This was my second stay here and I'll be back. I especially like that you're surrounded by forest and that the Blue Ridge Parkway is right next door. And I love the fact that I could order a meal delivered to my site. I had the barbecue sandwich and baked beans and it was exceptional. Next time I'll stay longer.

Lovely campground, but the weekend rates were somewhat usury. Probably because of the BB festival. If we stay again we will avoid the weekend.

We always enjoy our stays at Fancy Gap KOA. The campground is very well kept and quiet. The staff is very friendly, welcoming and helpful. There are many things to see and do along the Blue Ridge Parkway. Look forward to going back this fall.

Nice KOA. People were nice and the campground was clean. Pet friendly. Our site was on a hill and was a bit difficult getting to it. Larger rigs may have some issues.

We stayed in site 41, with the private dog area. Once we got set up and got the dogs settled, we realized that this was one of the nicest campgrounds we’ve stayed in. The Staff was so friendly, the pool was nice and clean, a so much shade throughout the campground. One of our favorite places now and we’ll be coming back.

First visit, loved the campground. We will definitely be back. Friendly, caring staff, campground is beautifully kept. Best food we had was in the campground and they will deliver it to your site. Was very easy to get to, beautiful, peaceful place.

Everything was fine except for the tv cable was out and that pushed everyone onto the WiFi. Most of the time the WiFi was slow to nonexistent. We did have cell service so we weren’t without modern communication. I understand that things happen. Still a beautiful campground that is well managed and cared for. Love the continued upgrades to the property!

Very enjoyable stay! Loved the cool refreshing mountain air, dinner delivery, our cabin, firepit area, riding the Parkway and overall relaxation.

This is our 3rd stay and each time just gets better. This trip we stayed in Cabin 47 the “Treehouse” cabin!! It was wonderful. The cabin was spotlessly clean and the fenced in lot was perfect for our pup. All the staff are friendly and helpful. The entire campground is well maintained with manicured flower gardens. Great site and great service. I will definitely be using KOAs more. This was my first time at a KOA because I always try to find a state park, but I am going to look for KOAs as well from now on because of nice the experience and staff were.

This is a lovely campground but we had no electric on our site when we arrived and had to wait over an hour to get it fixed. I had heard other guests say they also had no power because of an ant infestation at the main box, why not fix it then, why make us wait???

We always enjoy staying at the Fancy Gap KOA! This past week was no exception. The staff are all so friendly and everyone like special guests. We especially enjoy the ribs, brisket and pizza!

Nice overnight. Friendly staff meet is at the coach and never got out. They escorted us to our Site 55 and it was long enjoy for us not to disconnect our Jeep. We are 62 feet.

Exceptionally clean, we stayed in a deluxe cabin. So many little personal touches that make your stay comfortable. The fire pit was awesome and we had a little back porch off the bedroom that overlooked the fishing pond. Landscaping was so pretty and well kept. We could tell how much time and work they put into their campground. Everyone was so friendly, staff and guests as well.

First the campground map on line was completely inaccurate, the lot 76 I paid to pick looks like a standard back in was not that at all. The lot was parallel to the road, my front left slide was actually in the road. Second the campground itself has very tight turns and is not big rig friendly what so ever. I will not book there again. On a positive note the people there were great, services ++

We are are mountian camping at its very best. We are big rig capable. Making a future reservation and checking out our 360 Virtual Tour on our website will be very helpful making reservations.

This is an exceptionally beautiful KOA. I am not sure why it is ranked Journey as it seems to be a Holiday to me. Each camping site offer a beautiful view of nature while still on a lovely manicured site. Decorative art is everywhere. Staff was friendly and kind. Food from the Smokehouse was fantastic! Recommend this to everyone! So nice!

We always enjoy staying at Fancy Gap KOA. Friendly staff and close proximity to the mountains make it an awesome experience. Dave's Smokehouse selections are a real treat on days we don't feel like cooking!!

This was probably the best KOA that I have ever stayed at. They are super efficient at check in. Also very friendly and welcoming. The tent site I stayed at was roomy and set apart with a great place for tent set up and a picnic table that was covered and had a light. Also food was available to order and was delivered right to your campsite. The pizza was so good! I would definitely stay again!

This is a very pretty and well-maintained park. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The area is beautiful and not too busy. The only reason I gave them four stars instead of five is because their WIFI is very erratic. I talked with one of the staff and he said they were looking into upgrading the system, if they do that this place would be perfect!

Great weekend in spite of some scary thunderstorms. Sorry for folks who lost out on some activities due to weather but as always Angie and her great crew did all the were able to keep the world spinning. Though my wife and I will personally miss the next opportunity our group will return to Fancy Gap KOA in September. Thank you, Angie and the crew!

On the map they give you it says that this campground won KOA of the year and definitely understand why. The campground employees were so nice, if you order food from the restaurant they deliver it to you via golf cart. The site I reserved had a pen for my dog and it was large and clean. The campground was beautiful, quiet, and very clean. I hope they win again next year.
