Fancy Gap campground is a definite stop if traveling the blue ridge highway. The staff are super friendly, the grounds are pristine and bathroom facilities are top notch.

Dave, Angie (owners) and Tim and his wife (camp hosts) we all very welcoming, helpful and made every effort to make our stay a memorable one. There are many campsite options. We enjoyed our pull through pation site very much.

The best KOA I have ever stayed at. Everyone was super friendly the bathrooms were the cleanest bathrooms I have ever used. The site was fantastic, they went all out making our stay great. We love this campground. We will definitely return

I love this place! Beautiful surroundings, excellent staff, it’s one of my favorite campgrounds on the east coast. Bathrooms are always clean. Great location right off the parkway. Great food available onsite and close by. I will be back again!

We were on vacation for 6 nights. The koa is beautiful and clean. The staff was great. We like to go to fancy gap and visit some of the breweries in the area. The location is perfect. Thank you staff at Fancy Gap KOA.

Great folks- Met us from the get go and continued to take care of everything- Dave's barbecue is a home run and the service is out of control good-- very quiet and easy to use campground- thanks for making a long journey easy on the last day!!!

Well, you can't do much about the weather, except make the most of Plan B and we did. The three-bedrooms, two full baths lodge is beautifully decorated with a complete kitchen and laundry room. We enjoyed a campfire before the weather turned wet and played games and worked puzzles and took naps. The great room was plenty big for our family. We loved the Lodge and have booked it for 2027. Thanks!

We love the Fancy Gap KOA. It’s one of the nicest and most well run KOA campgrounds we’ve come across. We spend at least a week there every year during the fall color season on the Blue Ridge Parkway. The K9 campsites are great for pet owners, the sites are all spaced really well, and the property is well maintained.

It is a beautiful campground ! I loved that when we pulled in, the beautiful lady came to our camper and checked us in right there !! the escort was waiting for us !!! We were treated like royalty !! We will be back !!!

What a great campground! First, the people were awesome. Friendly and hospitable. And the campground is clean, scenic and fun. I was sending pictures to friends and family and theyre looking for a way to visit. I've stayed at a lot of KOAs over the past 25 years, Fancy Gap stands out as memorable!

Another overnight stop for us, but the cabin was clean, bathhouse clean, grounds very well kept and staff super friendly as usual. We can never say anything bad about this KOA, one of the best.

Great stay as always. Cabin was clean and ready for us after hours when we checked in. Bathhouse is always clean and well kept. Very well kept grounds and super friendly staff. Always nice to run into the owners on our visits, that is what makes this place one of the best KOA's we stay at. Hopefully we will be back next year, just depends on our jobs

This was a very nice day at Fancy Gap, and probably our eighth time staying there. We’ll look at dates and book for next year soon, and probably a few in between. Thanks for a great escape.

The staff and owners were very welcoming. You can see the pride that everyone takes in making sure our stay was enjoyable. My parents owned a campground for 32 years and my wife and I have traveled extensively throughout the U.S. for many years. I rate this campground in the top five for service, cleanliness and just plain fun! The campground was beyond my expectations! Thanks.

We met friends here for a weekend on the Parkway. The campground was at capacity, but it is so well planned it didn’t feel crowded. We encountered transmission issues with our truck and had to delay our departure. Angie, the owner, worked with us to extend our stay, arranged incoming reservations so we didn’t have to move, and gave us golf cart rides. It’s not good customer service, it’s f

Great location with great amenities. Stayed in the peak of the season and enjoyed all the surrounding areas. Would definitely be back!

We always stay at Fancy Gap KOA as a stopping point to and from Myrtle Beach. It is a beautiful campground, exceptionally clean restroom/showers that offer total privacy, and very polite and helpful staff.

Great!! Fantastic koa with a great staff, but people have to remember fancy gap koa is in the mountains of VA and is right on the blue ridge parkway.

Welcoming and truely friendly staff adds to the beautiful setting and well maintained campground. We love the easy access to the Blue Ridge Parkway, and into towns like Hillsville, Floyd, and the Chateau Morrisette winery. I love walking my dogs down to the pond, early in the morning-so lovely. Dave's bbq and brisket is a treat. Looking forward to coming back in June!

Beautiful location and the staff is very knowledgeable, friendly and kind. They are very quick to help you if you need help. We had the BQ meal and it was delicious. Two thumbs up!!

There is no way there could possibly be a better KOA than the Fancy Gap VA! The hosts and campground employees are always SO nice. The facilities are always so well kept. The food and campground store are awesome! Thank you for another awesome experience!

We are new to camping with KOA but we couldn’t be more pleased with our stay! The campground is lovely, the staff were super friendly and helpful and we loved our campsite. We were disappointed that we couldn’t stay longer!

We were greeted immediately with a friendly face upon pulling in after a long, difficult trip. We were escorted to our spot directly so no guessing involved, we pulled in and set up. It was all that easy. Thanks for a good nights sleep with no worries!

Beautiful location. Deluxe cabin was so very nice with a view of the pond and trees and was very quiet. Cabin was supplied with clean linens, towels, dishes, silverware, microwave, range top, pans, full refrigerator/freezer. The owners of the KOA were friendly and very helpful. Prices were fair and reasonable. I would highly recommend this KOA.

Outstanding KOA! The customer service was amazing. The park was decorated for Halloween which was beautiful! The owners definitely take pride of ownership. They also offer food delivered to your campsite!
