It is not really big rig friendly at all. Sites are extremely tight. There is no space to sit outside, open awnings, nothing. They do have great 5g internet. We would not stay here again.

Very nice folks. We only stayed one night and enjoyed our stop, it is somewhat tight maneuvering a bigger rig but not a big deal.

the location is great, right off the highway but they put us way in the back of the park and it rained the entire night we were there. It poured rain so our site was very muddy and wet but it was good for a one night stay.

The internet was extremely weak the park was clean and quiet

Everyone was great!

We stayed for 15 rainy hours, but the experience was still a good one. The park is peaceful and tucked away in the woods, which gave it a cozy, secluded feel even in the downpour. The staff truly stood out — kind, attentive, and incredibly helpful throughout our short stay. A great stop, rain or shine.

Everybody was so welcoming! The sites were sizable, the amenities were accessible, and it was a great place to overnight!

Sites are extremely close to each other. Getting out of our site was a chellenge. Had to have neighbor move vehicle. Not a great place for larger rigs. Water presssue was 80 psi so brimg pressure regulator. We had a 40' fifth wheel.

They warn you that you are right on expressway. This is true and I am glad I have earplugs at night! The other important thing is that there is no room at all between spaces. I describe it as a parking lot for campers. I understand that real estate is expensive and all but I had to put the optional fire pit almost on the road (had to ask for it and a picnic table which is also an option).

Quick stopover on my way to FRVA chapter event. I didn't unhook toad. Didn't use any services.

Was perfect for our overnight stay Although they said they had cable at each site but we couldn’t find it on our site 8 People were friendly and we really enjoyed being gifted warm cookies upon our arrival

We had a very pleasant stay. Campground and restrooms were clean and well maintained.

Wifi was terribly slow. We called the support line and they said it was because it was raining. Not helpful. We finally figured out that there was another network with 5G behind it. Luckily the same password worked. That network was fast and saved our evening. Other than that the place was good.

It very nice. I love the trees. And how quiet it is

Compared to other KOAs we've been, the only good thing was the wifi. We were on stone, a fake fire ring, no grass, sites were stairsteped, a dirty picnic table

Nice, well kept campground. Office staff was excellent!

Lots of road noise in the front areas. Would stay further back next time. This was our 2nd visit

For an overnight stopover, it was fine. I was surprised that there was no picnic table. It would be helpful to have signs pointing the way to the exit.

Very narrow sites for overnight on gravel that is questionably level. 4 ft from your neighbor. You can hear the ac turn on and off of everyone’s near by. Not very impressive. No way to even put out your awning and sit outside, let alone set up a grill to cook. Disappointed

Sites are too close and not level.

Staff assisted us to get on the road as we experienced a slide-out issue. Thanks to staffers Derek and Tom for helping us. Great location to stay and easy entry despite late arrival.

Everything was great except how unlevel both our sites were. On one of them, we did not have enough leveler to get the trailer level.

Not good first of all this is a journey where sometimes you don't have to unhook but here you do not one site is level also felt more like a trailer park than a KOA all permanent campers had the front primo spots under the trees and all journey campers got put back in the back no trees unlevel sites close to the trash dump don't think they care too much about the one night journey KOA travelers

Love all the upgrades! Nice pond with geese! We always stop here because of the free fresh chocolate chip cookies we get at check in.

Our drive-through RV site was so unlevel. We couldn’t completely level off with our EQ system, the turn lanes were so tight. I had to do a five point turn, the dump station was on such a poor angle. My system wouldn’t even dump and made a complete mess when I got to my next destination to hook up, and there was no dumpster even remotely close to dispose of. Not impressed at all and will never

Third time staying here. Easy in and easy out with a 37 foot 5th wheel. No issues at all with any of my stays here.

Wonderful experience!! It was a quick overnight stop. We experienced a warm greeting at the cute office and store including fresh baked cookies. Loved that we were there in time to order a fresh made pizza that was delivered to our site…perfect after a day of travel!! The camp grounds are exceptionally maintained. It was one of the nicest KOA’s we have stayed at. The owners & staff

Always a great place to stop in, stay a while, or for just an over night. The staff is warm, welcoming, very friendly. Thanks! We will be back. Oh and the warm cookies at check in always help after a long day of driving!

The cell service and wireless internet was very spotty. The main water line was cut on Saturday and we didn’t have water for several hours. The main cable tv was cut while repairing water line and was never watchable after it was cut!

The staff is friendly and went out of their way to check on us to make sure we were ok in our site. They even delivered pizza in the rain. However our friends had a very unlevel site and after moving the next site wasn’t much better. They had a lot of rain and some gravel washout. They should not rent out those sites. Especially to overnighters who don’t want to disconnect. Hope they improve t

Great stay Julie was amazing

Sites are very small and not flat for big rigs towing a vehicle. On top of your neighbor's. Very tight trying to get out of the campground too

Staff was super friendly and helpful. Greatly appreciate their efforts

Staff was awesome. Downfall is the sites are really close together and the section we were in was no where near level. Had to put the Jack's down so far that the motoring front tires were way off the ground.

We stayed at the Forsyth KOA from July to January, and our experience underwent a remarkable transformation during our stay. When we first arrived, the campground was in rough shape. Many areas were in need of repairs, and some of the staff were rude, making us feel uncomfortable. However, about two months in, the management changed, and everything turned around for the better. The new managers wasted no time addressing the issues. They made much-needed repairs, replaced unhelpful staff with a friendly and competent team, and completely revitalized the atmosphere. From that point on, our stay was incredibly enjoyable. The campground became a fun, welcoming place for our kids to play, and the staff were always kind and accommodating. I would highly recommend this KOA—whether you're just passing through or planning a longer stay. It's clear the new management truly cares about creating a positive experience for their guests.

This is our second stay at this KOA Campground. Check in was a breeze, greeted by friendly folks and given all the necessary info plus free warm cookies (delicious). Escorted to our assigned site up close to the fishing pond and a pleasant walk to the bathhouse. My 13 yo grandson and husband had a blast catching and releasing small bass and brim. The bathhouse was super clean and the upgrades there are very very nice. Our site was level and all hook ups including Wi-Fi 5G worked perfectly. We ordered pizza, sodas and chicken nuggets from the office, it was delivered to us hot and fresh - so convenient and very good! We didn't use the pool as it stormed after dinner. The campground was clean and well-kept, we had no issues at all and give this a 10/10. We'll be back again on our next journey north. Thank you!

We camped here for one night on our way back from Florida. Upon arrival we were greeted by the office workers and offered warm cookies. We were also escorted to our site which was nice. We ordered pizza from the on-site pizza place and it was affordable and really good. We will stay here again on our way back from Florida next spring. Only negative is that the roads are very narrow in the park which could cause a problem if 2 big campers are trying to go opposite directions at the same time.
