Great CG, sites are spacious although there are some tight turns. The staff is excellent and friendly. All facilities work well. Oh, and the brisket and pulled pork are exceptional.

Absolutely amazing campground. Every site is beautiful with privacy on each site. Bathhouses are warm and clean! Great for motorcycles because the blue ridge trail is right there!

A little disappointed that we were moved from our initial reserved spot (#26), relocated to #78, and after I called was able to get #14 (closer to our friends), and #26 was empty 2 of the 5 nights of our stay; and the nights that it was occupied it was occupied by two different groups of campers.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

KOA has a great offering called "select my site" in the event you want a specific site, choose "select my site" when making your reservation and you a guaranteed that site for your stay. If not, you will be moved for our guest that want a guaranteed site.

Nice place. Spot 13 was smaller than what we thought. Wouldn’t stay at that spot again. Gentlemen who helped us back trailer into the spot was great!

Really enjoyed our stay. The only disappointment was we couldn't use our mini go-cart..

As I am sure you see, these hills are not joke. We are happy to offer a lift around our campground in our "presidential golf cart" it has great cushy seats.

Campground staff was so friendly! The campground was peaceful and very nice! Pizza and BBQ sandwiches were yummy!! My kids loved the playground, gem mining, and other games around the campground. We enjoyed our stay and will be back!

The staff is first class in every way. A very enjoyable stay for 4 days. A very engaged team that looks forward to helping you have an enjoyable visit. A convenient location that backs up to the Blue Ridge Parkway.

Great staff, clean, and I stayed in a cabin and it was perfect to break up my Blue Ridge Parkway tour. Maybe a little sign to point to how to get back to the Blue Ridge as I took a round about way per Google.

We took our kids camping for the first time here, what a great experience! We even stayed an extra night and called out of work because it was so awesome! The staff are some of the nicest people we've met and we're always ready to accommodate any need we had, which is great when camping with a baby. Firewood and ice delivered, plenty of space, peaceful, and they have very clean facilities. We caught fish in the pond (largemouth, bluegill, crappie), played giant billiards, and they even have gem mining in the campground. We even had a little disc golf course and playground next to our huge tent site (#40). We definitely will be back!
