We stayed there on our way home from vacation for one night. It’s a cozy campground with amenities. Can’t rate the pool as it was closed. Stayed late in September. The campground is very dated and could use some upgrades if you are used to a more modern park. The staff were very pleasant and the site we stayed on had a concrete pad with awesome picnic table and swinging seat. Brand new bbq.

We stayed at the KOA at Gaylord Michigan over there fall celebration weekend. It was an amazing, fun weekend for all four of us adults and our grandson. There was never a dull moment. Or activities for all ages, food, truck, campsite, decorating, trick-or-treating, Halloween costume, judging, donuts, and apple cider, etc. the list goes on. We will definitely be back for the fall Halloween weekend

Was very impressed by every aspect. Everyone was super friendly and the facilities were the cleanest I have ever seen in a campground. Would recommend new fire rings and the timber railings on the path to the bathhouse are in need of repair/replacing.

We have been coming here for years and it just gets better and better every year. The staff is TOP NOTCH. They know what making family memories is all about.

This was our first time camping at a KOA in our small travel trailer. The Gaylord, MI campground was neat and clean. Staff was awesome--courteous, helpful, and a pleasure to interact with. We appreciated the multitude of amenities available that state parks do not offer and look forward to returning during another camping season!

Halloween weekend. I think a dance for the kids in costume after trick or treating would have been fun for them. And fun to watch.

Site 69, quiet, clean, plenty of shade trees. 30 foot bumper pull with Chev. Colorado puller fit easily. Friendly staff.

Lovely wooded camp sites, wide gravel pads. Restrooms were clean and updated. We arrived late and our site info was waiting for us. With a short overnight we had little contact with staff but the person who took our reservation was very helpful.

We like this koa and have stayed here before. It wasn’t the best weekend due to all the rain but that couldn’t be helped. Our site was mostly dirt so not fun with tracking dirt from the dog and adults. Staff was awesome, very upbeat and we will return.

Our experience at Gaylord KOA was outstanding from speedy and helpful communication to camping spot and amenities. We highly recommend this campground and hope to return.

Nice, very quiet campground. Conveniently located, 10 minutes or so to downtown Gaylord. Restroom was impeccably clean. Really good wi-fi/internet. The beer and wine tasting on Friday evening was an unexpected bonus. Super nice people running the campground.

The staff went to great lengths to create fun programming…we had a great time! There are lots of quiet, serene trails to walk/hike right off the campground. The campgrounds were very clean. Way to go, Gaylord KOA! �ϋ�����

Love the new cabins, wish they had more of this type! Everything you need and love the pavers that walk out to your own firepit! Campsites are clean, well maintained, wooded, beautiful. Staff could not be any nicer and very accommodating to our family! Thank you!

We came in late, found our map and went to our space, hooked up quickly and quietly znd slept well.only wished checkout was noon Lo ely man answered my question about the nw KOA. Will include it on our next trip. We love family owed KOAs.

The site was the largest we have stayed on and we loved it! The park was so quiet but many campers and we loved the fact that there was an ice cream social, hot dogs and continental breakfast. We even played 18 holes of mini golf! We will definitely recommend this KOA to others.

We come up to the Gaylord KOA every Labor Day weekend and this you was better than ever. The people who are running the activities at the campground really care that everyone has a great time, and they are so engaged. This is a clean well kept campground, lots of activities, and such a wonderful atmosphere. Can wait to come back next year.

Fantastic campground! Stayed in the new deluxe cabins and it was perfect! We’ve stayed in the rustic cabins prior and let’s just say we found our new cabin. My family of 6 plus dog (cocker) had plenty of space to spread out. Campground had a lot of activities to keep everyone busy and having fun. Staff was really friendly and always helpful!

I went up with a buddy we rode our motorcycles from Cincinnati and stayed in a deluxe cabin. I can't say enough this place is awesome

Gorgeous campgrounds that is extremely well maintained. We had a full hook up site that was level and quite large with a fire pit, picnic table and nice shading. Lovely building off of pool with very clean laundry room washroom/showers and lounging area. Staff are very friendly and can be seen throughout the day doing maintenance and available to assist campers. The store has a nice variety of items: food, beverages, clothes, games, toys... even fun items for your furry friend. Nice walking/biking trails, miniature golf, basketball hoops, bike rentals, K-9 run... Top marks for this beautiful KOA.

We have been here about three times and enjoy it every time. We always go in the fall and rent a simple cabin with our kids and dog. Bathrooms are always clean, staff is friendly and the camp store has all kinds of great things in it! They have themed weekends all year i think. We always participate in Fall-o-ween. I recommend!!
