This was a wonderful place to rest and refit after coming down out of the Arctic. Clean quiet site with friendly knowledgeable staff. Very clean showers and restrooms. No mosquitos was a plus!!!

It was great. Check in was super easy. Both ladies at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. I love the text confirmation, welcome and other information. The park is clean, has everything we need and more. It is super close to where my daughter lives so that really gives it a plus. The park is clean and it was very quiet. We will definitely stay there again! Thankyou.

Well kept campground with well groomed parking spaces beside grassy areas. Large laundry facility. Wifi was intermittent during evening hours.

When rebooking additional nights, were only offered the higher priced sites, not the lower priced ones. The site was $79.95 per night for full hookups, and we couldn’t even get regular antenna TV stations without using our own Wifi hot spot. The site was cramped, dogs left in an RV nearby barked a lot; we could hear conversations clearly. Overpriced KOA! Only bright spot - Grounds guys helpf

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

When you were so unhappy, why did you extend your stay? You made reservation last minute - but we fit you in our overflow site with no sewer for $ 66.95 which we normally don't rent. When you extended, we needed you to move to a regular site at regular price ($ 10 lower than competition in town).

We are local RVers from right here in Fairbanks. Nice to see this campground thriving again after covid! We came just to bring our grandkids out for a night in the camper that was not too far from home. They rode their bikes, played on the playground and enjoyed the river swings. It was a really fun family time!

Great location. Roads needed leveling(a lot of potholes) and in need of gravel on roads and sites. Our site needed mowing when arriving. Thought the laundry building was cute with the flowers in the old ringer washers.

Pros: Riverfront is lovely. No bugs! Setting Bathrooms are nice. Cons: Cost They charge extra for a second child, and for pets. Water is gross. It’s worse in the back of the park. Sites behind the office hear constant puzzling from electrical system. Dude on golf cart driving around constantly offering unwanted advice - felt we were being watched. Thank you for coming back and staying with us again. As per receipt, you were not charged extra for the child nor for the dog. For a more enjoyable stay book a site in the main section of the park like you did the other times. For the water we highly recommend using a filter as it has high iron.

Really enjoyed our stay at Fairbanks/Chena River KOA. Nice big sites nice area to watch the river from. Great showers and laundry room. Easy drive to get to everything we wanted to see in Fairbanks and North Pole.

Camp sites are too close together. Felt like I was in my neighbors living area.

Our first trip to the Fairbanks area we had 9 days of rain and a terrible campgrounds. Our KOA stop in Fairbanks was a breath of fresh air compared to that. Nice campgrounds, full hookups, good amenities, and nice people.

Staff were very helpful and accommodating. We were not happy with our first site so we were allowed to move to a new site which was great. The game area with the fire pits was really neat.

Nice staff. Clean area. Assisted with finding the site. Laundry room clean. Didn’t shower, but I’m sure it is also maintained well. Nice two seater wooden swings near water edge.

Clean laundry. Free rv wash site a plus. Staff was helpful. The pull-thru site was a bit cramped and had no trees but clean and functional. Good no frills place to stay as a Fairbanks base while you explore the area

Great friendly RV park. Easy parking with pull through and back in full hookups. Staff was great, sites were well maintained. We are local but we still like to get away for a few days. Stayed here many times and will continue to return for the occasional weekend.

Campground is good. It has cleans showers and a clean laundry room with plenty of washers and dryers. The only reason I did not give it a 5 for service, is that I thought the owner could have made a little more effort in accommodating us. We were staying 2 nights. We were traveling in 3 separate RVs, and thus made 3 different reservations. It was the start of the season so the campground was not sold out. It was going to be a whole ordeal for her to put us close together, so we were spread out throughout the camp, despite there being plenty of open sites throughout.
