Management is very accommodating to our needs and a pleasure to work with. Restrooms and showers are extremely clean with ample hot water. Campsites are clean and well maintained.

Nice campground. Stayed here 4 years ago under Riverview RV name. Price has gone up significantly since then. Close to 60 %. Prices are high everywhere, people are kinda stuck with over inflated prices at some campgrounds.

From arrival to departure. Excellent stay. Clean site, prompt check in, staff was friendly and professional. We stay here a couple times a year and keep coming back because of the items stated above.

It was very quiet. Loved the two areas for the dogs to run. And also loved the swings by the river. Extremely peaceful.

Large open spots, few trees. Good laundry facility and plenty of clean private shower rooms. Good location off main hwy near river.

This is a beautiful RV Park where there is a lot to do in the area. The campground is well maintained, the showers and bathrooms are practically spotless. Also, the Manager: Kim, went out of her way to help us while we were there. Good internet service and cell signals (for T-mobile). I would definitely go back to this KOA if ever back in the area.

Every stay at the Fairbanks/Chena River KOA has been great. Office is friendly and helpful, laundry room extremely clean, campsites clean and level. We will always stay there on our Alaska trips. Thank you!

Been staying here (almost) every year for decades. Very welcoming, very well maintained, and friendly (including pets). Park had many nice amenities and KOA has added even more since taking over. However, the WiFi has gotten too slow recently - and I wasn't streaming or downloading/uploading large files. Just email and some minimal browsing. Thanks for another great stay!

I managed this campground from 2000–2021 when it was known as Riverview RV Park, so I don’t hand out praise lightly. The improvements made over the last few years are outstanding. Beautiful upgrades, spotless grounds, and a welcoming atmosphere. Easily one of the nicest RV parks in Alaska now. Highly recommend!

Great facilities, but owner could have been a little more accommodating. We were traveling in 3 RVs, and thus needed 3 separate reservations. After making the reservations, we called and asked if we could be given sites close to each other. When we arrived, it was going to be a major ordeal to place us close together each other, even though the park was not even halfway occupied.

We DID NOT STAY at the KOA campground in Fairbanks. Nobody there, tried to book, made a reservation, but nothing available to get in the showers/toilets. Also DO NOT CALL US FOR NUMBERS TO GET IN THE SHOWERS ETC...... This was for us enough, after a full day driving from Denali, beginning with 2" of snow ending up at this KOA location. Went to River's Edge Resort RV Park. Felt like home!!

Best KOA we’ve stayed at. Spotlessly clean, gas fire /bbq /table and chairs all in very good condition, washing facilities excellent, toilet and bathroom block great, children’s area lovely, grass area next to river well kept. Also got to see the Northern Lights! Only negative was the helicopter night flights from the nearby military base and the local bikers using the road as a speedway track

The sites are long and level. Laundry facilities clean, lots of washers and dryers, all are clean and in good repair. Perfect location if flying out of Fairbanks for other Alaskan adventures. Owners are super nice, attentive and accommodating . Thanks for a great stay.

Nicole was wonderful! We had a family emergency resulting in my 84 year old mom being admitted to Fairbanks Memorial. Everything was very chaotic and uncertain. She was really helpful. During our stay it was also very obvious this koa is well managed. The bathrooms and laundry rooms were clean and functional! Best KOA we’ve ever stayed at!

Great Campground right on the river. Quiet location and the bathrooms and showers were amazing. Both were VERY clean and the shower had both good pressure and temperature!!!!! Very nice staff was friendly and helpful!!!!!

Beautiful well maintained campground. Loved the fire pit, deck, and grill on our site. Appreciated the dog park. Staff was very responsive to our needs and questions.

Great friendly RV park. Easy parking with pull through and back in full hookups. Staff was great, sites were well maintained. We are local but we still like to get away for a few days. Stayed here many times and will continue to return for the occasional weekend.

Campground is good. It has cleans showers and a clean laundry room with plenty of washers and dryers. The only reason I did not give it a 5 for service, is that I thought the owner could have made a little more effort in accommodating us. We were staying 2 nights. We were traveling in 3 separate RVs, and thus made 3 different reservations. It was the start of the season so the campground was not sold out. It was going to be a whole ordeal for her to put us close together, so we were spread out throughout the camp, despite there being plenty of open sites throughout.
