The cabin was very clean and had all the amenities. I will have to say the couch/ daybed was a bit uncomfortable to sit and watch TV. The bed in the in the main bedroom was a bit uncomfortable and could use a new mattress. The campground and staff were great!

We only stayed for one night, but the owner was very nice. He showed us to our campsite and helped us pull in. In the morning he visited with us for a few minutes and then took our trash so we could be on our way. The only reason I gave it a 4 was because the Wi-Fi was very slow and froze up at times. Be aware that this KOA is right off the freeway so a little noisy. It didn’t bother us though.

I have stayed here many times, usually with my camper, but this time we decided to rent a cabin. It's a bit of a tight squeeze, but we spent most of our time outside on the cement patio anyway. The mattresses are the same as a camper so dont expect luxury like a hotel but they were clean and moderately comfortable.

The staff is fantastic. I wish the sites had fire rings. I suppose they are too close to each other. The other issue is that the dryer door kept opening. The campground has lots of amenities.

When we drove in, Jim was there to greet us. He told us about an issue we hadn’t notice on the RV, took us to our spot, chatted with us a little and then let us set us. During our stay he stopped by several times to make sure we had everything we needed and was ready to answer any question we had. We also liked the Hunt’s pizza delivery, was wonderful to have on our first night.

I was met when I drove in, was greeted, led to my site, I did not have to get out of my vehicle. Friendly, helpful service. I stayed here one the trip north and again on the trip back.

We have stayed at the Denver East/Strasburg KOA each year in September for the last five years. Everything has been clean, comfortable and fun. With the technology as it is now (even doing work while out of the office) the internet service needs to be updated. Unless you are sitting in the building the internet is spotty at best.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Thank you for choosing to stay with us. Agree that our WIFI is not the best. Phone company has changed and we have been told, they are looking at maybe being able to bring Fiber Optic lines to Strasburg sometime.... just not sure when at this point. That would speed up connections.

Excellent stay! The park is very nice and we were able to fill our propane tanks and do laundry while we were there. The washing machines and dryers do a great job! The management was very nice and helpful. There are also a couple of good restaurants right across the street, so very handy. This KOA is close to Denver and is a straight shot across I70. We would definitely stay here again!

Lots of amenities things to do for family or couples. Loved the laundromat reasonable prices. Store was big and full . Offered pizza and etc. Reasonable prices and good. Staff very helpful and friendly.

One night stay in a Kabin. Staff were friendly and helpful. Close to good sushi and supplies. Okay campground for just quick stop over. Too close to highway and noise for anything longer.

We paid $61 for one night on Wednesday. 30 amp. No sewer. Right next to I 70. Very loud They were going to move us but added $21 more. $82 for one night not No Way. Won’t be back

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Guest made reservation online in February and choose the 30amp water and electric for their 40' Motorhome towing. Upon checking in, staff asked if they would prefer a 50amp full hook up site. Of course there would be a price difference. Guest choose to stay in the 30amp water and electric site.

We stayed in one of the bigger cabins and were VERY impressed. It was very clean and very cute. We were on a business trip and wished we had more time to enjoy.

Other than the load traffic noise”not the campgrounds fault” my stay was very enjoyable. Great facilities! clean well maintained! Great staff! Love the pizza shop in the store! She even delivered to my cabin!

Clean, convenient location, many amenities and extremely friendly staff. Loved ordering pizza and having it delivered to our site. Only negative was highway noise as it’s right along the highway but it didn’t affect our sleep at all!! Would stay here again!!

The site pads and roadways were gravel but instead of just gravel at the sides we had artificial turf with a bench which was a nice change. Staff were friendly and helpful. There was a nice dog park too. The site was plenty long enough for our motorhome and towed vehicle. The site was sunny. There was not much in the way of shade generally.

ROAD NOISE is EXTREME. We were in a push-up truck camper, and we could hardly talk with all the I-70 road noise. Sites were pretty close together. Restrooms were OK. Friendly staff. We did not consider this site a KOA Holiday. We departed as we could not sleep with the road noise all night.

Nice pull-through trailer spot. No table or shade but that is fine. Clean bathrooms and showers. Great and well-maintained dog park! Lots of fun areas for children to play. There is not a square foot of this KOA that is not thoughtfully landscaped with gravel, rock, wood chip. It is nice to see all the thoughtfulness that goes into the upkeep of a property. We needed to have a cabin for a family member joining and were told there was only one left. It was the higher-end of cabins and there were several simpler ones not rented. You may want to ask about that if you are a cabin person. There are also "old western wagons" for lodge and placed in a wagon circle. That would be a huge hit if you have small children.

We stayed here for one night while traveling west. It's right off the interstate. Nice playground. Spotless showers and bathrooms. Hole in the wall bar across the street if you want to grab a drink or food after a long day. The only bummer was that there was a big sign advertising free breakfast on the weekends but it never opened up. Would stay here again.

This KOA goes the extra mile to please customers! Their attention to detail is evident in the carefully landscaped are among the Conestoga wagons they rent, the cushioned armchairs under the covered outdoor area, the pancakes for sale on the weekend, the updated bathroom ..... This is a great place to just hang out!
