Friendly staff. Quiet in the park but the Interstate traffic was very noisey and hard to sleep through. No trees in the full hookup spot we were assigned but it was overcast so not bad. Dog park is big however the stones used instead of grass are about quarter size and very hard on our small dogs feet. Tried to keep them in a smaller area. It would be nice to have it divided for small & big dogs.

Very nice people. We asked for an extra night due to severe storms at our next location. They agreed and used some of our loyalty points to bring price down. Sooo happy.

Great little campground. Amenities were as listed and easily available. Staff was great! Easy access from the highway. The only surprise we had was the train. Which didn't wake up the kids and was short lived. Wouldn't keep us from coming back. No complaints

This is the third or fourth time we have stayed. We only stay overnite headed to national parks! The new pizza oven was a big hit and delivered to our RV! Quiet and convient before headed over Denver Mts.

Clean cabin, comfortable bed. The mini fridge and microwave are a great plus. The bathroom and shower facilities are top notch and the staff was great.

We needed a place near home to ensure all RV functions were operational...the RV is new to us and we are new to RVing. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful, site was exactly as promised with 50 amp-water-sewer, bbq and patio; the store, pizza and ice cream were nice options. There is some noise, near highway and railroad but not bad enough to be a deal breaker. Loved the rooster!!

Pleasant stay in a clean and quiet campground. Friendly people, good pizza, and good ice cream. The little town of Strasburg is interesting history with railroad story, little shops, and good meat market. Friendly people.

Staff very friendly and attentive. Problem was site was not well maintained. Picnic table was filthy like it hadn't been cleaned or used in weeks. Leaves, trash, cigarette buds in piles on site again like it hadn't been cleaned in weeks. I made my reservation well in advance so they knew we were coming. Also, many full timers.

Overall a very good experience. Staff were helpful and were able to provide numbers for a car service to take us into Denver for our rental car. Jim who works there was exceptional and provided information for activities in the area and other information.

Very friendly staff, it snow during the night and the staff loan us a ladder to get the snow off our slide topper. Also the man next to us help us by putting the ladder in back of his truck to get up higher.

My wife and I were traveling eastbound through Colorado in an effort to avoid a spring storm that was forecasted to bring rain and snow. It was getting late in the afternoon and we needed a place to stay overnight. I checked an app on my phone and discovered Denver East/Strasburg KOA was 15 minutes away. I called, and within seconds had reserved a site. It’s a great, clean, place to stay!

Staff were very friendly and accommodating. The facilities are clean and nice. There is a nice Thai restaurant on the property and the KOA also serves great pizza!

My stay of about 7 months was very good. The owner and entire staff was always very helpful. If I ever have to come back to the Denver area for work, I will definitely want to stay there again!

Nice pull-through trailer spot. No table or shade but that is fine. Clean bathrooms and showers. Great and well-maintained dog park! Lots of fun areas for children to play. There is not a square foot of this KOA that is not thoughtfully landscaped with gravel, rock, wood chip. It is nice to see all the thoughtfulness that goes into the upkeep of a property. We needed to have a cabin for a family member joining and were told there was only one left. It was the higher-end of cabins and there were several simpler ones not rented. You may want to ask about that if you are a cabin person. There are also "old western wagons" for lodge and placed in a wagon circle. That would be a huge hit if you have small children.

We stayed here for one night while traveling west. It's right off the interstate. Nice playground. Spotless showers and bathrooms. Hole in the wall bar across the street if you want to grab a drink or food after a long day. The only bummer was that there was a big sign advertising free breakfast on the weekends but it never opened up. Would stay here again.

This KOA goes the extra mile to please customers! Their attention to detail is evident in the carefully landscaped are among the Conestoga wagons they rent, the cushioned armchairs under the covered outdoor area, the pancakes for sale on the weekend, the updated bathroom ..... This is a great place to just hang out!
