When we got there the store was closed. We went to our site and it was a ditch to park in and some area around and above were for the tent. Well KOA does not know what flat tent areas look like. No way we could put a tent on this site. We couldn't move because the store was closed. We then got out of the truck and the smell was like being in a stock yard. No way to camp there, we left for a m

It was a short stay, but I remembered this place from when I passed through a year ago. Lovely campground! Bathrooms were super clean. My site was nice and quiet and I slept well.

Friendly Staff and a clean well taken care of campsite. The facilities were nice and I felt like I had everything I needed. I'd like to give special recognition to a man named Tim who helped me jump my car when my car battery died and even let me charge the battery over night. He refused a tip, saying that is just how they take care of their guests. Couldn't be happier. Thank you Tim!

Great stay. Just spent the night and took a shower. Really wanted in the pool but time did not allow but looked amazing. Unfortunately I left my jacket in the shower and did not realize until 700 miles later.

The amenities were great, and so were the staff, but my friends and I had a hard time camping with our tent because of the strong smell of cow poop… I could see how an RV would be fine but sleeping basically outdoors with the smell was very hard to do.

We had a very nice stay at KOA/ Wellington ,CO. It was very clean and the staff was very friendly. We celebrated Christmas in July with our family and KOA had great accommodations for that, as we weren't sure if the weather would cooperate. The pool was clean and refreshing. Great activities for the kids. Beautiful sunsets! Some flies but that is to be expected when camping.

When a booking mishap (on my end) caused my booking to not be available at this location, they made a way for it to work and saved me a ton of time and effort to try and find another location. Excellent staff and first rate location. Thank you for everything that you did for me! Jim Ure

Great amenities—activities for kids, pool, kamper kitchen. Clean bathrooms, showers, and laundry room. They were kind enough to keep the pool open a bit longer because we got in just before it was due to close and were leaving early in the morning. Fantastic stay! Thank you!

We stayed at several KOA’s prior to landing at Wellington KOA. This location is not tent camping friendly… our site consisted of a partially gravel driveway and the noise of a sump pump off to the side. Office had no A/C … staff members were NOT helpful …. Bathrooms/showers were not clean to the point we just got up and left next morning!! This KOA has potential.. if managed right and c

The tent site was unusable due to mosquito infestation. Upon arrival, when exiting vehicle to set up tent, was instantly swarmed and bitten by mosquitoes. A few would be normal for any campground - the volume was extreme. Was not possible to set up tent nor go to bathroom facilities without being attacked.

Everything was great except the fact there were a lot of empty sites but I was put right beside another camper. No trees and tons of ants and mosquitoes. The hosts were all very friendly and the facilities were clean.

We arrived after hours and our packet and tent site were both easy to find. Showers and bathroom facility was easy to find, clean, and plenty large enough. Overnight was quiet. We would definitely stay here again!

The staff was friendly and helpful. They recommended country drives that I didn’t know about and I’m a local. The kampground was clean, well-tended, and easily navigated. The restroom was clean dnd well-stocked. When I arrived right at closing time, they stayed and helped me get settled in with both a smile and a warm welcome. A+. Will return.

One night tent site with dry warm weather was pleasant and uneventful for most part. Used the showers and sinks and found them to be clean. Arrived past check in but easily found the necessary paperwork and tent site. The tent site was less than desirable. The only location was a low area. On a wet day, it would have been unusable. Wish I knew how to turn off or put a shade on the lamp.

The grounds are a little close to the interstate which was quite loud at night making it difficult to sleep. Outside of the interstate noise, everything else was fantastic.

Great place to stay, just outside of Ft Collins. I recommend the tent spots with electricity. Also, bathrooms are clean.

I led a group of 37 scouts and leaders on a trip to Colorado and we stayed at The Fort Collins North/Wellington KOA. We were treated like royalty by the KOA team! I would highly recommend this KOA to any one and we will be returning! Thank You for an Awesome stay!

Very nice campground with lots of room. It is next to a cow pasture, so there were some flies and a slight smell of manure when the wind shifted. It didn’t bother us though. Very quiet.

Our young ones had a great time at the playground and loved the pool. The only negative was that the tent camping water stand was not functioning.

Beautiful view and clean Rv park. Make sure to have a step stool on hand some of the spots are not real level. Still a great place!🙂
