I enjoyed my stay, even if it was poring down rain as I was setting up. Staff was very friendly at all times. Restrooms and facilities very well cleaned. My main two complaints are....I was on site 27 and it needs more stone put down. At the bottom of my steps was a muddy mess that got tracked in often. Big leaning tree needs to be trimmed up with a lot of other trees. Was topic among others also.

My wife and I stayed over the weekend with our truck camper at site number 14 and it fit perfect your food delivery was perfect the brisket and the pork platters we tried both just one of the best koas I've ever stayed at thank you guys

This was our second visit and we brought our granddaughters along. It is a fabulous KOA…grounds are meticulously cared for, lovely pool area, fun mining experience, nice shop and very good food (pizza, sandwiches & lots of snacks). Staff are courteous and friendly. Can’t wait to go back next year and our 12 & 10 year old grandkids can’t wait either!

Everyone was wonderfull and very helpful when we decided to stay longer than our original reservation. Owner Angie was great in accommodating us into a different site and the rest of the crew were always around to check if anything was needed while we were there.

Beautiful sites! Tons of space for our two dogs with the fenced in back yard. The pulled pork and brisket sandwiches were delicious and the staff was very warm and welcoming! We will definitely be returning to this KOA in our future travels.

We absolutely love Fancy Gap KOA. Nice park, friendly staff. The hills in the campground make for excellent exercise. We certainly will be back again.

I loved it there. Very friendly staff. Property is in wonderful condition. Plenty of trees. Nice camp store, and you can even order some home-cooked barbecue, pizza, etc. I'll definitely be back. Best campground ever! The bathrooms and laundry facilities were very well kept. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Will look forward to staying again!

We have stayed here before and love it. campsites are great, people are great. had to do a lot of laundry since we'd been on the road for a while. Laundry was clean and nice. took a ride on the Blue Ridge Parkway which is right there by the campsite. Fog and rain held us up a bit but not KOA's fault. Would definitely recommend staying there. We will stay there if we are up that way again

One of our favorite KOAs (and we’ve been to a lot). Easy check in, beautiful sites, good water pressure. We were not able to stream our TV - wifi seemed a little weak. Sites are really pretty and not super jammed in like a lot of KOAs. Owner smokes BBQ and you can also get pizza. Awesome little store too.

This was probably the best KOA we stayed at for our trip West and back. There were more games for the kids to play and the setting is amazing. We were lucky to have a somewhat secluded spot with plenty of privacy but still close to the family friendly action! The pulled pork and baked beans were perfect for a quick and easy dinner! We look forward to stopping in again for a longer visit.

The staff was awesome. We were welcomed at the driveway into the KOA, checked in and escorted to our site without leaving the truck. The facilities were clean and well maintained. This is a great place to stay.

This RV Park is fantastic. The folks that work there are wonderful. Lots of trees & cool summertime temps. We have stayed here many times, hauling our RV trailer north from Jacksonville, FL. The proximity to the BlueRidge Parkway & the BRP Music Center is fantastic.

Love this campground . Enjoyed the great customer service . Ordered pizza and it was delivered quickly. Nice when you arrive and don't want to cook but have something to eat right away. Love the new addition to the pool area with the extra lounge area. Look forward to our next trip there. Thanks Dellinger's

We have stayed here twice! The staff is always so nice! The first time we stayed, they gave Welcome bags with KOA Koozies and dog treats…. We missed that this time… but it was still a good stay!

Very expensive. We don’t pay these rates camping oceanfront at the beach. Felt like we were camping in a dog kennel. Several campers had 3 and 4 dogs that were kept in portable fencing and barked constantly. I was hesitant to complain to the office but when I did it didn’t make a difference. Fancy gap KOA is not the place for a relaxing trip to the mountains.

We camped (tent) at site 81 at the Fancy Gap KOA. The site was perfect with good overhead tree cover and room for a 4-person tent and parking vehicle. Will certainly be back!

By far one of my favorite KOAs. The campground is not only clean, but it is cute. The grounds are immaculately maintained with adorable trinkets throughout. The staff and owners are one big family

Tent camped, 3 nights 2 kids ages 2 and 8. Unbelievably kind and helpful staff. We had a truly wonderful time. Full menu they offered with pizza and BBQ was great. We tried the pizza, yummm. Perfect for a quick bite upon arrival while trying to set up. The ice cream truck was a hit. The heated pool. Fishing in the pond. The bubbles, chalk and corn hole on the patio to use and play with. The tractor ride, spraying the other campers was a hoot. Bath houses very clean. We had a wonderful spot, right next to the playground. Playground was WONDERFUL for the older kids (-7) but a bit to large for the littles. The slides are STEEP AND QUICK!! Maybe add a smaller size set beside that one for the littles. Food lion 13 min, walmart 20 min, DG 3 min. Lots of local food options. Right off the blueridge. We tend to go to Cherokee KOA but this will be our new spot I believe. We will be back! #40

I took a recent three-day trip and stopped twice overnight. The fancy gap Virginia KOA was by far the best of the two campgrounds we stayed in. This little campground is on the side of the Blue Ridge. But when they built it, they did a really good job of each camper parking site level. They also don't pack them in so you have more space than other campgrounds that I have been in. The staff is super friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay going north and on our return trip going south. We tried food off of their menu. We had a homemade pizza with the works that was really really good. We also had a brisket sandwich. It was good, but there was a little too much bark in it for me. The brisket had been pulled, which is normal, but because all of the bark that was in it, it would've been better served chopped so the stringy bark would have been chopped for a better eating experience. I also found the campground to be relatively quiet. I think there were several long-term campers there. unlike many other parks this one seemed to have their long-term residence that were just camping instead of living there and working someone local because I didn't hear a morning rush of traffic leaving the campground. My only complaint would not be against the campground. It would be about other overnight campers and their unruly dogs. I really wish that people would train their dogs enough that when I walk by with my dog, their dog isn't lunging and barking at me. There are no bad dogs. There are just bad owners. I can't fault the campground for that. This is a campground that I would definitely stay at again
