This is the best campground. It's so peaceful and all of the workers are always friendly and helpful. The pulled pork is amazing. This was our 3rd visit and will most definitely be back!

Wish we were there for more than one night! We will be back! One suggestion is to put the food service hours on the sheet that’s attached to your checkin. When I first saw it I was so excited because I thought I wouldn’t have to cook dinner that night. But then I called and they were closed�.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We so wish you were here before we closed. Our kitchen closes at 6:30 nightly. And so sorry we didn't pull your menu to keep you from salavating for our Smokehouse. We look forward to welcoming you again soon. Happy Trails

We love coming here every year. It’s a great campground with lovely amenities right down to the ice cream truck that rounds nightly and the home cooked food available. Very family friendly.

The Fancy Gap KOA was a great getaway. It was marvelously maintained and beautified. The staff was extremely helpful and courteous too. They met you as you pulled in and escorted you to your campsite. They also helped us backup our trailer during a rainstorm. All in all a nice stay. Definitely recommended to escape the crowds and heat in other summer locations.

We only stayed one night but was impressed as we pulled up that they greeted us at our vehicle and got all our information and we were on to our site within 1-2 minutes. Site was very level and were able to keep the truck attached to our fifth wheel. They also serve food but we didn't partake. Camp store is well stocked and we picked up a new sticker map for our new camper.

We stay here at least one time per year. And not as a stop over. This is a planned trip and stay a week. This is a peaceful campground, the staff alway have a kind word and very friendly. This will continue to be a yearly trip.

We really like this campground and try to come at least once a year! The campground is clean and the staff is really friendly. They even deliver dinner! The only thing that could be improved on is the water pressure (not enough) and the cable. Then it rains it goes out.

Exceptional customer service. We arrived late, and even though staff weren't on-site, there was a clearly prepared instruction packet with my name on it waiting for us, which made check-in seamless. The campsite is very clean, including the bathrooms, and everything is well maintained. Our site had both electric hookups and a water spigot, which made the stay very convenient. There's also a stocked pond for bass and catfish, a swimming pool, and several activities to keep kids entertained. I've heard the BBQ here is good as well, though I didn't try it. We stayed for two nights over the Juneteenth weekend (2026) and had a great experience.

One of the nicest KOA's we've stayed at. Great layout, well maintained. Site was pretty level and good spacing. The store was amazing, they have great BBQ and the staff was so friendly and accommodating. There is a pool, playground and gem mining for the kids. Would definitely recommend and will stay again if ever in the area.
