The smell of the cattle made me think of my Grandma's farm!

It was a beautiful place, nice cement patio, trees were nice and shady but the flies from the feedlot next door made it very uncomfortable to sit outside. Later when the wind changed it really didn't smell that great.

Very nice campground, very clean. Helpful staff. Lot of flies though and woke up smelling sewage. Thought it was our rig, but it was the outside air.

The only problem was the car alarms going off at 10pm and 5am!!!!!!

We booked an RV site here for a weekend in order to make some improvements to our recently-acquired camper. We arrived just after the office closed at 6pm, but there was still a staff member in the office who gladly checked us in. The campground is right off of I-25 (some 600 yards or so) but the road noise wasn't that noticeable. They have 3 long check-in lanes which are lit at night for late arrivals. The short entrance road and most of the interior roads are gravel; the few paved roads are white concrete, which our dogs appreciated during the sunny summer afternoon. All of the RV site pads are gravel, while most of the "lawns" were river rock. Don't forget to bring your leveling blocks, as the entire campground has a downward slope from east-to-west (left to right) and the pads don't overcome that slope. All of the RV sites have full hookups as well as a cable hookup, which we made use of. There are some shade trees, but not every site has them. The campground has a nicely-decorated office building with a small store, a lounge area, bathroom and shower stalls, and a laundry room. Next to the office is a swimming pool, a pavilion with portable yard games, a swingset, a basketball hoop with a concrete pad, and a covered Kamping Kitchen area with a sink, some stovetop burners, and a grill. On the other side of the office is a propane refill station. A jungle gym playground is located by the tent camping area. There is a small dog park on the west side of the park with a dirt and gravel surface and a single door gate: we used it but our dogs were more interested in walking the grassy areas on the perimeter of the campground. This is probably not a great location for working remotely. They do offer WiFi but ask that you don't stream or download files: a reasonable request given it often took a few seconds for web pages to load (at least at our site). I had better luck with my cellular connection via my AT&T smartphone (my 6:30am speed test showed 44 Mbps down but only 3.6 up), but even that got slow at times. We would overnight here again, but honestly it's not a campground I would choose to hang out and relax at. I will note that when I tried to use Google Maps to find some local fast food options, it kept directing me to places down in Fort Collins (a 20+ minute drive), even though nearby Wellington had a number of fast food choices. Not sure why it did that.

Beautiful view and clean Rv park. Make sure to have a step stool on hand some of the spots are not real level. Still a great place!🙂
