This is our 2nd stay here while our son takes part in Alaska Speed Week. The campground is exactly what he needs after all of the miles he puts on and racing he does. He can relax, take a hot shower, and just unwind. We love how nice the staff is as well. We will be back for Speed Week 2026.

Amazing campground! Patio site was PERFECT and the bathhouse was stocked and clean. Epic laundry room with plenty of units. Hosts went out of their way to help when we needed assistance. Loved our stay!

Starlink was throttled and almost unusable. Proximity to North Pole Santa Claus facility was nice; fairly close to Fairbanks too. Sites were long but close together. Next time probably find something else or boondock.

Lovely quiet site on the banks of the Chena River with sparkling clean showers and toilets. Excellent facilities all round and very warm welcome from our host. Would definitely stay again when in Fairbanks.

We stayed 3 nights while sightseeing in the area. The back in site we had was fine for that. Most of the sites are narrow, but easy to get in and out of. The patio sites looked very nice and have more room if you plan to spend time at the campground. Very clean and everything worked as expected. Staff was helpful and pleasant.

Brian & Nicole were awesome, friendly & very helpful. Nicely maintained, spotless bathrooms & showers. The swings by the river were welcoming. It was a highlight of our trip.

Very nice spot. We are early season and had no trouble booking. Hosts were very nice to text me bath codes and site since we were arriving after hours. I was confused by showers being an add on for $10. Luckily showers were included! I did not pay the extra money.

Excellent amenities! This is a great jumping off point for our Fairbanks adventures. Check-in was a breeze and extending for a day no problem this time of year, and thankful for Kayla’s good natured help and conversation. We will certainly be back.

We were in Fairbanks to resupply and regroup before continuing on our Alaska adventure. We found the campground facilities extremely clean and comfortable with gracious, kind and helpful staff.

My family and I stayed here one weekend when my son had a tennis match in Fairbanks. This site was super cute, quiet, and clean. The bathrooms and showers were very clean and very well maintained. We really loved the patio that had cornhole, jinga, and connect four to play, as well as cozy chairs with tabletop firepits to stay warm during the colder evenings. We will stay here again.

Overall we were happy with our stay here. The sites were nice and there were wonderful private showers that were pretty clean depending on when you showed up. The dog park was small but nice. We would stay here again.

We stayed multiple days having to extend each day due to family issues. The staff was extremely helpful and accommodated our multiple extensions easily. The facilities were first rate and everything was in excellent shape. We had an excellent time at the “Northern most KOA in the US!”

The grounds are kept beautifully. The staff is beyond helpful, in fact. I could hardly step out of our coach to take a bag of trash to the dumpster without being asked if they could help by taking it for us. I loved our stay and even saw the Aurora Borealis on the one clear evening of our stay. That was a memory that Fairbanks Chena River KOA will always be a part of. Thank you

My boyfriend and I traveled from California to Alaska and back. Fairbanks/Chena River KOA was the best campground we stayed at for our whole trip. The campground is very well maintained, clean and well organized.

Great friendly RV park. Easy parking with pull through and back in full hookups. Staff was great, sites were well maintained. We are local but we still like to get away for a few days. Stayed here many times and will continue to return for the occasional weekend.

Campground is good. It has cleans showers and a clean laundry room with plenty of washers and dryers. The only reason I did not give it a 5 for service, is that I thought the owner could have made a little more effort in accommodating us. We were staying 2 nights. We were traveling in 3 separate RVs, and thus made 3 different reservations. It was the start of the season so the campground was not sold out. It was going to be a whole ordeal for her to put us close together, so we were spread out throughout the camp, despite there being plenty of open sites throughout.
