The Interior of Alaska is a "Must-Do / Must-See" adventure while visiting the Last Frontier. Words don't describe - it is truly a different world.
We have been RV campers for many years and visited many places. After having moved from Switzerland and settled in the USA with our two daughters, we owned and operated a motel in Moab, Utah. A few years later we decided to set foot in the campground business and took over our first campground - a KOA in North Eastern Utah. A few years later we were ready for a new adventure - never had we thought that it would be in Alaska. One day my wife came across a not very prominent sales listing and asked me, "how about an RV park in North Pole, Alaska?". I said "no way" that is way up there - even though we always wanted to go and experience Alaska someday. It seemed like that "someday" was "today"... We still gave it some thoughts and the more we started to look at this opportunity, the more we got hooked and just had to make it happen. While we face some different challenges in the Last Frontier, we are proud to own such a great piece of Alaskan property at a beautiful location, making it a great camping experience for our guests. That doesn't mean this area has to always be empty. When you start reviewing camping options, your history will display here to help compare sites and find the best stay. You will be able to share your stay information with friends or family and save it for a later time if you have a KOA Account.
