We arrived around 3 pm and office was already closed We were there 3 nights and never saw any personnel. Upon leaving we needed propane but nobody in office again so no propane! The electric plug was loose and when you tried to plug in the camper it recessed inside the box. The hookups were not spaced out well and the sites were small and not at all level.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

While we understand your frustration, we do not believe this was our location. Per our system you checked in at 1:40 pm and only stayed with us for one night. Our office is open until 6 pm daily. Sorry if this was your experience at another KOA location.

Site’s uneven, roads not marked for exit. Definitely not the KOA standard. Very disappointing.

Campground is almost idyllic. Issue is coming in after office closed. They did not advise of the code required to enter. The place is extremely dark. sites only have a little light by the water spout , making very difficult to read the site number.

I can't really give it a thorough review as we arrived in the dark and left in the dark but I can say the shower and bathroom facilities were updated and clean and they offered a handicap shower that was very roomy and accommodating.

We were in site #6 for just an overnight stay. The site was perfect for our needs. The staff was very considerate and helpful. We ordered pizza, onion rings from their grill. Excellent. Will stay here on our return trip.

Very well run, great employees, clean and friendly. It’s all the little things like cookies, trash pick up and the knowledge your employees have. Plus pizza to order. Keep up the good work! Will be back in April

Upon arrival I made contact with the office staff who were friendly and the check in was a breeze. I was escorted to my site that was level for the most part. Shortly after setting up one of the staff brought over some fresh warm cookies! The park was close to a major highway and had some road noise but we use a sound machine when we’re sleeping so I wasn’t bothered by it!

The friendliest people/staff we experienced on our trip down to Florida from Canada. They escorted us right to our sight and made sure we were situated perfectly for setup. They even brought us cookies as a welcome for choosing their campground. Amazing experience and we highly recommend this campground.

Great campsite that provided everything we wanted- including a spot large enough to put up our dog pen. All staff was professional, friendly, and helpful. We required an extension of our stay due to our towed vehicle breaking down and at the dealer for repair. They were able to extend our stay and even arranged it so we could remain in the same spot. Kudos to all involved!

We were put back in the rally area sites were so close together that the neighbors awning almost hits my slide. Roads were thin and in disrepair, big holes. From what I understand they just sold it. And hopefully the new owners will take more care. Don't plan on being back. Staff was nice though.

Everything from the warm welcome and being escorted to my site(which was very helpful as I'd never stayed here before. The surprise cookie was a perfect end to my dinner which came from your pizza oven and the free delivery to my door plus the pizza was GREAT!

No Lake view from our cabin, being the first cabin next to Interstate lot of noise. But: cabin was clean, restrooms clean, loved the cookie, thanks!

Staff was excellent and very helpful when site was so unlevel we had to move. Drawback was road noise but pizza and cookie delivery great!!

The only down side of this property is the roadways need some work on them. The staff and area is awesome.

We only stayed overnight, but we're impressed by how welcoming the staff was to us. Treed campground with a small pond with geese and ducks. They have food available too. The pizza was delicious � We also got cookies as a Thank You for staying with them.

Recommend? That depends what the goal is. If its a spot for a quick 1 night stop, its ideal. Easy access, easy egress. Access to shopping and interstate. It checks the boxes. For more than 1 night, definitely not -- the sites are way too tight. Maybe the newer section is better up top -- tiny!!! Bathrooms were clean. I like the on site pizza shop and cookies ;) Nice touch.

I can't comment much because we really only parked there as we spent our days visiting at our son's home and only slept in the RV. Check in and guide to the site was very efficient and the warm chocolate cookies were a nice touch. Site was a bit "dirty" with only rock and dirt but it was roomy and all hook-ups were in good shape. Good value and very convenient.

Good park for overnight. The sites are too cramped for setting up to cook or sit to sit outside in the evening after a long day on the road. The staff is very helpful and friendly.The freshly baked cookies are a nice extra.

We camped here for one night on our way back from Florida. Upon arrival we were greeted by the office workers and offered warm cookies. We were also escorted to our site which was nice. We ordered pizza from the on-site pizza place and it was affordable and really good. We will stay here again on our way back from Florida next spring. Only negative is that the roads are very narrow in the park which could cause a problem if 2 big campers are trying to go opposite directions at the same time.

Nice Camp thanks for the stay. Fabulous chocolate chip cookies at registration WOW! We'll be back just for them. Wi-Fi was great Despite assurance at the registration desk, I had to disconnect to level our camper in our not-so-level pull thru spot Chicken wings (both bone-in and non) were not very good.

Always a great place to visit. Our third time here. Staff goes out of their way to make you feel welcome. Beautiful campground. Easy on and off I65.
