We had a wonderful stay at the Wellington KOA! The location was ideal — close enough to get to Cheyenne for Frontier Days but still an easy drive to the mountains for those stunning Colorado views. The campground was peaceful, very clean, and well-maintained, making it a relaxing place to unwind after busy days. Highly recommend for anyone wanting

We stayed here to have a closer drive to Cheyenne Frontier Days. We were not at the campground much, but it was very clean! We loved the private bathrooms which included a shower! Everyone was so nice. We will be back!

Landscaping is very nice. Close to interstate, but still pretty quiet. Sites are a little cramped, considering how much land there is. Entire campground slopes enough to the west that we saw many campers’ wheels off the ground. I had to put 3 inch blocks under my right side tires.

It's looking much better than it did in 2022. Lots of work. The sites aren't real level but manageable. It's a reasonable price KOA that gets you close to places like Estes Park, Trail Ridge Road, Horsetooth Reservoir and a number of other places to see.

Friendly staff, level sites. Campground is just off the interstate so it's easy to find. The only negative is the narrow entrance. The KOA sign should be moved over to so big rigs easier don't risk hitting the sign or tipping on the steep slope to the passenger side of the rig.

We went in without a reservation and were able to get a site with no issues. It was plenty wide and easy to hook up. Nice staff. Clean campground.

The best part about this KOA is the staff! Knowledgeable, kind, friendly and very helpful. They even held our packages for us prior to our arrival! We will definitely return if in the area!

Great KOA! Showers and bathroom were clean. While we didn't have the chance to explore the other amenities, they all looked well-maintained and inviting. Would stay here again.

Clean, spacious sites and campground. However, it is imperative that you advise folks, BEFORE one makes a reservation, regarding the frequent odiferous air from the nearby cattle fields that causes one to seal up their RV and stay inside. Winds will shift and the smell was awful

Needed an overnight stay. Had stayed there a week or so earlier with a positive experience so called for another. 2nd visit was also very good. Liked the fact they had a small store with special RV needs as we'd forgotten our pigtail for 50 to 30amp hookup at the camp spot around Denver. We were able to purchase at a reasonable price here at this Wellington KOA location. Had great 50amp here

Loved this KOA. Everyone so nice. Our site was at the end and had a lovely concrete pad, gas grill, table with Adirondack chairs, as well as fire pit with more Adirondack chairs. The view was amazing. Highly recommend.

We had a great stay at the Wellington KOA! The staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and provided excellent customer service from start to finish. One thing that surprised us was how quiet the campground was, especially considering its convenient location right off I-25. It was much more peaceful than we expected! We also enjoyed some beautiful sunsets during our stay. The facilities were well-maintained, and having a great laundry room and well-stocked store made our stay even more convenient. Overall, a wonderful campground with a welcoming atmosphere. We would definitely stay here again!

Great campground with really nice sites. Laundry had plenty of machines and was very clean. Particularly good if you are looking for something right off the interstate. The only reason I rated this 4 instead of 5 star is the really weak wifi. The campground would benefit from upgrading the system. In spite of the frustrating wifi we would stay at this campground again.

We stayed just one night in early September. None of the complaints we read about were present. It is near the highway, but far back enough you don't hear it. The place is clean, quiet, and seems safe. There are lots of amenities including a small pool, a playground, and a dog park. I would definitely visit again.
