Fantastic staff! They are very accommodating and friendly. The campground is nestled in the hills with a beautiful view of the surrounding area. Large tent sites and very clean!

I have never stayed at a KOA campground before, normally I backpack and stay at remote locations. This time I was staying in town for a race and wanted a better location. I was not disappointed! The grounds were well-kept, and the showers were welcomed. I look forward to bringing my wife with me next year again when I visit for race season.

Such a wonderful location! The owners are super friendly and engaging. My daughter loved the baby pygmy goats and Pete the donkey. I love the history of the building on the campground as well and was so grateful that I was able to read more about it!

Really cool campground. Beautiful views. The animals and stuff were fun, nice store, nice owners. Sites are super, super tight with parking, so just know that. Hot tub also wasn’t working. Otherwise great!

We had a fantastic stay in our tent here. Gary and staff are super friendly. The general store prices are great. Showers are the best I’ve had in a campground.

Loved the tent site beneath the aspen trees that opened up to the playground set. Toddler had a great time, and easy to set the tent while he played. Gorgeous private bathrooms with tiled showers, sun windows, and heat lamps. Unique set up on a steep, forested hill.

Our stay was in a tent for a night. The grounds were clean. This KOA has the nicest bathrooms and showers of any that I have ever stayed at! They were so nice and clean and large enough and I had ample room to change clothes and shower. There were some extremely noisy groups that were loud at night but that is not really the camp's fault.

We only stayed two nights over Labor Day, but it really made our weekend so much better. Clean, modern, and welcoming facilities. Staff was friendly, helpful, and social. The grounds were very well kept, and our tent site was well equipped with water and electric, and picked up and ready for us to check in early. The icing on the cake was the campground pup!

I enjoyed it! Animals were cute. We didn't take advantage of all the amenities because it was just a place to sleep. I loved the shower! Everything was clean!

Great location in the Black Hills. Convenient location to Deadwood and area for sightseeing. The pool wasn't open yet. The restroom and shower area was always very clean. The host was friendly and helpful. My only concern is the RV sites are small and don't provide much privacy.

This KOA was a nice place to stay. It is on a hill with 4 'steps' carved into the hill to stay on. Larger campers should stick to the lower levels. We have a van camper and we had a spot at the top. The view was spectacular. The camp is quiet with hill top cabins, all with great views. The laundry room had newer equipment and each rest room had it's own shower. The pool was closed, maybe it opens in June, we were there in late May. The trolly into town is nice...we chose to hike. While the park does have a few rough spots, it was a beautiful and quiet place to camp.

Wow, this place is beautiful! Check out the adorable Conestoga Wagons and some of the remodeled rooms! Clean bathrooms and showers, nice playground, great trolley that brings you right into downtown Deadwood. Very peaceful!
