shade with the numerous trees. Very welcoming staff. Probably one of the best KOA's I have stayed at.

The Gaylord KOA has the cleanest and nicest bathrooms and showers we have ever seen at any of the KOA locations we have visited.

The staff at Gaylord KOA was friendly and professional. We stayed there twice. 6//27-6/30 and 7/7-7/9. The facilities and site were exceptionally clean. They even accommodated us with a propane fill prior to their opening. It is a great place use a a base camp for exploring the beautiful scenery. Thank you.

Pro: Wonderful friendly people Clean cabins (4 years ago with previous owners - super dirty) Cons: Advertised queen bed - it's NOT its a full size - 2 six foot people didn't work Tall grass on friends camp sites

Best KOA I have ever been to! Everyone at the KOA were so nice and helpful. So many fun activities for the kids. We had an amazing camping trip at this KOA in Gaylord.

We were looking for a new place to start a 4th of July tradition as a family and honestly this was like the only one in Michigan that had availability at the time. We are so glad we found it. We loved it so much. My son had so much fun. So pet and kid friendly. I loved the fact that it had a dog park. So much to do here. We made new friends and the staff was great. See you guys Halloween.

The stay was good, but are sight was TERRABLE it was all tree root bumps kept tripping over , and sticky sap from the tree above was annoying , maybe a different spot next time thank you.

The only thing we had a problem with was that you did not have cable for the TV. We could not get any stations. Loved the camp ground but, my husband falls asleep with the TV on. The other thing was we couldn't get any local stations in case of storms or whatever. But again we loved the camp ground and the many things to do.

Everyone was so nice and helpful. It was very clean, quiet and comfortable. Lots of fun stuff for kids and adults. We would definitely stay with them again! are hoping to go back again soon

I went up with a buddy we rode our motorcycles from Cincinnati and stayed in a deluxe cabin. I can't say enough this place is awesome

Gorgeous campgrounds that is extremely well maintained. We had a full hook up site that was level and quite large with a fire pit, picnic table and nice shading. Lovely building off of pool with very clean laundry room washroom/showers and lounging area. Staff are very friendly and can be seen throughout the day doing maintenance and available to assist campers. The store has a nice variety of items: food, beverages, clothes, games, toys... even fun items for your furry friend. Nice walking/biking trails, miniature golf, basketball hoops, bike rentals, K-9 run... Top marks for this beautiful KOA.

We have been here about three times and enjoy it every time. We always go in the fall and rent a simple cabin with our kids and dog. Bathrooms are always clean, staff is friendly and the camp store has all kinds of great things in it! They have themed weekends all year i think. We always participate in Fall-o-ween. I recommend!!
