We loved our stay here! The view was AMAZING! The staff at this KOA were so friendly and helpful! This has by far been my favorite KOA I’ve stayed at!

Tent sites lined with trees, table, chairs, water, electricity and endless hummingbirds. KOA store stocked with unique gift items. Great access to Central City/Black Hawk for gambling. My only comment I would ask hosts to kindly remind CA motorhome grandma to respect campground quite hours. Woke to barking dog and precocious grandchild Sunday morning. Highly recommend beautiful, clean site.

Our stay was perfect! The cabin was clean and well furnished. The staff was super accommodating and helpful. Angie went above and beyond her normal duties to help me with a special request. I would definitely stay here again on my next trip.

The staff of management was amazing We had family emergency issues. They helped us with our stay. The facility is clean. Well managed and organized. I recommend this KOA to anybody and everybody.

Nice stay in site 65. Loved the view. Tent site 3 - very loud neighbors (T2) on Saturday. They were up drinking loudly until after midnight. Friendly staff.

Nice but had weeds on lot space. Don’t understand why there’s a fire pit in the Paw Pen. Bad idea so such a space especially for dogs because of food droppings and hot coals where your animals can get sick or injured.

Absolutely amazing! Wish we could have stayed longer! The campground was clearly well taken care of, and the facilities/amenities were immaculate. Great proximity to towns, exploring, and other activities. Already planning a return visit for next year with more family!

Extremely nice KOA. Staff very friendly and helpful. The office is well stocked and prices are reasonable. Very clean and well maintained! You can tell the owner reinvests in the property! Wi-Fi was good and so was the pizza and wings! We’ll be back!

Love staying here! Staff are always friendly & helpful! Office hours are very accommodating:) very clean, great breakfast, sites are generous and patio furniture is amazing! Pizza can be delivered to site after a long day of travel. We will be back!

We have stayed at the Central City KOA in June for five years now. We love this KOA. Chuck and his staff are very friendly and helpful. The hot tub is a great way to warm up on those chilly nights. All you can eat pancake breakfast everyday is a plus. Blackhawk and Central City casinos are right down the road. Quiet and secluded campground for a relaxing get-away.

This KOA is one of the best we have ever stayed at. Too bad we just overnighted 2 nights. We should have planned a longer stay. The owner and camp personnel were some of the most helpful for us. We had an AC go bad while in Moab and the temp was 103 F. I found a mobile RV tech Michael Lebelle who has Certified RV Mobile Repair and he ordered me a new AC and installed it at the park. Thanks

Beautiful spot surrounded by splendid scenery. Exceptional staff/grounds. GREAT pizza on site. 8/10 rating simply b/c you are 30 min from yoga, gym, & expanded civilization (Evergreen). Central City/Black Hawk are nearby (< 10 min) if gambling is your thing. Otherwise even Idaho Falls has VERY limited things to do. Denver is a solid hour. VERY West of Denver might a more apt name.

The tent sites are really nice, tucked in the trees. The bathroom and laundry facilities are excellent. The only two drawbacks: the radio in the bathroom is slightly off the station and is irritating; the dumpsters get serviced before 8 a.m. causing an ungodly noise! Otherwise this is a fantastic KOA.

Amazing people and location. Made it easy to get to Boulder for concerts and Denver is only 30 minutes away. Highly recommend this campground.

Beautiful and scenic. Staff were tremendous. The on-site pizza is surprisingly delicious. Only reason for an eight out of 10 is it is very, very far from civilization. If that’s your thing, it’s all good. However, we had to go 30 minutes to get to yoga or gym or a restaurant we would enjoy. If you love gambling, and Casino life, this place is less than 10 minutes from that and you’ll love it

Extremely helpful and friendly to deal with. Everything was clean and in good repair. Definitely the nicest KOA I stayed at. The tent site was wonderful with a table and four chairs, two Adirondack chairs by the fire pit, a picnic table and grill all on a cement pad. Very private site surrounded by trees. No complaints and I would definitely stay here again.

friendly staff, very clean campgrounds, attitude (9000 ft), beautiful scenery looking at the mountains from your camp site. quiet away from the interstate. only wished it didn't hail. unable to sit outside and enjoy the view.

This place is GREAT! We will be back, they were so friendly and helpful. We had problems hooking up the cable and one of the camp workers "Craig" came right over and helped us get it all set up. Then came back and checked on us, really easy going and friendly. A couple days later our dogs got out and the camp workers brought them back to our camper. Again, really nice young people. Thanks again!

Our stay was wonderful! The staff is exceptional, and they pay great attention to every detail. The view is beautiful, and the location is perfect. We have stayed several times before and are looking forward to returning next year.

Thank you Nicole for booking the perfect spot for us. We would’ve stayed longer if there was availability. We loved her customer service. We loved the view. We had never stayed in a Paw Pin now we know will get one every time at KOA. I hope next time we come, we can stay longer.

We got in very late from a concert at red rocks. We had a beautiful clean cabin that felt safe in the middle of beautiful scenery with wonderful, welcoming people that we said hello to and goodbye to all the same time because we had to leave right away the next morning, but for the little bit that we were there, we were treated like family we will be bringing our family to stay for our family vaca

I love this KOA park but is it worth the price?? The park is clean along with the shower and bathroom, the staff were all wonderful, and the view is to die for but the price of $85+/night will sour many people.

The staff members were amazing - every single one of them! The cabins are cute inside..everything is absolutely clean. The only issue we had was the wind, but that is outside of the staff's control😁

We stayed at the campground in July 2023 in a 32' Class C motorhome pulling a small car. We were in campsite #2, a pull-in campsite overlooking the Central City area. Campground, store, and laundry area were great. Only "issue" was the route to get onto Central City Parkway to head back to I-70 was a little confusing as cannot leave the campground the way you enter the campground (no fault of the KOA campground). The Hidee Gold Mine tour was close by and well worth the time (be prepared for a rough road to get to the parking area). Central City was not worth the time to visit - very little to see other than casinos.

Wonderful location, we loved that we were so close to walking trails. The campground was clean and the staff was very nice. We loved the store, it stayed open late and had almost everything that you may need.
