I very disappointed that you indicated Wi-Fi but in reality it was beyond poor. No streaming. We were supposed to stay for 4 days. We only stayed 1 night. I did request some refund for the extra days and was told no. I would have to have made that decision in the first half hour we were there. That's ridiculous.

Beau sentier vers le lac. Dommage qu'il n'y est pas de descente de bateau on aurait faire du kayak

Site 350 is awesome we tried booking again but it was not available so we booked a couple of premium sites and are having other family members join us as well,so we already have a referral guest lol. Negative is both the bathrooms need to be fixed asap. The first stall door in the club house still is not fixed from 2 months ago when we met the sxs group for a day ride. 2 not working in main b

Campsites were on a first come basis and where we camped there were no actual numbers. The "Beach" is greatly over sold but the pool is well maintained. Nice large community building. Front office staff were friendly and helpful. This is a large ATV-dirt bike community it can get loud at times but for the most part they are respectful to the quiet hours. We would stay here again. Verizon is 5G.

TOILETS WERE OUT OF ORDER ,SHOWER HEADS FELL ON ME TWICE TAKING A SHOWER THEY HAVE NEEDED REPLACED FOR YEARS! GRASS NEEDED MOWING WEEDS WERE VERY HIGH AROUND ELECTRIC AND SEWER TREES NEEDED TRIMMING. YOU ARE CALLING IT A RESORT AND CHARGING LIKE ONE , A LITTLE MAINTENANCE GOES A LONG WAY

We were guided to the wrong site and were asked to move after we backed in. Their wi-fi had gone down the week before we arrived but cell service was okay. Facilities were clean and the site was quiet.

Very remote and beautiful location,I will come back. The negatives really are not big, just neglect but definitely took away the quality expected at a KOA. The garbage dumpsters ALL had rusted out bottoms , animals are around them ripping the bags open. Also very few fire rings,so people put their pit in a new spot all over. Be careful watch your tires I found nails everywhere from pallets burnt.

If you’re into ATVing this KOA is probably right up your alley! Other than that, not many amenities- could use some updating. Most of the toilets were broken. Staff was nice and the security guy was very helpful.

This campground is set up for those living there full time. Private permanent gates and storage units on the lots. Zero views of the lake. Absolutely no beach as advertised. Over 200 lots, only one bath house. Multiple empty lots, yet we are placed next to a “cabin” used as a model home which they are wanting people to purchase and place on the lots as permanent homes. No tree for shade.

Pros Location of this KOA is great. The place looked taken care of and clean. They were flexible to accommodate our power needs. Cons We stayed 2 nights after spending a week off grid in the woods. There was no hot water to shower and the laundry room was officially closed which was incredibly disappointing.

Staff was OK. The security guard was exceptionally helpful and pleasant. The ant problem is real and there are improvements needed around the facility. I understand the nature of the campground and they serve that well even though we are not off roaders.

Ant invasion. I mean all through the RV. Was told where I could purchase products to help. Oh yeah, and said the ants won’t go with you when you leave ??? Firewood $12 and so wet it would not burn. Be prepared with lots of blocks. A lot of uneven sights. Pool open, unheated and had a lot of bugs and leaves. Advertise free Wi Fi but forgot to mention only available in very select areas.

Positives; if you love being deep in the forest and are into off road (ATV, dirt bike,,etc) you’ll love this KOA. Clean laundry room, large pool. Office staff pleasant. Negatives; un level lots, poor water pressure, lots of sand with ants, no beach/workout room as advertised, mixture of lot owners who speak negatively of KOA. Booked for 14 days but changed to 4 upon dealing with these negatives

Nice site 350 (privately owned). Nice pool however dirty and only eight chairs in an area that could facilitate around 100 guests. Ran out if LP so cold showers and no laundry (laundry facility was nice). Nothing to do unless you have a ATV. Very far from any food, fuel, etc.

Ground was very uneven for leveling our RV. Otherwise, very nice.

