Camp sites are too close together. Felt like I was in my neighbors living area.

We are sorry you were not happy with your site - but would have appreciated if you mentioned this during your stay, so we could have checked to see if a larger site would have been available for a more enjoyable stay. Our first trip to the Fairbanks area we had 9 days of rain and a terrible campgrounds. Our KOA stop in Fairbanks was a breath of fresh air compared to that. Nice campgrounds, full hookups, good amenities, and nice people.

Staff were very helpful and accommodating. We were not happy with our first site so we were allowed to move to a new site which was great. The game area with the fire pits was really neat.

Nice staff. Clean area. Assisted with finding the site. Laundry room clean. Didn’t shower, but I’m sure it is also maintained well. Nice two seater wooden swings near water edge.

Clean laundry. Free rv wash site a plus. Staff was helpful. The pull-thru site was a bit cramped and had no trees but clean and functional. Good no frills place to stay as a Fairbanks base while you explore the area

WiFi was claiming to be good enough to stream movies and when I tried to open Amazon to shop it took about a minute to load. When I asked about the speed I was told it must be my phone or trailer interfering. I was put in a. Site that was to short for my rig and was told that I can park my truck at the end of the park in there overflow parking

We are sorry your WiFi issues resulted in an unhappy experience. We performed a speed test and reached 7MB/s by your trailer. Streaming is not guaranteed, but WiFi works well. Your site was 45ft long. If you need more space, our 50/30 Amp sites are 70ft long for only a few $ more per night.

Rained a lot which pointed out areas that needed more gravel. Many mud puddles to avoid when walking the dog. The dog park needs more grass or gravel as well. My dog got pretty dirty when playing in the park. Site was nice and level and park was very quiet.

It was a great place to stay. It was spotless and had outstanding bathrooms and showers. I recommend it for the entire family. The staff was amiable and helpful.

Great campground! Not in Fairbanks, but close enough you can go when you need to. Great showers and laundry facilities! Would stay here if ever in the area.

Great laundry facility! Our site was a bit undeveloped this time. Would recommend staying here, it's out of the way but close enough to everything.

Wonderful central location for touring. Clean clean bathroom, showers and laundry. Added plus- a moose buggle greeted us every morning at 6:30. We loved it!

One of the best, if not the best KOA campgrounds we have ever stayed at. I can see many KOA awards coming your way. Because everything is so new is the only reason you have not got the credit you deserve. Thanks once again for the wonderful stay, and the friendly hospitality of your staff. Typically we don’t care for KOAs because the sites are so close together. This KOA was typical. The sites are very crowded. So the sites don’t get high marks from me. However the staff was wonderful and friendly. The laundry was great. The best part was the car wash area. If you have spent any time traveling in Alaska then you need a car wash. This and the laundry are reason enough ti stay her

In reservations let people reserve a spot on campground, not a specific spot. Those travelers that don't use the internet much get moved around because of that policy. I got moved 3 times.

Old section of the campground is VERY cramped! Back in spots are straight in and from the blindside and very awkward because of large units across from you that have their tow rigs parked in the road. Spots are very close together and noisy neighbors kept us up at all hours. Would not recommend the small back-in to anyone with a trailer. Picture and description on web-site is very deceiving….

Thank you for your feedback and we are sorry you did not enjoy your stay. Yes, the smaller - cheaper sites are closer and shorter - ideal for smaller rigs. We will update the description. For a more enjoyable stay we recommend to book a larger site in the main section of the park.

Absolutely the best we've stayed at. We've been on a cross country trip since May 1st and have stayed at many many places and Fairbanks/Chena River KOA is the absolute best. We got the KOA Patio site and it was amazing. Big, Quiet, Patio & Grill were all perfect. Thank you

Fairbanks Chena River KOA is absolutely amazing spot for any RV campers. The best we had in our multi-day journey from Seward to Fairbanks. The only cons is that it is more expensive than regular camp sites, but it gave us a nice tasty breath of civilization between very basic camp services in other places. Recommended for sure.

Great friendly RV park. Easy parking with pull through and back in full hookups. Staff was great, sites were well maintained. We are local but we still like to get away for a few days. Stayed here many times and will continue to return for the occasional weekend.

Campground is good. It has cleans showers and a clean laundry room with plenty of washers and dryers. The only reason I did not give it a 5 for service, is that I thought the owner could have made a little more effort in accommodating us. We were staying 2 nights. We were traveling in 3 separate RVs, and thus made 3 different reservations. It was the start of the season so the campground was not sold out. It was going to be a whole ordeal for her to put us close together, so we were spread out throughout the camp, despite there being plenty of open sites throughout.
