RV Reviews

Hard working crew keep this koa clean and in great shape. The dog park is nice and kept as clean as can be expected. Pool is clean but a little cool for us, not heated but ok in high temperatures. The roaming all-night security is appreciated.

Great place to get away and enjoy life

Stay was great love the setting. Only issue was that side to side leveling took all my pads to level and was worried that I was going to accomplish it. Worked out and enjoyed our stay.

We enjoyed our stay here. Everything was well kept and very clean. Our kids loved all the play areas as well. The helicopter was a huge hit!

We had read the reviews about strong smell from a nearby farm and a lot of flies. Actually, this wasn't the case at all. The campground was so clean and the people there were very friendly. We arrived a little later than scheduled so I sent a text and got a quick response. They had an after hours checkin which was very easy. We cannot wait to go back! We would absolutely recommend this campground

Very clean and well kept camp ground

Great location being in between Fort Collins, CO and Cheyenne, WY. The staff was very polite and helpful. The campground is very clean and well taken care of. This location looks like it's going to add more area's to camp and that would be great. The only thing that is bad is that the wifi doesn't reach out through out the camp grounds, just up at the office. Overall I give it 4 stars.

We were here only for one night, but it seemed like a perfectly fine KOA for traveling through. Other than our site being a little side sloped, we had no issues and enjoyed the overnight.

Very convenient to I-25 but far enough away you can't hear traffic noise. Spacious campground with plenty of activities to do for all ages. Looks like they are close to becoming a KOA Holiday level park. I'm impressed!

We travel 2-3 months at a time. While we only stayed one night at this KOA like many KOA parks the sites are not level front to back. We have a class A with an automatic as well as manual leveling system. 40% of the time the leveling has to be manipulated manually. This is time consuming! Many of the sites are muddy and require jack pads to eliminate unleveling issues. Internet / cable bad!

Great facility and loved the pool!!!

Easy to get to from I-25. Nicely laid out with decent site sizes. Looks like a lot of new construction happening.

Staff was great. The roads and sites are a bit small for a 43’ class A. The trees are great, love to see them but some branches hit the coach. I hate to have that happen. Instructions say do not cut the branches, I get it. But buy the same token, RV are getting bigger all the time and no one wants their paint scratched by even small branches.

The odor of fertilizer or septic feces was unbearable. I assume you know what causes it. Fix it. Also dump trucks moved loads of dirt 40 ft from our trailer at dinner time. Forced inside with closed window due to dust and noise. Unacceptable

The staff is always so helpful and campground is always nice and clean.

The staff were great and the facilities and campground were clean. All the utilities worked well and the site was mostly level. Unfortunately there was a horrible smell that permeated the air most of the time we were there. There is a feed lot that creates this horrible stench. While this is not the fault of KOA it did negatively impact the enjoyment of our stay and would never stay there again.

We had a very nice long-term stay close to one year. The property was always well maintained with fun events going on regularly. All the staff were very friendly and helpful! I would definitely stay here again.

Awesome, this is my halfway point from Montana to New Mexico for Family reunion/vacation. Nice level concrete site were I did not have to unhook trailer from truck and just hook up utilities and leave early in the morning for both ways of travel. The late check in information was ready in the box and made our trip both ways very smooth and enjoyable. Thank you

Enjoyable with a great view of the Rockies.

We stayed on the west side with a nice view. There was a lot of room to walk our dog. The restroom/ shower was clean and well maintained. The activity area was nice as there was a variety of games and the pool was nice. Friendly and helpful staff.

We had a really nice spot, site A12! I think it costs a little more but it was worth it. It had a view of the mountains, it has a concrete pad with a table and chairs, fire pit with chairs around it, and a propane grill. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There is a really nice small pool.

Nice campground but zero wifi & internet. Not sure how technology isn’t a priority in this day and time. Not every camper has their own satellite. Smell from plant quite noticeable but it is Colorado countryside.

Wonderful staff. Wonderful place.

It was a nice clean campground. Sites are fairly level hookup’s are located properly. We had a peaceful nights sleep. Thank you

Clean area and friendly staff

The valet to our sight was nice. The camp site was clean. The pool was well used by happy families. The main reason I didn’t give it a 5 was because the night we stayed the smell of manure/fertilizer was so strong that it was hard to eat dinner. I’m not sure if this was a onetime thing or if there is a farm/plant close by that makes this very ripe stuff on a nightly basis.

Staff were super friendly which is very important to us. Everything was clean and maintained including the K9 Kamp area. Absolutely loved the pool and the large single person restroom/showers. Very nice facility!

Feed lot next door was unbearable smell and bugs. Sites were not level at all

Very nice campground, clean and the staff is very helpful and beautiful scenery.

Entire camping area was very clean, staff was friendly.

The park was clean and our space was on concrete making leveling easy. Staff was not as helpful as staff at the other KOA’s we have stayed at on this trip. Park looked to have a lot of permenants so it looked more like a mobile home park than campground. It was adequate for the one night.

The park was very clean and well maintained and the staff was always helpful and friendly.

Clean sites, the people were nice and helpful. The pool was great. Can't wait to come back! Love the remodel they are doing.

This park has had a major renovation, which was much needed. Very efficient.

The only reason ink not giving this 5 stars is there is ZERO streaming service here. With my travel career, it is imperative for my continuing education and connectivity to have this feature available. Other than this, it is remarkable!

We booked an RV site here for a weekend in order to make some improvements to our recently-acquired camper. We arrived just after the office closed at 6pm, but there was still a staff member in the office who gladly checked us in. The campground is right off of I-25 (some 600 yards or so) but the road noise wasn't that noticeable. They have 3 long check-in lanes which are lit at night for late arrivals. The short entrance road and most of the interior roads are gravel; the few paved roads are white concrete, which our dogs appreciated during the sunny summer afternoon. All of the RV site pads are gravel, while most of the "lawns" were river rock. Don't forget to bring your leveling blocks, as the entire campground has a downward slope from east-to-west (left to right) and the pads don't overcome that slope. All of the RV sites have full hookups as well as a cable hookup, which we made use of. There are some shade trees, but not every site has them. The campground has a nicely-decorated office building with a small store, a lounge area, bathroom and shower stalls, and a laundry room. Next to the office is a swimming pool, a pavilion with portable yard games, a swingset, a basketball hoop with a concrete pad, and a covered Kamping Kitchen area with a sink, some stovetop burners, and a grill. On the other side of the office is a propane refill station. A jungle gym playground is located by the tent camping area. There is a small dog park on the west side of the park with a dirt and gravel surface and a single door gate: we used it but our dogs were more interested in walking the grassy areas on the perimeter of the campground. This is probably not a great location for working remotely. They do offer WiFi but ask that you don't stream or download files: a reasonable request given it often took a few seconds for web pages to load (at least at our site). I had better luck with my cellular connection via my AT&T smartphone (my 6:30am speed test showed 44 Mbps down but only 3.6 up), but even that got slow at times. We would overnight here again, but honestly it's not a campground I would choose to hang out and relax at. I will note that when I tried to use Google Maps to find some local fast food options, it kept directing me to places down in Fort Collins (a 20+ minute drive), even though nearby Wellington had a number of fast food choices. Not sure why it did that.
