We loved staying here! The bathrooms and showers were always clean. We loved our tent site, close to the wooded area and beautiful fireweed. Our dog loved the dog areas and we always met friendly neighbors! We forgot a spatula and was able to buy it in the office!

We return here each year. We make reservations a yr out. This yr we reserved the special pario site. Fireplace in table. Which we used at night. And loved we had a great clean propane grill we used. We did not have to drag ours out. We already have reservations next July. Staff. ESP one of the owners stoped by. Very nice. Loved the tour groups Fun to visit. Grounds were kept great.

The owners/front desk are incredibly helpful with adjusting stays and helping with mail. We used Fairbanks as a regroup point twice during some long boon docking. The other incredible benefit is the camper cleaning area. Two hoses with great pressure took a lot of the Dalton Highway crust off of our rigs!

This is a very clean and well-kept park. We enjoyed the river, loved the dog parks, & the laundry room was very clean with a nice flow through breeze. Our back-in spot by the trees was very enjoyable. The number of caravans that came through was interesting and we met some nice people. We did NOT like the Freightliner motorhome honking his gigantic horn at 6:22 A.M. Not cool!

Very nice campground. Although the space between sites is tighter than what we generally encounter, all utilities worked great and we enjoyed our stay while visiting attractions in Fairbanks. Owners are great and provided suggestions on places to go. Walmart and shopping not far away. We'd stay here again and recommend the Fairbanks/Chena River KOA.

Not a fan of this campground. Paid full price for half a spot. #10. There was no picnic table available and had to park my tow vehicle on the very little patch of grass we had. Was over charged for a sticker and didn’t notice until I left. Wasn’t worth going back in the office for. Laundry was overpriced. I realize you are way up there, but the Homer KIA has you beat by a mile.

Overall the campground is very nice. Had very few mosquitos and bugs. The staff are exceptional. The sites are nice. The bathrooms and showers are clean. Laundry room was nice with lots of top load washers and front load dryers (Maytag and Whirlpool) that work very well but was the most expensive we had come across. ($4 for wash $3.75 to dry). Needs more group activities for evenings.

It is a good enough KOA, but way too many text messages!!! The night before we arrived I received a message every hour from 1:08 am until 6:08 am!! Also while there at least 2 each day!! The spaces were okay, packed in pretty close.

I am not a big fan of KOA campgrounds. So many seem to sell themselves highly and then on arrival the facility is run down and doesn’t offer what is shown online. The Fairbanks/Chena River KOA is different. We felt safe leaving our rig for a day trip, the showers and laundry room were clean and well maintained (like home), the amenities were a welcome addition. I especially loved the dog park

Site was not too bad was not level but long enough. Right next to laundry so people walked through our site. Office staff was rude when we checked in. Hate the caravans they take all the resources like the laundry.

We stayed here for 6 days. Nice park and great base to explore the area from. We were having issues with our slide and the park staff was helpful in extending our stay and offering to help push the slide in if we needed. Brian and crew are great.

Great friendly RV park. Easy parking with pull through and back in full hookups. Staff was great, sites were well maintained. We are local but we still like to get away for a few days. Stayed here many times and will continue to return for the occasional weekend.

Campground is good. It has cleans showers and a clean laundry room with plenty of washers and dryers. The only reason I did not give it a 5 for service, is that I thought the owner could have made a little more effort in accommodating us. We were staying 2 nights. We were traveling in 3 separate RVs, and thus made 3 different reservations. It was the start of the season so the campground was not sold out. It was going to be a whole ordeal for her to put us close together, so we were spread out throughout the camp, despite there being plenty of open sites throughout.
