This is the best maintained KOA we’ve ever stayed at! The staff is friendly, the store is great, the campsites are well maintained, the WiFi is good, the onsite cooked food is superb and the sites are spacious! Well, I hope I didn’t leave anything out! Obviously we are very happy here; very relaxing!

We enjoyed our stay. Area kept very clean. Bath house very clean at all times. Angie and Dave with the Outstanding staff provide a outstanding place to relax and enjoy. The food available was outstanding. Would recommend this KOA to all. Very nice patio sight. We really enjoy staying here.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Our cabin was clean and provided all we needed- linens, coffee maker and kuerig, fridge, microwave, stove, utensils and more. Nice lake and fire pits. We’ll be back!

We decided on your campground late on Sunday afternoon, while traveling north from SC. I called and left a message and got a quick return call. Reservations were made and it was a wonderful stop on our journey! Absolutely adorable campground.

The campground is beautiful and well cared for. My family really enjoyed our weekend. All of the koa staff members were very friendly and helpful! We look forward to coming back again!

It was wonderful. The employees of Fancy Gap were friendly and went over and beyond with our stay. The cabin was spotless. Grounds were beautiful.

Very short 1 night cabin stay but all worked out fine. Issue with main bed but there were 2 others, so no problem. BBQ sandwich was Good as usual!! Got to see lots of Deer on the way back to 77 at 3 AM.

It was a quiet area. Very cute area tucked in the woods. The pond was a fun experience with our children to fish. The owners were very nice and we were able to move our site closer to friends. Would stay again.

Very nice campgrounds!! The brisket and smoked Mac and cheese was excellent! We had a beautiful site and enjoyed our time there.

This is one of our places to come regularly. It is always beautiful and well kept and the staff has without fail made us feel welcomed and at home while we are there.

The pizza was SO delicious! The bathrooms were immaculate as was the laundry facility. Friendly, helpful, quick to respond to any questions or requests.

We were assigned spot #42. It had such a sharp incline there was no way we could ever get level and open the slide safely. I called to request another site & the woman rudely questioned why I didn't like the site I was on, she finally agreed we could move to site #60 but it had the main campground road running DIRECTLY next to it. Poor sites are carved into very hilly terrain with sharp turns

This is a great KOA campground. Very nice landscaping. Excellent hookups. Level sites. Awesome bath houses. And the staff is as nice as can be. It’s a great stay every time!

We were greeting curbside when we arrived and led to our site. The site was perfect for our needs and all facilities were clean and well maintained. Ordered a pizza that was also delivered to our site.

From the moment we arrived to the time we left your staff was extremely helpful. The facilities were clean, the shop was so cute and the campground was decorated so pretty for fall. This is by far the best KOA we have ever stayed at! We will definitely be back! Thanks for everything!

We Love this Campground!! Great Friendly staff! Love the Smokehouse food and it is even delivered right to your site!! Clean restrooms and well maintained grounds!

Very beautiful camp ground. We had a really nice back-in site. The shower house was probably the nicest and cleanest we’ve ever seen while RVing.

Was in 76 could not get RV level, plummeted by walnuts sounded like gun fire alot of time. Left 2 days early could not take it 4 days. Would come back but ask for different site. RV is way to expensive to have this type of issues. Asked to move was told we could not.

Great cabins. The staff are awesome! The food is very good. We were able to explore the Blue Ridge parkway into NC and the following days up into VA. The fire was easy to start and the kitchen was perfect for us. We would like to come next time when the pool is open. Their little pond was adorable. I loved watching the cows across the street in morning and the birds in the bamboo at sunset.

Great park. Lots of small touches that show the owners care. That includes sculptures along the roads and even a device in dog park to pick up dog dropping. Friendly staff. Good BBQ. Clean facilities. Would return again.

Absolutely best paw pen. We have stayed at many KOA's with paw pens but this was a paw pen was over the top. Paw pen was huge (maybe 30 x 30), shaded, clean. We have used Fancy Gap KOA for many years as a stop on the way to the beach but first time we used the paw pen ones as there was no paw pens the last time we stayed. We will be stopping on the way back home again in Oct. Staff was friendly.

Customer service is impeccable - the bath houses are exceptionally clean very homey - with pretty shower curtains. Trash pick-up at your site and the # 1 service Dave's BBQ menu Smokes right at the office patio area - you can call in or text your order (varied menu) and the staff will deliver right to your campsite. Close to many attractions , blue ridge parkway , Mt. Airy ( Mayberry). excellent!

Great out of the way stop. Staff is wonderful! Super quiet, very clean, easy in and out. Spaces pretty level and the dsign is very nice with the multiple levels of the campground.

Outstanding KOA! The customer service was amazing. The park was decorated for Halloween which was beautiful! The owners definitely take pride of ownership. They also offer food delivered to your campsite!
