Too loud camp site, heavy traffic along highway I cannot sleep at all. Camper by RV might be ok, but It is no good place to Camper by tent .

Perfect KOA right off the interstate very clean. Great little tent site, just right for us. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Very loud off of I-75. Forced to set up our tent even though traveling with modified minivan.Staff was nice enough but started our trip off on the wrong footing.

The handicapped accessible bathroom was not working, and the tenting campsites were not handicapped accessible. There was no accommodation possible for my 83 year old disabled mother.

did not stay. Had a reservation months back I had to cancel, the lady said that it could be used in future. Think may have set up for Aug but not sure. Anyway I enjoyed staying there before, but did not remember this reservation.

The staff was wonderful and the area was serene. My only critique would be the state of the retaining wall by the powered tent spots. It is bowed and partially rotten. Replacing it soon would be a fantastic thing.

The campground was very clean and that’s about the only positive. The pool was shut down and the site ,electric, that I paid for did not work. In town shooting a movie as an actor and had limited time To call or even to get a cell signal to report the electric did not work. Once reported I was told no discount or refund would be offered since I did not mention when I called to extend my stay.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We apologize for the pool as we are working non stop to complete repairs and get it open for our guests. However, you spoke with the office multiple times and never mentioned the issue. As you stated you even extended your stay and didn’t mention the issue. You left and then made your complaint.

We had a tent site on this visit having stayed in camping cabins previously. The tent pad was nice. However the area around the pad was hilly and full of large tree roots. Parking above the sites requires having to carry all tenting needs & equipment down either steep steps (not near the car) or a very precarious incline. Picnic tables provided in the tent area were rotted. Would not tent again

We stayed at the Forsyth KOA from July to January, and our experience underwent a remarkable transformation during our stay. When we first arrived, the campground was in rough shape. Many areas were in need of repairs, and some of the staff were rude, making us feel uncomfortable. However, about two months in, the management changed, and everything turned around for the better. The new managers wasted no time addressing the issues. They made much-needed repairs, replaced unhelpful staff with a friendly and competent team, and completely revitalized the atmosphere. From that point on, our stay was incredibly enjoyable. The campground became a fun, welcoming place for our kids to play, and the staff were always kind and accommodating. I would highly recommend this KOA—whether you're just passing through or planning a longer stay. It's clear the new management truly cares about creating a positive experience for their guests.

This is our second stay at this KOA Campground. Check in was a breeze, greeted by friendly folks and given all the necessary info plus free warm cookies (delicious). Escorted to our assigned site up close to the fishing pond and a pleasant walk to the bathhouse. My 13 yo grandson and husband had a blast catching and releasing small bass and brim. The bathhouse was super clean and the upgrades there are very very nice. Our site was level and all hook ups including Wi-Fi 5G worked perfectly. We ordered pizza, sodas and chicken nuggets from the office, it was delivered to us hot and fresh - so convenient and very good! We didn't use the pool as it stormed after dinner. The campground was clean and well-kept, we had no issues at all and give this a 10/10. We'll be back again on our next journey north. Thank you!

We camped here for one night on our way back from Florida. Upon arrival we were greeted by the office workers and offered warm cookies. We were also escorted to our site which was nice. We ordered pizza from the on-site pizza place and it was affordable and really good. We will stay here again on our way back from Florida next spring. Only negative is that the roads are very narrow in the park which could cause a problem if 2 big campers are trying to go opposite directions at the same time.
