General Campground Information

Campstore 8am-9pm daily

Check out the LOCAL  products featured in our store.  We sell individual cans or six packs of Crow Peak beer, brewed in Spearfish, SD.  Crow Peak Cream Ale is our top seller.  We also feature beer from the Knuckle Brewery in Sturgis and Black Tooth Brewery in Sheridan, WYPrairie Berry Winery in Hill City, SD provides us a delicious selection of wines, including their top seller Red Ass Rhubarb.  A chilled bottle is always available.  Fresh brewed coffee from Sturgis Coffee Company is available each morning, along with a refreshing cold brew throughout the day.  Take home a bag of your favorite.   Starbucks Keurig, also available. Our campstore is stocked with basic grocery items, snacks, and beverages.  5lb bags of ice and ice cream.  

Health and Beauty supplies, such as sunglasses, shampoo, toothbrushes, lip balm, and sunscreen, to name a  few, are available for purchase.
RV Supplies, such as fuses and hoses.  Water bottles
Camping supplies, including charcoal, paper goods, dish soap and laundry detergent.  Sleeping bags
Pool supplies, including goggles and swim diapers.  Beach towels

Souvenirs include Deadwood shirts, hats, and jackets.  Jewelry includes Black Hills Gold and locally made precious stone bracelets and Indian nickel necklaces.  Nice selection of stickers, books about the area, cards, including notecards by local artists, keychains and magnets. 

And for the kids: Fossil and gemstone bags of mining rough, rubber band guns, bubble guns, glow in the dark frisbees and glow sticks, camping coloring books, and games.

Pool Hours

The pool is open from 8:30 am until 9:30 pm.  14 and under must be accompanied by an adult at all times.  No one under the age of 16 will be allowed in the hot tub.

Community Fire Pit

Located by the big yellow building, we will start it upon request.  Quiet hours are from 10pm - 7am, so the fire goes out at 10pm.  Wood fires are prohibited.

Meet Your Hosts

Arni and Debra Olson

We can't wait to meet you.

Debra and Arni have returned to their roots after 35 years of marriage, children
and careers. Arni grew up in eastern Montana (Forsyth) and Deb in Lead, SD,
just a couple miles from the campground. The beauty of the Black Hills
surpasses all of their "former" homes which include Dallas and Denver.

Arni spent his career as an engineer, designing integrated circuits, and his
second career of 23 years as a Chief Petty Officer in the Navy Reserve. Debra
is a paralegal and Human Resources professional. Two daughters are living their
dreams-Cassie in Chicago, IL pursuing a career in advertising and Alexandra, a
Tech Sargent in the Air Force stationed in Omaha, NE.
