Site 42. Wonderful stay! Beautiful park! Well run with very clean facilities. Excellent food available from the office and it can be delivered to your campsite along with good firewood. Convenient location near major highways. Couldn’t be better!

The cabin was beautiful and spotless!! This is the third time we’ve stayed here and we will be back. I tell everyone how beautiful this place is and I love it!!

Easy to drive through. People prepared for arrival and very polite and pleasant. Camp site was flat and easy to access. All facility services worked. General store had plenty to offer. Food was freshly prepared and available for delivery to the camper. Overall very nice camp experience. Thank you. Scott and Lisa.

Great staff, great food and a beautiful place. That sums it up. One of my favorite campgrounds and I go to a lot of campgrounds. I hit KOA locations up and down the east side of the US every summer between Florida and western NY. We always plan our trip around this campground.

This is a nice campground. In the mountains. Lot’s of shade. Great staff. Clean, clean bathrooms. Close to the Blue Ridge Parkway. A few minutes to Mount Airy, NC. Home of Andy Griffith.

You are welcome at the lodge, assisted with site location and set-up. Personnel go the extra mile to assure that all your request are handled. The entire KOA is clean and ever item is in its place. This is are favorite KOA stop there on every trip to and from West Virginia

The place was spotless. Friendly staff. A lot of metal sculptures around the park. The one up by the cabins with the old milk container was awesome. Cool games for the kids and very peaceful

Great stay! Beautiful, heavily wooded campground on the side of a mountain. Very friendly, helpful staff. Due to this campground being on the side of a mountain, it could be difficult for some rigs to get to certain sites. Very convenient to the Blue Ridge Parkway and to interstate 77. There is a great deli within a mile of the campground with delicious food.

We were put on site 44 which as it turns out is the worst camp site in the campground. My husband has an artificial knee and fell over the bank trying to get in and out of the truck. It was the worst camp site we have ever tried to use and we have been camping since The road is steep and it was very difficult to back into the site. If not for our 4 wheel drive we could not have gotten backed in.

Would highly recommend!! From the moment we arrived and a KOA representative met us at the truck ���� AND we had an escort to our site! That with the delightful smell of smoked brisket that they would deliver right to your site set the stage! Had a wonderful weekend! Will return. 10/10! ��������������������

Beautiful park, beautifully maintained. Fabulous KOA staff members. Best bathroom/shower facility of any KOA, and we’ve been all over the US. A plus that the owner makes his own BBQ daily—so nice on check-in day! There are many little restaurants, unique shops and even a winery nearby. Worth staying four nights that we did.

Dave and Angie have worked hard to make Fancy Gap a great place to camp. From all the unique craft characters placed throughout the campground, to the always attentive staff riding by. The campground is clean, safe, and offers so much to many different camping styles.

The campground is top notch! We enjoy the location being right off the parkway and close to the city of Hillsville and Galax. The campground is immaculate and the staff can be seen daily working to keep it this way. The Owners are very friendly and ensure that everything is perfect for your stay. We love the cooler temperatures in the summer here with an elevation right at 3,000 feet.

A beautiful weekend with friends , a lovely setting in the woods the campground is very nice and the hosts are top notch. Dave has a smoker set up with the best brisket and pulled pork. Definitely a return visit

We had a great stay, everyone we interacted with were nice, site was somewhat level and hook ups worked properly. Just be aware that navigating to your site is not for a novice driver, very steep incline with hair pin turns.

I really loved my stay at this campground. The registration staff were amazing. My campsite was awesome. All the cute sculptures around the campground were adorable. Definitely would come back and definitely recommend it.

I’ve never seen a business run so well! It’s all about customer service and they have it down! Like staying at a five star hotel. The bbq was delicious and they even delivered a pizza right to our rv. Nice pool and what looked like an 18 hole putting area. Truly an rv “resort”. Also we got a dog pen spot and it was as big as most places dog areas. Even had a fire pit inside the dog pen!

was just an overnight stay, but the campground is very well maintained and staff is very friendly. If we are ever in the area again we would definitely stay again.

Outstanding KOA! The customer service was amazing. The park was decorated for Halloween which was beautiful! The owners definitely take pride of ownership. They also offer food delivered to your campsite!
