It needs soooo much work , I have been to about 3 KOA s they had been great this one , ��� we took the job as work campers for KOA was looking forward to doing that, until you see the KOA terrible spots , not a lot of room , no we will not be back or recommend this KOA !

It was very difficult to get level. Also the cable TV didn’t work at our site. We were extremely lucky after many tries to get satellite TV.

EXCELLENT PLACE. ESPECIALLY LOVED THE COOKIES AND YUMMY PIZZA! ONLY THING MISSING WAS THE AVAILABILITY OF FIREWOOD.

Roads are in need of major repair in the back. Lots of long term residents. Had a security camera go missing, contacted them, left multiple messages and no return call and when I did speak with someone upon my return she didn't seem to know what I was talking about or even cared. Had the police come for a report. Sounds like new management within the last couple of weeks.

The people were very nice but the sites are not level and it is difficult to maneuver the turns in the camp ground. We have a 40ft motorhome and towing a jeep grand Cherokee as difficult. There was no cable and internet was horrible For $51 I was expected more. Would not recommend for a larger coach or unit.

The deluxe cabin was clean, comfortable, and very nice. I will stay here again. Easy check in and out, very nice people. Vest place to stay in Forsyth GA. Ran out of hot water during my shower, but I was done anyway.

Overall an ok place, at the lower end of all the KOA's we've stayed at. The check in staff is friendly and welcoming the grounds and restrooms are clean. The downside is, the grounds infrastructure is in very poor shape, from hugh potholes, uneven sidewalks and bulging retaining walls it definately needs some TLC. A plus is the proximity to the I-75 makes for easy on/off for overnight stays .

This is a very convenient stop for us as we travel between FL and TN. Our last 2 stops however, we have seen a deterioration in the campground roads to and from sites. Many of the sites in the far back loop have been muddy and could use a little more gravel. Still enjoy the cookies though.

Friendly and helpful staff. They brought us cookies after we got setup on the site. This is an older campground with a lot of pine trees. The site was mostly level with convenient water and electric.

We love this campground. The grounds are so peaceful. The staff is friendly, the pizza is delicious and the free cookies are a welcome treat. We just wish the sites were a little more level.

Only there for an overnite, but the front check in was easy and very pleasant. She even gave me giant cookies! Biggest drawback was the site was not very level. As I walked around the campground, a lot of sites were not level, as the whole place was very hilly. But it was nice and we’d be back.

We arrived around 3 pm and office was already closed We were there 3 nights and never saw any personnel. Upon leaving we needed propane but nobody in office again so no propane! The electric plug was loose and when you tried to plug in the camper it recessed inside the box. The hookups were not spaced out well and the sites were small and not at all level.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

While we understand your frustration, we do not believe this was our location. Per our system you checked in at 1:40 pm and only stayed with us for one night. Our office is open until 6 pm daily. Sorry if this was your experience at another KOA location.

Site’s uneven, roads not marked for exit. Definitely not the KOA standard. Very disappointing.

Campground is almost idyllic. Issue is coming in after office closed. They did not advise of the code required to enter. The place is extremely dark. sites only have a little light by the water spout , making very difficult to read the site number.

I can't really give it a thorough review as we arrived in the dark and left in the dark but I can say the shower and bathroom facilities were updated and clean and they offered a handicap shower that was very roomy and accommodating.

We were in site #6 for just an overnight stay. The site was perfect for our needs. The staff was very considerate and helpful. We ordered pizza, onion rings from their grill. Excellent. Will stay here on our return trip.

Very well run, great employees, clean and friendly. It’s all the little things like cookies, trash pick up and the knowledge your employees have. Plus pizza to order. Keep up the good work! Will be back in April

Upon arrival I made contact with the office staff who were friendly and the check in was a breeze. I was escorted to my site that was level for the most part. Shortly after setting up one of the staff brought over some fresh warm cookies! The park was close to a major highway and had some road noise but we use a sound machine when we’re sleeping so I wasn’t bothered by it!

The friendliest people/staff we experienced on our trip down to Florida from Canada. They escorted us right to our sight and made sure we were situated perfectly for setup. They even brought us cookies as a welcome for choosing their campground. Amazing experience and we highly recommend this campground.

We camped here for one night on our way back from Florida. Upon arrival we were greeted by the office workers and offered warm cookies. We were also escorted to our site which was nice. We ordered pizza from the on-site pizza place and it was affordable and really good. We will stay here again on our way back from Florida next spring. Only negative is that the roads are very narrow in the park which could cause a problem if 2 big campers are trying to go opposite directions at the same time.

Nice Camp thanks for the stay. Fabulous chocolate chip cookies at registration WOW! We'll be back just for them. Wi-Fi was great Despite assurance at the registration desk, I had to disconnect to level our camper in our not-so-level pull thru spot Chicken wings (both bone-in and non) were not very good.

Always a great place to visit. Our third time here. Staff goes out of their way to make you feel welcome. Beautiful campground. Easy on and off I65.
