Nice clean place to stay, and great location for ATV/SXS riding. Only comment is that the RV campsite we stayed in the sewage connection was in an odd location and not close to the electric & water. This appeared to be only in the section of the park that we stayed in, other areas when going for a walk seemed normal.

Everyone at Fort McCoy KOA was great! We had lots of questions and no one got annoyed with us, LOL It was so nice to have the Ocala Forest trail head on property, we took our 4 wheelers and rode most of the day. The campground grounds are amazing, great views, kept nice and they have a couple hiking trails on site!! We've already booked our next stay here!

This was more like a trailer park. Most sites are not numbered so it was hard to find the laundry which we desperately needed after ten weeks on the road. The water hookup leaked badly and the park opted for fixing it after we left.

This area has so much potential. That being said, the grass is too high and the area isn't maintained too well. The one park person I met was very nice. Never received a park map, and I still couldn't say where the office and bathhouses are located. Disappointed this carries the KOA branding.

Extremely disappointing. No clear signs to find the office, once we find it it was quiet a distance walking to get there. There was a resident with music so loud that we cannot hear the staff, the wi-fi was not working and they did not tell us, they told us to pick any site we wanted, as soon as we picked, they told us we need to pick another one as that one floated. The 2nd one we picked did not

Well the park itself is beautiful, But the accommodations aren't up to par the lot they put us on the grass was knee high, The camp store has nothing tried to get sugar but they had none.did not really have much of anything in the store

The campground is rustic. Most all sites are grass - not even gravel. There are ants everywhere on the ground and they got into the RV a bit. The pool is big; could have used a good cleaning though. Bathrooms and laundry facilities were clean and nice. The campground is selling lots and they are fencing off the sold ones. Not sure we'll go back again.

We had a nice we time on our three day camping trip . The clubhouse and pool could use some TLC , The staff were friendly and the grounds were well maintained . I would definitely return .

I got there Late because it was so far off I 75. Looked like a great campsite for those on the water circuit. Lake looked exciting, but campsite wasn t. Bath house Blocks away from campsite, Security guard was all screwed up with placement. No paperwork with wifi or anything else. Forsyth was a better camp spot, I ll keep trying

This KAO offers the amenities as described. We were thankful for the pool and cool breeze at night given it was a very hot weekend. It's an ATV area and well off the beaten path so do not expect a lot of family friendly activities or restaurants nearby.

The people are great! Staff very friendly and helpful. Great location. ATV, hiking and beautiful lake. Unfortunately the place has SO much potential but sites aren’t level, need site work, power has issues, internet was out and the sewer at site was backed up. We come for location but park needs work. It could be the most amazing park in Ocala, so many cool things could be done.

Perfect location at the trailhead to ride SXSs and ATVs. Pool was great. Bathrooms and laundry were clean. Small camp store available. Wish the campground had more shade, but otherwise it was a great stay.

It was nice and quiet but we were forced to stay in the sun when there were flat sites right behind us in the shade was the biggest disappointment. We ended up hiding in the camper because of the heat. The recreation room could use some updating as well as the beach, a little cleaning. We did not even see a sign on how to play pool, where to get the pool cues...but happy there was security!

Poor water pressure at 8psi, intermittent power, dirty pool, no activities and obnoxious residents that do not want strangers there. Sites are overgrown and not maintained. After one night at site 78 my RV was infested with ants due to way overgrown grass. This place is way over priced, NEVER AGAIN!!!!

We hard a terrible stay. We were told it had beach access but could not use it. The grounds were unkept and terribly dirty from other past campers. Bathroom toiletries on our site and adjacent ones. No picnic Table or fire ring. When we arrived at 4:05 we were told KOA was already closed. We were told by security to go to a site that was not what we wanted and was told we had no choice. Way more.

We had never stayed at K.O.A. Ft. Mc Coy before. It was a great place to ride buggy's. They set us up in the shade camper's door facing one another. the third camper as close as possible to us with the door facing us also. we had a great time and the staff was great.

It’s a beautiful place with a gorgeous view. The only thing that could improve would be mowing the grass it was about a foot high luckily we had an outdoor rug to put over it and also stock ant spray seeing they are everywhere. We had to go to town to get it.

It’s a beautiful quiet place. I had a short stay, but will return. Come stocked with what you need, closest store is 40 min drive.

We love KOA's, but this one definitely misses the mark. Not sure how this campground is a KOA. The sites are extremely off-level and the sewer hook-ups are merely holes in the ground that you can't hook up to. Previous guests had made their own fires on the ground with no rings and burned garbage and left it. Hiking trails were closed and it was quite noisy with the ATV's running around.

Spent a few days of peace and quiet enjoying the view of the lake on site 350. The rest of the park and facilities were poorly maintained and not up to KOA standards. Would have been nice to enjoy the pool but cloudy blueish green water is unacceptable.

We brought our camper had a nice stay. Water, electricity & sewer, all easy to hook up and work well. Staff were very nice & helpful. This was our 2nd or 3rd stay. Will definitely be back soon.

4 months of bliss. The staff was terrific the resort is clean and well maintained. The laundry and showers were kept immaculate. I can’t wait for winter so I can go back.

The campsites are so unlevel it took me three hours to set up my class a motorhome. Ultimately a permanent resident was nice enough to lend me leveling blocks so that I could get additional stroke on my automatic levelers. The power pole was broken and unsafe. I have pictures, there were multiple broken power poles in the same condition. I was offered no discount for my trouble. Not likely return.

Campground is not maintained. Mostly full-time residents. WiFi does not work. I paid $85.00 per night for a concrete pad. I feel that it was overpriced. Water pressure is very low. Staff is not accommodating. Had to make a special trip to find out the WiFi password only to be told it does not work. Maintenance guy was very nice. This KOA is NOT up to KOA standards. Never Again.

The original layout of the campground, the club house, restrooms, showers and pool are very nice. The landscaping and ground maintenance needs help. The weeds are so high around the water, electric and sewer at the sites. This KOA needs to invest in picnic tables and fire rings for EACH site as advertised. The campsites need to be grated because of multiple fire pit holes all over the sites.

Staff was very helpful. Out of the way stop but well worth it. Fishing, walking & ATV trails are the top activities. Clean laundry and bathroom facilities