This was our 4th KOA site. If it had been the 1st, we never would have done a 2nd. They seem more concerned about selling and leasing their sites than maintaining the place. At our site, the handle was gone from the water valve, and the sewer cap was glued in, requiring part of the PVC pipe to be pulled from the dirt to use. Men’s toilet seat laying on flows, the other door pulled away from wall

My mom always told me, if you can’t say anything nice, don’t say anything at all. If you want to camp in the middle of nowhere by a lake you can barely get to, this is it. 4 runners and dune buggies abound. The FREE WIFI was spotty at best if not non- existent. Other than Chris and the cleaning ladies, the staff was not very friendly or accommodating. Check the cancellation policy clos

We enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere of the area. Sites were clean and neat. If you like to ATV and fish a great place to visit. The pool is huge.

Enjoy your stay here if you love being bombarded by cigarette butts, ticks and red ants at your campsite. Don’t bother cooking because there aren’t any grills or fire pits either. We had an awful experience and requested a refund and cancellation of our second night to no avail. We took the loss and left.

All we did was spend all day everyday killing ants that took over our motorhome. Ants all over the floor, in the overhead cabinets and even in all the boxes of crackers…..that is in the cellophane wrappers. How they got in there is unbelievable. Had to throw out all the cereal boxes which were full of ants. Unbelievable experience!! The other problem was when we arrived 8pm no one knew anything

This makes about 4 times we have camped here and will do so again. Just need to watch out for the ants.

Amazing place to stay. It is out in the middle of nowhere. The lake is beautiful. They offer lots of activities. Bathroom and showers were great. Laundry room was good. The KOA staff were great. Our site was great for what we needed. Great Kampground

We liked the stay. I would let people know that the sites are not level and may require extra leveling gear.

Wonderful camping location.

We really like it there and hope next year come back and meant a lot of nice people and made new friends

Arrived @ 5:30, office closed @ 4. No info on door about reservation, most parks do this. Called #, spoke to fake human w/ no info. Night security finally came, said we could go anywhere w/ gray power box. They all looked brown. Reserved pull thru, full hookup w/ 30/20amp. He said they didn't have pull thru, put us in a dbl spot. Only had 30 amp. No gravel, just dirt, ground very unlevel. Terrible

We stay at KOAs because they advertise tv and internet. Ft. McCoy KOA had no TV and internet sucked. Some of the sand roadways in the camp need some smoothing out. Laundry and bath facilities were very clean. Staff we encountered were very friendly.

Out away from other things . It was very noisy..
Mar 10, 2024
The campground was very clean and so was the super house, bathrooms and laundry mat. The only thing that needs to be addressed is the electric boxes ( where you plug in your camper) I was shocked when I plugged up my camper.

People are great, ants not so much. Pool is also great.

Ft McCoy is a true definition of a campground. Maintained and semi accessible. The road in front of our spot, was loose sand to the right and a big dip to the left. Had to back out to the hard top. Going forward in a 40 ft bus would not have gone well.

Nice office staff. Quiet place when off road vehicles not running, Not very attentive for repairs of bathrooms, burned out street lights, or having quiet time enforced. Do not stay in trees as there are 3 squirrels per tree, caused $1000 damage to wiring in truck. Nice hiking trails without atv's.

Absolutely awful. no wifi even though it's stated on website Broken glass on site. We cleaned it up ourselves after waiting for staff The site we got had a broken plug for electricity We had a infestation of ants!! Our brand new trailer was covered with ants inside unbelievable We decided to leave due to the ants 2 weeks early from our booking. I mentioned to office person why we were lea

Herding cats is the closest comparison I can come up with... We are full-time in our RV and just completed our first round trip of the lower 48 and this is not the worst campground we have stayed in, but, it is the worst KOA. Hookups, power, sewer, and water hookups are in desperate need of repair. A level -/+ site is like finding hens' teeth. No site assignment, just go find a site yourself...

Quiet and peaceful

Extremely remote, but very quiet with large sites.

What a great, out of the way place to camp. Located beside a lake, there was always a nice breeze blowing. Campsites are very large and are all pull-through, which is a nice option. Bathhouse/clubhouse is very nice and the restrooms are clean. Staff is very friendly. It's not your typical KOA, as everything is very laid back, probably because it is located in the middle of nowhere. It's one of those places where you go if all you want to do is camp and relax. They do have activities for children in the morning.
